very diferent from starry love

in this immortal arc she needed some redemption.
Like explaining why she pushed ttj away, showing that she didn't mean all the awful stuff she has told him, the she loves him...

And all we had was lss saving ttj several times simply because it was the right thing to do. And for some reason they got engaged in ep 35...

If you aren't a cruel and vegenful person why would you say the things lss said to ttj in their wedding night? or in the tower scene? or in this ep? why doesn't she try to make up to all the hurt she caused ttj in this arc instead of acting like she did nothing wrong?

People can easily accept that she had to do bad things in order to save the world. However it is hard to swallow how far she is willing to hurt ttj without needing to do it or how she never tries to make it up to him somehow

yeah in this ep she showed she cares for him. And then broke his heart. And tomorrow will do even worse.

I don't think doing something because is the right thing to do can show how she feels about a person. On the other hand, the things she says to ttj on the wedding night and the tower scene were complelty unecessary for her to complete he mission and only served to hurt ttj. That is cruel without any necessity...

I think there is some improvement.
In the mortal world she heard her grandma died and imediatly blamed ttj and planed an awful way to kill him. In the immortal arc she at least needs some proofs before condeming ttj and killing him.

Maybe after atempting to kill him a couple more times she will actuallt start to love him...

She stood up to the sects because she KNEw he was inocent. He didn't deserve to die and she woud do it for anyone.

And she believing in ttj after her father's death instead of acepting whatever she is being told without any proof shows inteligence not love. And she even explains that she doesn't believe in the story because ttj told her he had the crossbow but didn't mention the sword. the sotry didn't make sense to her.

Nobody is saying that LSS is a villain. But she just is pretty cruel to ttj and never really shows that she loves him.

that is another really weird thing in this drama.
After the mortal arc the usual was that lss would go through some redemption arc proving she loves ttj.

Here we had ttj ignoring all the cruel things she told him in the mortal and imortal arcs and accepting her with open arms in ep 35. It was too forced. It would have been better to have lss saying she was sorry for how she has been treating him and talking about her feelings instead of having them just kiss.

did she ever apologize or said to ttj "I love you"?

it is funny that the best ending for the show would be for ttj to have a HE and lss a sad ending.
for most of 39 eps she has shown she doesn t deserve ttj's love.

I don't even know if it wouldn't be better for ttj and si ying to end up together. They could bond over loving people that didn't really love them back.

And that is pretty weird because up to a point in the mortal arc it appeared as if she might start having feelings for him but then they went out of their way to make her as cruel to ttj as possible.

And then in this arc at most they showed that lss thinks ttj is a good person and that she feels guilty. Although she never apologises or acknowlegdes she was awfull to him.

I will never understand why they had a brief romance on ep 35.

yeah she has a reason but it is like the 3rd time she says these kind of awful things to ttj? I am not counting other minor insults...

And I don't think we have ever seen her sacrifice anything for love towards ttj. In the mortal arc it was because he couldn't die and here because he didn't deserve to die. it is hard to see her love for ttj...

On the whole she feels like a hero who can be extremely cruel to someone that shows all the time he loves her.

I have no idea why lss has to say such cruel words to ttj all the time.
it makes her one of the worst fl leads I have ever seen in a xianxia/wuxia

the problem is that here we need a scene with the leads talking. she just seeing him or searching for him for ever just isn't enough.

if the ending is simillar to lbfad it will feel 1000x times worse.

the show shouldn't have had them kissing and about to be married on ep 35.

In that ep lss should have started to work in order to have an honest relationship with ttj. So that at the end we can say that she deserves him.

even ttj whole trauma about not being loved doesn't make much sense now because of what happened on ep 35 and his "hate me" plan seems silly. lss has showed she has no problem in killing him to save the world several times...

so as long as the fls are alive it is a happy ending.
you can say it could have been done better, but there are much worse out there.

For example, lbfad has a much more rushed ending. everybody wanted an epilogue about how their lives together would be.

here if there is a he it will also be too short...

but in starry love they spent some time explaining how the fls would reincarnate and their relationships were properly explored.

As long as they were alive you know how their lives would be. you don't need a scene showing their happiness or exploring the romance.

no. in the novel ttj is hiding in a village in the mortal world because he thought lls would be happy if he was dead.
he even pretends to be amnesic but in the end lss finds out he was lying.

in the novel yes.
and it will look sad and miserable in the show so it is very likely to happen
