I just gave this outstanding series a rating of 10. I hope we can push it up out of the sevens at least.

This is the most mind-blowingly beautiful movie about gay male love I’ve ever seen. Just finished the first of what I expect to be endless rewatches. There’s no question in my mind that this is literally a flawless masterpiece. I’m a queer guy who seldom gets totally lost in a movie, but this one was impossible to watch without becoming involved emotionally with every single frame of it. For me anyway, JBL are the best in the whole wide world. ❤️ ❤️ 💗

I’d like to have a guess at why this should be called Harmless Bromance instead of Dangerous Romance. Perth and Chimon are clearly 100% non-romantic close friends offscreen, who find playing convincing lovers onscreen something of an embarrassment, Chimon in particular. These two talented actors have simply been miscast. No-one would expect AJ and JJ to stick their tongues down each other’s throats, or PP Krit (one of my top biases) to play Conan the Barbarian. Please GMMTV, give P&C less awkward leading roles, with different partners.

Two things really stand out for me: Book’s excellent acting in a much more dramatic role than he played in either Enchanté or AB&AB, and just loving First and Khaotung out of school uniform and performing as two guys their actual age. One of the year’s best series, high in my personal Top Ten.

Who wrote the script for this major disappointment, Mother Teresa? Episode 8 and Sailom is still terrified that Kang is going to do “something dirty” with him. Puh-leeze! I know most BL’s are not produced with post-adolescent fudanshi like me as their target audience, but the script for this turkey is completely unrealistic and unworthy of the talents of Perth and. Chimon .

It’s hardly stalking when the stalkee can’t wait to get home and shag the trousers off the stalker. As this brilliant series is currently trending at #1 Japanese and #3 overall on this website, immediately behind Only Friends, another allegedly-toxic drama, there’s clearly a big audience for a slice of this kind of realism as a refreshing change from the usual passionless peck on the cheek we might be offered by episode 4 if we’re lucky. Stalk me, Mizuki, I’ll leave the door open.

For me, this was just about as good as it gets. I love everything about this movie and the original series. A beautiful love story.

From my fudanshi viewpoint, if I found out that Mizuki was stalking me I’d think that I must have died and gone to heaven!

Frank fans who are as disappointed with this series as much as I am might enjoy, as I did, seeing him in an earlier, much better one: ‘Cause You’re My Boy’, on GMMTV’s YT channel. Made in 2018 with a bunch of future stars such as Drake, Khaotung, AJ, Neo and a chubby-cheeked Phuwin looking fresh out of the womb, Frank and his then-teenage buddies spend much of the series man-spreading in unnecessarily short shorts. Clearly, he needs to renegotiate another contract with GMMTV as soon as possible, before both his and Long Shi’s careers go straight down the gurgler.

OK, episode 6 totally confirms it: My partner and I both agree that #1 on our fantasy BL bucket list is a foursome with Yoh and Mizuki. We’ll bring our own sheets.

Anyone suffering from insomnia who doesn’t want to take pills should sit comfortably and attempt to watch an episode of this without sinking into a coma. Four mind-numbing hour-long snooze fests so far and I truthfully haven’t managed to stay awake through any of them.

OMG, Frank and Long Shi, your entire careers will collapse completely if you appear in any more disasters like this one. You’re obviously very popular both in Thailand and internationally, but please try to get yourselves into something well-written and directed for a change, before your fans stop supporting you altogether.

At last the most disappointing series of 2023 has staggered to its merciful end, finally putting me out of my misery. I cannot believe that such a beautiful first season was followed by this travesty of a sequel. Akira is undoubtedly the most frigid male I’ve ever seen on my Apple TV, apart from Otzi the Iceman, buried in the Swiss alps for five thousand years. The seconds-long, alleged NC scene in the last episode was completely unconvincing. I, for one, don’t believe they did anything apart from fart nervously and give up, which is what I should have done after episode one.

Judging from the comments on here so far, nobody’s dozing off while they’re watching this one!

Just finished watching episode 6 and am still completely blown away. The acting from this entire cast plus expert direction and a riveting storyline have all combined to produce one of the truly realistic, great BL series of this or any other year.

He suggested I go and have sexual intercourse with myself, but not that politely.. He also told me that there’s a local nail salon, catering mainly to women, but who will also cut men’s toenails for $50, or five bucks per toe. If that’s what they charge, I guess I’ll just keep on doing it myself.

After we watched episode 2, I suggested to my same-sex partner that he might get turned on by cutting my toenails for me. I don’t think I should print his answer here, as it might cause offense to more sensitive readers. Somehow I don’t think this pastime will start trending any time soon.

GagaOOLala is listing this series at #1 with its audience here in Australia in three top-ten lists: Gay, BL/Yaoi and Free. I agree with everyone who says its running-time is way too short. Only 24 minutes in and Mizuki has the last line of dialog in episode 4, when he asks Yoh a totally unnecessary question: “hey, want to do it?” and bam, that’s the end, no NC, no nothin’. What is this - a BL series or the Theater of Cruelty?

I wish I had amnesia so I could forget ever watching this disastrous mess of a sequel to what was one of my top favorite series of 2022.

Twelve minutes into episode one and I knew I’d misread the series title. I thought it was Venus in the Sky, but it’s obviously Penis in This Guy.
