Title Star Struck
Six episodes in and I’m wondering why I’ve bothered to keep watching this uninvolving, unconvincing series. I’m fudanshi and It feels to me as if it was made solely to cash in on the huge commercial success of the BL genre. Some truly great BL’s are being produced in Korea, this isn’t one of them.

The most unbelievable thing to me about the first episode of this fantasy series is when drop-dead gorgeous Thana is desperate to make love with his partner he gets knocked back with the same old “too tired” excuse that Eve probably used on Adam. If he’d had it off with the guy who shared the joint with him that would have made this over-long draggy opener worth watching for a few censored NC seconds at least.

Maybe it's because I am a gay man, but I don't mind the forwardness of Haram. It's actually kinda interesting…
I’m a gay guy too and if Haram was stalking me it’d be over in a nanosecond because I’d be dragging him straight down to the stationery cupboard.

Title Love Mate Spoiler
I love this series, it’s funny, sexy and great fun to watch. Maybe it’s because I’m a gay man, but IMHO the haters who are heaping so much negativity on Haram have failed to register that Lee Jun is his team leader and could easily get this crazy newbie disciplined or fired if he complained to his superiors about him, but he does nothing at all like that. In spite of his apparent resistance, he’s gradually falling for this persistent spunk and has been from the moment he knelt down in front of him to tie his shoelaces. The truth of this is revealed in episode 4, so my recommendation is to keep watching.

Title Step by Step
Is this a BL or even a romance or is this Building Inter Office Relationships 101?This is so slow it's going backwards.…
Step by Step is the perfect title for this series. Four episodes in and it’s limping along like it’s got a sprained ankle. I can’t imagine too many office employees would come home after a stressful day at work and want to switch on and watch a show about a stressful day at work. A third of the way in and SBS is giving Check Out stiff competition for the title of the most tedious office BL I’ve ever watched. The mere threat of a further 8 lengthy episodes is just too much, I’m bailing out now.

I’m a gay guy who really loved the two episodes shown so far. It’s clearly not meant to be taken seriously, reminding me of what Hollywood used to call screwball comedies way back when. The script is fast-paced and funny and the two leads are both super-cute. Can’t wait for episode 3.
