huhuhu that's good, that confirms the fact that Zhao Lusi is an amazing actress that embodies the characters she…
Yes, she's a great acteess. Neverthless, I still like ZL's previous look and style. I started watching Gen Z before finishing LoPG and it just confirmed it. It's rare to see such talent.
I want to watch Fang of Fortune too, so I plan to subscribe to IQIYI once this one is out.
I'll watch if some other company streams it. iQiyi became just a crook company after if charged a YouTube membership fee the same as the app and cut that series after just five episodes in that channel. It is a very despicable, not to mention unethical and bordeline illegal, way to force viewers to subscribe to their app. Not me. I'm out.
Will Netflix or Viki also stream it? iQiyi hasn't been very reputable lately. It simply stopped streaming Fangs of Fortune on YouTube even for the paid subscribers. I cancelled my subscription there and do not plan to go back to it.
I usually don't comment but I feel utterly annoyed by the comments here, here is whyFirst of all, for those who…
I agree. This series is perfect as it is. Nothing to change, even Meng Meng's case, which despite sad is an unfortunate occurrence that happens way too often and the predators tend to walk away unpunished.
This series is awesome. I like TCM and can attest by personal experience that it works, of course, if the person treating us isn't a quack. Having said that, the story is soothing and has many hints and advice about how we can have a balanced life. The production, direction and acting are very good and the soundtrack complements the scenes very well. I started watching if before finishing Story of Pearl Girl and the Zhao Lu Si's appearance and acting difference is glaring. Even though she was also good in Pearl Girl, I still like better the style in Gen Z.
Excellent drama. The overall production, direction, acting and sountrack made me watch binge-watch it from beginning to end. It deserves a much higher rating. Only remark, which I commented before is Zhao Lu Si, who seemed like a different person. Not just her looks changed, but her acting was also a bit more mature and serious. It was still great, but I have been used to her previous style (e.g. Love Like the Galaxy and Gen Z). In retrospect, the way she acted in this series fitted the story better. Neverthless, I'm still hoping to watch the ZLS I'm used to again. 😉
This drama had the potential to be very good. However, the acting and story made it barely bearable. Despite the short episodes, I had to fast forward some to get to the end. And at the end it seems the writer smoked something "really good" because common sense fell through the window. I gave it a 6 because I was feeling generous.
I just finished watching Love Between Fairy and Devil, and I'm considering starting this drama. I have a few questions…
I watched Love Between Fairy and Devil. Reached episode 20 of this series and it does not lit a candle to LBFD. Story, acting, soundtrack, special effects. None get even close. It appears that they are intended for different audiences.
Very good series with scenes going from very peaceful and relaxing to nerve wrecking moments. The acting was good and the production did a good job with the special effects. The plot twists were a bit expected but still made it entertaining. Good for anyone looking for action.
I was hoping season 3 would explore different angles than s1 and 2, but it ended up just emphasizing her fights against the bad guys who threatened her "precious students". It became too much and a bit tiring in the end. Entertaining nonetheless.
People are judging this drama on MDL ratings and saying its flop but they all are idiots grow up guys this ratings…
Agree. There's a while that I no longer look at the ratings here. I just read the story, check actors and read some reviews and comments and filter what useful from what can be ignored. Many here vote for their favorite actors despite the whole thing is garbage and try to downgrade the ones with the actors they do not like. I have not finished this one yet but can see it's much better than others with higher ratings.
Everyone says she lost weight. But her nose structure changed and thats nothing to do with weight loss.
Something happened. Actually, she looks like someone who went through some major disease that depleted her energy. I checked her again in Love Like the Galaxy and look like two different persons. Whatever it is, I hope it goes well for her.
It depends. The screenwriter wrote a good scheming and intrigue overall plot. However, the relationship between the main female lead and one of the male leads gets into sadomasochism where he tried to kill her a couple times, tortured her and she still kept following him. It gets really sickening at some points. I paused it and taking a break now before getting back to it. Besides that, it's overall good.
No, she never did plastic surgery. Only haters that always say that.
If that's the case, I hope she's paying a lot of attention to her health. Her face somehow changed. I wonder why she would do that. She was gorgeous before and did not need any change.

What does asking about it has anything to do with "hater"? She's a very beautiful actress and somehow looks very different in this series. If not plastic surgery, why such heavy make-up? I barely recognized her in the first couple episodes.
Is it the same? The actors' list matches the one here on MDL. However, the intro looks like it was made around 2015. Why would they do that?
