I find it hilarious that 2 guys were able to figure out she's a girl but the one girl that interacted with her couldn't tell, even tho she herself pretended to be a man at one point and is a physician. like come on. it's a fun drama but there really is no logic to too many things lol
this is really the best drama I've ever watched. the bar is set so high after watching this, it's hard to find another cdrama I can fully enjoy... all I can do is rewatch this
I rarely watch dramas as it's airing but this had me hooked from the first release! I started watching for ao ruipeng but was really impressed by the story and the rest of the cast. once we reached the first case, the story had a great pace. although the culprits for each case was pretty obvious, they made sure the unraveling of each case was interesting and immersive regardless of if you could figure out who the culprits were before they revealed it. the relationship of the leads were so healthy and loving, though they got together way faster than I expected hahaha. the characters were so lovable with beautiful relationships and I grew attached to all of them! supportive family and friends is so good to see in dramas. I only have a few gripes about the last case in that they kept saying they wanted to bring everyone to justice under the law, but in the end, before they can do that, the "bad" guys all ended up just killing each other... and they worked so hard to discover the truth with evidence only to have the truth just be thrown in their faces in the rebellion. I felt that the writer kind of did them an injustice there. also, people are inherently morally grey, and I wish they explored that more than making things seem so black and white at times. regardless, the ending was wrapped up very cleanly. this drama was really a dark horse, and I see a lot of similarities to blossom, which is I think the best drama I've ever watched. I really enjoyed watching this and hope ao ruipeng gets more great scripts like this!
it's so fun seeing so many characters from moonlight mystique appear haha almost everyone from the fox clan x kunlun arc is here xD every time I see bai feng I still go mu jiuuu!! and though ao ruipeng as fan yue will always be my favorite, I love how his character as yan chi is more silly and boyish, offering big smiles freely when he's not looking cool while working or being serious. he's more like arp himself haha. it's like the middle ground of fan yue and lei wujie :>
i've gotten so attached to yan chi's family of the grand princess and yue ning, they're so cute ;; i really hope…
also if wan'er is adopted into the family, wouldn't she technically be yan chi's cousin too? or later will it be voided bc she's adopted as qin wan and not shen wan?
i've gotten so attached to yan chi's family of the grand princess and yue ning, they're so cute ;; i really hope they all have a happy ending bc they were having such wholesome, heartwarming moments, especially when adopting wan'er, that i got a sudden bad feeling...
hope this is a good one, really looking forward to seeing ao ruipeng again! last I watched a coroner story was the imperial coroner, I wonder if it'll be similar vibes? or more like mysterious lotus casebook?
why? he only yelled at daon the whole entire series. he also SAβd him (where he forces himself onto daon while…
they had a good relationship prior to jaemin's manipulation. suhyeon started getting aggressive and losing control of himself because he was losing the person he loved and couldn't do anything about it. of course, nothing excuses abuse and he was terrible for unleashing his frustrations on the object of his affections but people aren't born abusive. he obviously grew up in an abusive family, and just like people can learn to be that way, people can learn to not be that way too. i'm just saying they had a lot of potential, and suhyeon likely wouldn't have turned out that way with daon by his side leading him down a better path. plus the actors have the best chemistry with each other imo. all the characters are flawed humans. tbh seonghyeon was not the greenest green flag everyone thinks he is and i have my issues with him which is why i don't like their ship that much .
damn, it seemed what suhyeon and daon had would've been really good, pity jaemin had to ruin that. i wish i could see them have a happy relationship in another series
god, i don't think i'll ever get over this drama. i laughed and cried and laughed some more. it was written so well, with amazing characters and beautiful relationships. i haven't watched high school dramas in a while and this blew me away with its depth. i only wish the ending wasn't so rushed! i would've loved if it was longer to fully wrap up the story. imagine going back to the past to make your loved ones' lives better only to return to a life that no longer feels like your own... if he gained memories of this new life, whether all at once or over time, it'd feel less bittersweet
tbh i found this season to be easier to watch. season 1 was so damn good but after the first half, everything hurt so bad like ugh my heart... i got so attached to suho in s1 so it was sad not seeing him much in s2 but i really hope they all come together in s3. s2 was fun and more light hearted, i feel, even the darker parts didn't make me feel miserable like s1 and ig that shows the depth of s1 but i still liked the exhilaration of s2. plus they did well with making me like the new main cast, sieun's new friends are so great and i really want to see them befriend suho
this is the only drama I've ever actually watched from the airing date to finish, waiting day by day for the episodes, rewatching episodes while I waited, and it was such a journey. I prefer to binge but this time I don't regret it. I've loved bailu since her dramas from 2019 and her characters are always so strong and likeable. I rarely watch xianxias but tteotm and mm are really top tier.
mm was such a visually appealing drama with well written characters and a solid plotline. I got so attached to all the characters and their relationships with each other. I loved that there weren't a lot of frustrating misunderstandings, the flow of the story was just right. and even if the plot was pretty obvious and predictable, it was done in a way where it felt purposeful and I didn't find it boring. there were actually quite a few plot twists that I didn't see coming. the love between bai shuo and fan yue was so powerful and beautiful and I thought their chemistry both in and out of the drama was insane. in order to make a good drama with bailu, the male lead needs to be able to match her and I think ao ruipeng did really well, I loved him as fan yue. this was a really beautiful and satisfying story that I'll be rewatching many times <3
thinking of tteotm while waiting for new episodes of moonlight mystique ;; it's also really good, hopefully it'll be another masterpiece. i'm happy to be finally watching a drama with similar vibes as tteotm, and bailu is amazing as always. i'm wishing for a happy ending this time but i doubt it lol
fan yue seems like a classic cold ml but ao ruipeng is just so cute i keep seeing lei wujie π especially in ep 11, he's a baby π₯Ίπ i feel like fan yue tries to be cold but he's really just a big softie
fan yue and bai shuo are so cute π they say they each are just using each other only for the wunian shi but they're already obviously attached and care for each other early on
it's a fun drama but there really is no logic to too many things lol
