I'm not sure "rude" is the best term. I'd use reckless, inconsiderate, even irresponsible. In real life, the father and the doctor risked the mother and baby's lives for a questionable purpose. What if the mother and baby died? Or just the mother or just the baby? And in these scenarios, the father survived? Yes, this just a fairytale drama that does not follow reality. However, I'd expect things not so far fetched.

And yet, they are propaganda, which can be for internal or external markets. I really don't care, since it does not affect me, after all I studied History. Others, I don't know. Not my business. For me these dramas as just entertainment that I do not take seriously as historical sources.

One thing that made me question the screenwriter and director's grasp with reality was the FL's father and her doctor taking the FL, who was already in the hospital to deliver the baby, for a long trip that even required taking an airplane, after telling her that her husband had just had an accident and there were good chances he was going to die. Who the hell tells a woman about to deliver a baby that her husband is struggling to remain alive, let alone drag her for a long trip involving taking multiple cars (not even an ambulance) and an airplane. Ah and the doctor also told her there were good chances she might have to have a C-section. Luckily it was at the end, because that did that drama for me.

This drama wasn't bad. However, the constant flashbacks and too much cheeky teenager romance made some parts unbearable and the triangle attempts were pitiful. Nevertheless, it has its good moments that make for a decent watch.

Great concept, but poorly implemented. The acting and story left a lot to be desired. Luckily the episodes were short and it ended quickly.

Good drama. The story starts a bit slow but gets a better pace later. The CGI and special effects are top notch. The acting varies from very good to OK but overall a great job telling the story. The story has the typical plot twists, plot armor, triangles and whatnot. They all blend together and, in the end, it's a entertaining drama.

Yes. It's rare to see that quality. Just get ready, because it's an intense ride.

Watching this one again. There's some mystique about the older Chinese series that got lost in the newer ones. Same to the Korean ones. I can watch the older series many times but seldom finish a newer one.

Good movie, even though it followed the typical Chinese drama's framework. Very good acting in general, and it was also interesting to watch Zhao Li Ying playing a villain.

This series started well and had a good concept. However, the implementation was a disaster. To say the story is a slow burner is an understatement. A little candle would boil the water in a barrel a lot faster. The characters seem to think and move in slow motion and boring becomes common place. I was expecting a lot more based on the description and it could have been a lot more. 6/10 is being very generous.

Very nice drama that reminds the great older Korean series. Lightheated and several funny moments. It's the kind of drama that we just turn our brains off and enjoy. The soundtrack matches it very well and makes the overall watching experience very pleasant. The actors do a great job in general and the production team did not spare on the details.

Very funny series with hilarious moments. The acting in general is good and the story keep us entertained until the very end. The whole production is quite good and stays open for a season 2, which I hope comes soon.

Wow! What a ride! This drama is beyond great and can even be a documentary. It brings different moods and sometimes I could not watch several episodes in a row because they brought mixed feelings. It has everything from funny moments to raw violence. The acting is impeccable and the production managed to bring grasslands' daily life moments. The soundtrack is also really nice. An easy 10/10.

Great series! It starts by a very good new concept and story, supoorted by the acting, direction, production, great CGI and soundtrack. Several plot twists that kept me entertained until the end. This series definitely deserves a season 2.

Thanks! I'll watch it then. I don't like those dramas that leave an open end that makes us wait for a long time to get a conclusion.

Is this one of those dramas that the story does not end on season 1 and needs a season 2 (or more) to continue?

Great series. The concept and scrip make a very good story that a great acting and production turned into a really good drama. As usual, Bai Lu shines and, with the rest of the crew, delivers great performances. A couple plot twists make the story entertaining to the end. The soundtrack was the ice on the cake. Really good.

Not near as good as Dating in the Kitchen and Cupid's Kitchen. Just a below-average production that had a good concept and start but the mediocre acting and script dragged down to boring levels. 6.5/10 is more than enough for it.

Good movie. The story and pace kept me entertained and engaged until the very end. It deserves an 8/10 at least.
