Yeah, I saw all that and was hoping that all that comes after the reconciliation. I've watched all those trailer scenes so many times and tried to obsessively piece things together and guess the timeline of the events shown.

Thank you so much for your answer. It made me very happy and now I am very much hoping it all transpires as you described. Since it seems by all accounts that the show is following the book quite closely (maybe about 80 percent someone said), I am even more excited for the coming episodes!

I understood that a lot happens for her to finally forgive him but do they do things together after reconciliation and affirming their love for one another? I'd love to watch that. Please let me know if you've read the novel.

I'm kind of hoping they will change some of the timeline so the separation happens a little earlier and then they do something together after reconciliation- like maybe solve a national crisis or fight a common enemy or something. I just want them to do something together as a team and a powerhouse couple instead of just reuniting in the end and that's it.
I felt like he was thinking dude he also fallen into the pit....poor guy
I already thought while watching LLTG that I'd be all in for watching a drama spin-off about the third prince's romance. His character seems really intriguing and I'd love to see him fall hard like LBY for a spirited woman himself and have a real adventure with her.
I tried paying for it in the app and it keeps saying payment failed. Anyone else having the same problem or know…
Thanks so much. I think it was happening because I am travelling out of the country right now but my techie husband did some troubleshooting and managed to make it work. He is my hero!
I love this scene. FL with her hair down, embracing ML who is unconscious/injured, and both their clothing are…
That's such a sweet, raw moment. Do you think it is just a promo photograph captured during the boat scene in episode 2 because the setting and clothes including her faint scar on the forehead seems very much the same? Or do you think it is an actual scene from the drama to come in the later episodes?
Today's episodes were good. Loved the fight scene at the end of ep. 24. Yinzhang obviously has a crush on Qianfan,…
I think it goes well with the character because she is written as self-absorbed and someone praised by everyone for her beauty and pipa talent. She is used to thinking that most men she meets fall for her because of her looks and talent. In other words, her opinion of herself is a bit spoiled and overrated. Combined with both her friends pampering her and being over-protective of her, she doesn't have good self reflection. Hopefully she will learn her lesson, find out who she really is and redeem herself. It would make for a good coming of age story. I know someone like her. She is beautiful and so used to thinking all men want her that she was so mad and mortified when the man she thought liked her actually liked our other friend (not as striking looking as her but much nicer person). She got mad and eventually broke her friendship because she was miffed about it. It was funny watching Yinzhang and it kept reminding me of her. So naive and spoiled by attention!
Don't understand the hate on this drama, it's perhaps, if not the best, one of the best currently airing. It shows…
I totally agree. It is quite a realistic portrayal of a more adult and complicated relationship which is still something one can completely to. There are so many themes here and all of them are woven together so well. There's the FL with a scarred past and that always comes with some baggage, there's her parent's expectations which so many still face in Asian countries and she is in a relationship with a younger man who is also her subordinate at work. She has also just started work as a new director and although very competent, she has a bit of confidence issues. All this is so relatable than just some bland, candy female who is clumsy and cute and madly in love with the ML being her only personality. Similarly the ML is also more layered and seems more real. His previous relationship didn't work out and his father is a real piece of work. His reluctance to marriage seems to be mainly a worry about his father and his past experiences which is also very real. I really liked the different points of view about marriage by the supporting cast because that's just how marriage is and we all know that you ask them the same question another time when their situations change, and they'd have a different answer. I could go on but I just wanted to say that I am really enjoying the drama and find it more nuanced and realistic. Don't get me wrong, I love the sweeping romances and the fun loving couples with no misunderstandings but I love this too for its truths while also keeping it funny and enjoyable. Being in a loving relationship myself, I know that I sometimes behave most irrationally and petulantly precisely because I am in love. I actually liked the part from the first episode when the mother said she was worried about the FL and her fiance's relationship because they never disagreed or fought. To me that would indeed be a red flag. When such a strong emotion, maybe the strongest of emotions, such as romantic love is involved, there are always small misunderstandings and arguments because of all the strong feelings, hopes and expectations that are inherently a part of romantic love. And as long as the relationship is strong and healthy and one eventually talks it out, that is also part of growing together. I hope this happens to our lovely couple in FLW too.
Is it Luo Yunxi's own voice in the drama or has it been overdubbed? I love the drama so far and was wondering about it. Also, did the FL also get dubbed or is it her own voice?
