I just finished it. The story gets better in the final episodes. Really boring most of the time, and also weird with all that thing about eating the mytical beasts. Could have been a lot better.

Great drama! They did everything just right. The screenwriter put a good number of plot twists and a great ending, the director kept the story intriguing, the actors made it binge worthy and the soundrack wrapped everything well. And, of course, Bai Lu kept the queen position. Awesome versatility from the canal series to this fantasy one.

I started watching What a Wonderful World because of Zhao Li Ying and its writer and director seem to have smoked some weird stuff. Does this drama follow the same line?

This is an excellent drama. Everything just right: meticulous production, screenwriting, acting, direction. Some scenes made me laught to tears, whereas others were sad and the actors held them extremely well. It is indeed a masterpiece.

Cool movie. I watched the anime before and got interested on the movies. The production did a good job with the special effects, which are the heart of this movie. There are some funny scenes mixed with sad ones in a well-balanced story. It's worth watching.

This one was really bad. Waste of good actors and production budget. The story concept wad good. However, the script and acting were mediocre.

Entertaining story and production. Main character seemed like a Japanese version of John Wick. Acting was average but kept the movie interesting to watch until the end. Now going to watch the sequel.

Hoping that Viki also streams it. I haven't seen anything there about it yet. However, Viki sometimes streams some dramas without any previous annoucement. So, there's always hope.

The logic you are expecting is not for this kind of drama. It's in Nirvana in Fire and similar. Prisoner of Beauty is more of Love Like the Galaxy and Perfect Match style. And it does its job magnificently well. I started watching Legend of Zamg Hai now. So far it's also great but a different style.

The drama was going perfectly fine with a great scrip and pace. However, somehow they screwed up in the last two episodes. WTF the screenwriter did, or was told to do? Besides dumping several new scenarios, they were all rushed and left some stuff in the air. If it was because pf the 40-episodes limit, why not cut some stuff from the beginning and give more time in the end? Or, why simply not adding so many developments in the last minute?
Besides that, everything else was simply perfect.

Just finished. Indeed a masterpiece. This drama goes from very sober scenes to others that make us cry laughing and the actors hold it perfectly. The production, direction and acting are superb. As nothing is perfect, some comments under the spoiler.

A bit past the middle. Excellent drama. Story, acting, production, direction, all are outstanding. If it continues like this it will be a 10/10 for me. The ML and FL are simply perfect. They can go from very serious scenes to others that make me cry for laughing so much so naturally. Only remember laughing like this in Love Like the Galaxy.
