The screenwriter seems to have taken vacations in the final part of this series. It started really well but those plot twists in the end were lame. Also, some episodes seemed to be just fillers to stretch the lenght. The idea of providing a what-if scenario was very good. I did not understand whether the very final was part of the what-if or was a sequence of the original plot. Did it mean she would have died ahead of him anyway? Also, the general deserved better than falling for the pos crown prince. That was a plot failure also.
Very good series, but could have been excellent. Great acting, direction and soundtrack. The production in general was also outstanding. However, the story could have been a lot better.
Cool and funny short series. Lighthearted and satyrical. The director and actors did a great job. They even did the transformation into "heroine mode" when the FL was getting ready to fight the bad guys. Worth watching for some laughs.
Cool series for gourmets. The story was the average rom com, acting all over the place and a pleasant soundtrack. However, the photograhy of the cooking and dishes made me hungry. Now I want to try most of those dishes! I recommend watching this one if you like good food.
In this story, neither of the couples that you mentioned belonged to the same biological family. (Interesting…
Calling an acquaintance by "younger brother", "older sister", etc. is completely different than family members who grow together treating each other as actual sister and brother or insisting in being called uncle, etc. I totally understand the first case and if the "brother" and "sister" decide to go beyond that. However, the second case still feels like inbreeding and justified incest. In the main lead couple it was literally the screenwriter racking his/her brain figuring out how to get them married. For what I read in this comments section, the original book gives a morally acceptable story that should not have been changed that much for the drama.
OK series spoiled by the freaky story. What a weird family where uncle and niece, brother and sister chase each other and intermarry. Acting and production were fine, except for the inbred stuff. Not first time this ML actor fell for the sister. Same as in the Lost You Forever plot.
Interesting and entertaining story. Could have been better developed, though. The main lead couple had a great…
Holly smokes... the story was going well and despite a couple plot holes here and there it was very good. However, it seems that the screenwriter had some kind of mental breakdown or diarrhea in the last episodes. Those zombies were really hard to swallow and dragged an otherwise great series down. It was really bad. It would have been better to skip that stuff and just make the minister a super monster alone. The drama lost some marks with me because of that. Maybe the zombie-loving crowd will like it.
Interesting and entertaining story. Could have been better developed, though. The main lead couple had a great chemistry and acted well. Cannot say the same about others. The soundtrack was very pleasant and added a lot to the drama. However...

I usually watch those series in my 75in TV. Cannot watch on a mobile because the small screen misses so many details that the production carefully puts in the scenes, mostly in those costume dramas. Therefore, I only use Viki, Netflix, Amazon and YouTube because those platforms allow to connect my PC to the TV and stream there. ;-)

Yep! It showed in the "coming up" list and I already setup the reminder. Netflix is on a roll and I hope it continues! It released The Double, then Kill me Love Me, just released Love Game in Eastern Fantasy and soon starting The Story of Pearl Girl. Awesome!

I'm tied to Netflix's release dates. KMLM will end this week and TSoPG only starts streaming after that and will go all through December. Finishing Fateful Love right now. Good but not even close to TD.

Excellent points by both of you. My (humble) personal view on the competition and all the visual effects is that the production wanted to pass the effect the audience in the scene was "seeing" and "feeling" by listening to those two specific two pieces. In a nutshell, the two players played so well that they could make their audience literally see and feel the music they were playing and the message they wanted to convey. Notice that the visual effects only started after they were already playing but really engaged into the performance. Of course, this is just my understanding. ;-)

Thanks Regina! You did an outstanding job with the article. As professional and detailed as the series you wrote about. Series like The Double are rare to come by. Like you, from time to time I rewatch the competition scene. They were really inspired when making them. Now I am looking forward to watching Kill Me Love Me, The Story of Pearl Girl and Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. I usually wait for the entire series to be available before watching because I like to binge watch. Also look forward to exchanging more ideas with you.
Is this on Netflix? I look for it but didn’t see it .
There's something weird about the Netflix app in the US. I do not see it in the list but if I search, it briefly shows it and then disappears. Do you in other countries see similar behavior?
