This one started good but a bit past the midle became a trainwreck. Story had a big potential but was ruined by poor direction and acting. FL character showed to be very fickle by the end, which seemed to be writen by amateur fans. 7 is too good of a rating for this one.
Not really. The mother is and they help her, and each other with ideas. They have different personalities, strenghts and skills, and so their husbands. The series is about the stories of each one and their husbands, and how they evolve. It's really good. The writer did a great mix of romance, drama, humor and tragedy, all really well balanced.
This drama deserves at least 9.5 (I rated 10). I usually rate the series and movies based on how they do their job keeping me interested and looking forward what's coming next, acting and how the actors interact with each other, the storyline, photography, qualit of the sets and wardrobe, soundtrack, and production in general. This one checks all boxes with flying colors. It's rare to see such perfect matching (pun intended) that makes everything just right. Congratulations to the whole crew for an outstanding job!
Good concept wasted with poor direction, thus acting. This drama's actors can do better. However, some things like the ML going overboard trying to portay a badass general and the FL trying to play cold and distant were simply too much. Furthermore, some scenes were too cheezy or too tacky, which made them unawatchable and made me skip them or generously use the FF button. 2ML playwd the (expected) bad guy who entitled himself as a good guy who "did everything for the FL and could not understand why she did not love him." So, even 7 is too much for this drama.
Got to half of it. This series deserves a much higher rating. So far the story, direction, acting, production in general are perfect. It's really hard to stop watching it.
This is one of those dramas that despite not being top notch, still makes for a great binge watch because several of its components match really well. FL and ML did a great job in their roles backed by good support actors. The overall production was detailed and did the best with the story. There are so many dramas that I start and are a drag to continue and I even end up dropping some. That's why I gave this drama a relatively high score (8). It did its job really well.

It makes sense to have a shorter title. I'm just curious why "Les Belles" instead of "The Beauties". After all, in almost all dramas they refer to girls as beauties. Maybe they just wanted something different? 😉
Thanks a lot for posting this! I had no idea Viki was also streaming this one. I really don't get what going on with Viki. It seems to randomly announce upcoming content. Some just pop-up whereas others stay in the "coming up" list for several months and some are never released.
The acting and production made this drama's typical story become entertaining and a nice watch. FL and ML delivered good performances with the support actors backing them well kept me entertained and binge-watching the whole series.
Getting close to the middle now. FL is awesome. The two ML are also doing a good job. Story has ups and downs but has been great so far. Very entertaining and interesting.
Neat story a bit different than the usual typical frameworks used by the dramas. I just with they had a bigger budget so the end result would be much better. Acting and production were good enough to keep me entertained from beginning to end without skipping anything. The FL has a distinct look and was quite fun sometimes. The end seems open for a season 2 and I would welcome and watch it.
This drama should have a much better rating. Excellent production of a story that keeps us binge-watching the whole series in a couple sits, great acting and photography, awesome soundratck and visual effects. Everything just right.

I remember that there are other versions where the "sister" (green snake) did not have the sex defined in the very beginning and chose it after a couple episodes.
How to describe this one? A mix of silly, crazy and fun. They surely gave a new twist to the Legend of the White Snake on this one but it ended up fun to watch. The story was all over the place, some characters with a bit different roles, new ones but they all made a good watch. The lively soundtrack also gave it a different vibe. Definitely worth the watch for who like the original story and want to enjoy a different twist. This series could have a better rating, based on what I see on really mediocre ones getting much higher ones. 7/7.5 is a good rating for this one based on what it intends to be.
Lighthearted drama revolving around one of my favorite drinks: beer. Despite only a few of the cast showed a good acting, the overall result was good, very humorous and entertaining. The soundtrack was great. Some silly moments, such as FL and workmate, also previous military, went beat up a group of Internet trolls, as if this is the way to stop them. Anyway, very good drama to watch and unwind.
The story is intriguing in a similar way as the series Reset, with several attempts to change the past to save the FL and then the ML himself. However, the similarity ends there. Contrary to Reset, the acting, direction, and the production itself leave a lot to be desired. This team probably had a much smaller budget and did the best with what they had. Also contrary to Reset, the pace is very slow and sometimes quite boring. Neverthless, worth the watch.
So, even 7 is too much for this drama.
