Really? I love the whole cast! I think they work well with each other, you can really feel the differences between…
I don’t really have a problem with the cast. (Maybe just one, the IT girl feels too stereotypical, a bit forced, and not very convincing.) As for the rest, I think it’s more about the roles not giving the actors much chance to show off their skills yet. Maybe they’ll become more interesting as the story develops.
Her acting is so bad in this one its insane. Cringe, over the top and laughable
Oh hi, my bitter friend! What’s new with you these days? Still nothing better to do than go around leaving baseless negative comments? Ever thought about getting a puppy, a partner… maybe even a life?
Kudos to the actor who plays the copycat wannabe guy with glasses. He was great and really rose to the FL’s level. The rest of the cast feels a bit bland, but that’s what happens when a truly great actor or actress gets strong material and sets the bar so high. Go Hyun Jung is an incredible actress, and I didn’t expect anything less from her in such a role. The directing and editing in the first episode felt a bit less convincing, but even that improved in the second. So far, the plot is interesting, and overall the acting and directing are solid. The FL and her ‘fan’ are both excellent. Rating here is a joke but that is nothing new.
??? Queen Seondeok, Dear My Friends, The Queen's Classroom were all great shows and this one sounds promising…
Why are you so sensitive? If you’re so eager to write negative things (not constructive criticism, not even based on facts) then you should be ready to take it as well. Have a nice day!

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to insult you. I was just expressing the feelings you evoked in me after reading your negative comment here and on the actress’ page. If you don’t like it then maybe stop going around leaving meaningless, negative comments.

That’s fine. I don’t really care what a bitter, negative guy like you thinks, but I want others reading these comments to see that plenty of people feel differently.
The main actress is one of the best in Korea. Just look at her performances in Queen Seondeok, Dear My Friends, and The Queen’s Classroom. If you don’t give her another chance, you’re really missing out. Namib was just a poorly written drama with flat characters. That’s on the writer.
I like the main actor, but I think he's too old for the actress, and they just don’t look good together. I guess I’m wired differently than the average viewer, because most of the hyped dramas don’t really do anything for me.
Nothing really stands out in this drama except for the male lead’s looks. It was obvious he was going to be one of the most booked actors in the next few years. Honestly, with a face like that, he doesn’t even need to act, but he’s actually pretty decent!
I gotta stick up for the female lead. Once again, it seems many can't tell the difference between the acting and the character. Her acting’s totally fine, she’s just playing the role she was given. But yeah, she doesn’t look super natural, and she’s not exactly what you'd expect from a typical K-drama lead. Great body, but her face isn’t quite heroine-level, so it feels a bit weird when everyone keeps calling her a stunning beauty.
The whole drama (plot, characters, actors) is kind of medicore. Not bad, but definitely one of those shows you watch when you’ve run out of better stuff.
The FL a typical pathetic annoying person, couldn't move over ep3 in 6 months.
I prefer this kind of realistic characters. Most people aren’t born strong or perfect. They grow through their struggles, and that’s exactly what happens with this character. I enjoy shows that focus on ordinary women, where they’re not just there to make an unrealistically perfect man look even better, but are truly the leads, facing real-life problems and showing relatable behavior. Both lead actresses were fantastic and had great chemistry. I was already a fan of Lee Yo-won, but Choo Ja-hyun was a great discovery for me!
Is Black Kight a good watch ? Should i give it a try ? I really like Saekyung and can someone tell me what's bad…
Honestly, the first 12–14 episodes of Black Knight are sooo good. It jumps between past and present in a way that totally pulls you in, I binged it without even noticing. Sure, it slows down a bit toward the end and gets emotional (yes, you might cry 😭), but that’s part of what makes it beautiful. I think some people just can’t deal with sad endings, and that’s why the rating’s lower here.
If you like SSK and a good romance, Bride of the Water God is definitely worth checking out. I think many people’s negativity toward this drama stems from that the male lead’s previous drama was very popular on this forum, and because he dated the actress from that show then broke up with her during or after filming with Saekyung. On Viki, over 100,000 viewers rated it 9.2, so clearly, it’s not a bad show at all.
Anyway don’t let other people’s comments decide for you. If you like an actor or a drama seems interesting, just watch it! Make up your own mind and don’t be scared to love something just because others are hating on it.
I know she prefers to keep a light schedule and only take on one project a year, but she's at the peak of her beauty and mature enough now to take on more complex roles. I really wish she'd throw herself into work for the next few years to fully make the most of her potential.
