This is your opinion. I liked the lead male after this drama. And if you like, watch his other dramas. Then your…
Just finished Brocade Odyssey. Seven Tan saved the drama, which would otherwise be a trainwreck if it depended on that guy. He should stay as support actor, at most.
How many Netflix subscribers do you think were watching Kdramas though? I mean I get some awesome scandinavian…
Interesting. Was this article edited? It seemed to list those as "new". Since I keep seeing Netflix pulling old stuff all the time (Amazon is the worst), it did not surprised me. I just hope that Netflix does not strongarm the authors and screw up the drama, as it did with the Chinese Three-Body.
I was ready to watch this but now I'm finding out it only has machine translations. That's really too bad. I don't…
iQiyi is no longer what it used to be and nowadays seems to be only living out of milking everything it can from its users. Its YouTube channel is a mess that became a bait-and-switch scam where they now only post the first few episodes of new series even to paying members.
iQiyi is probably trying to force its users to move to the app, where it likely can squeeze more money out of the subscribers. And for what I have been reading, the quality also dropped there.
I cancelled my YouTube subscription and for what I see, I'm not going back. It's a pity, since some dramas are still good.
Nice story, even though the concept (daughter avenging her wronged family) has been beaten to death (multiple times). The acting was barely passable and some of the actors have some prospect while others are lost causes. The short episodes made watching the complete series just entertaining enough.
Based on the story and what this drama seems to target as its audience, this is one of the (many) things that…
For what it proposes to be, it's good and fun enough. I usually overlook a lot of stuff in these cases as long as it's entertaining enough and the story concept was fine also.
Can someone explain the end to me? How exactly did Yeonu manage to go back?
Based on the story and what this drama seems to target as its audience, this is one of the (many) things that we should not put much (or any) thought into it. Just go with the flow and enjoy the entertainment. 😉
Lighthearted drama good enough to pass time. It's a good story and the average acting makes it a good filler while waiting for top dramas. The FL was better in Douluo Continent.
Awesome series with a bit of everything. Some of it reminded me of Joy of Life. And, like Joy of Life, if combined excellent acting, production, direction and a great OST topping it. What are the plans for a season 2? It clearly left the story open fpr a sequel, which I hope does not take years, like JoL.
Descendants of the Sun, Goblin, Mr. Sunshine, The King: Eternal Monarch are just relaunches. Netflix had at least a couple of those until very recently. Now the company does not want to spend in new content and just relaunch old stuff trying to pass them as new? I know Netflix has been going down and has been desperately trying to recover, but this is a lame attempt even though some of those series are good. Netflix should stream new series. Plenty of them.
Leave to the government to screw up what is working by dumping tons of regulations, censorship and policies prepared by bureaucrats completely disconnected from the market and audience. It's like some people are not happy until they screw everything up.
It does not matter whether the ML looks good or not. The character is just trash of the scum. And the screenwriter…
Yep, I already saw how many here on MDL only care about appearances and some more radicals even want to dictate what their preferred actors play. Hell breaks loose if different. I've watched a few dramas where MLs push the FLs into a corner. However, they usually do not cross a line and only proceed after the FLs accept them, Stockholm Syndrome or not (more acceptable if we think about that period). However, it's really hard to believe that normal women in that situation would have a similar reaction. I remember Kill Me Love Me but do not recall the ML being as bad as this one. Did not read the book, so do not know how bad it was.
There was another girl interested in the ML and she even caused some damage to the company "because she deserved…
It's a fine series as long as you do not have very high expectations. Good enough for a good entertaining. The concept is great, but could had been better executed.
Don't they have to wait for one year between seasons? So, Spring 26?
I'm trying to figure out the real reasons. Taxes is just a hypothesys. I'm not buying that "producers are wasting too much viewers' time with flashbacks, etc.". 😉
does it have secondary female character/characters with feeling for the male lead?
There was another girl interested in the ML and she even caused some damage to the company "because she deserved him". However, she "repented" and it was like nothing happened. She continued working there and everyone happy.

There's no "putting lipstick on this pig". The story had a good potential but got some twisted twist.
