I think we have seen the same dramas lol. here I actually have some hope because it seems like the ml is going to lose at the halfway point and the second part of the drama is going to be about him and the fl getting their revenge on everybody. So the second part of the drama should have an interesting plot
I don't think I am going to finish this drama. The wuxia world looks pretty interesting even if the power gang seems too powerfull, but it is starting to feel like a story where the mc is going to use the system and break character to acomplish his goals instead of adapting to the wuxia world he is in.
Another problem is that is seems that instead of spitting blood cheng yi spits tears in this drama giving a very weird vibe to the drama

Another thing to take into account is that he must have been preparing to leave his agency for years. So he must have been living a very clean and carefull life style. Otherwise it doesn't make sense for him to jeopardize his last 5 to 10 years of being a male lead in dramas.
hell, I wouldn't even be surprised if he ( and basically all chinese actors and actresses) has some secret very serious relationship that he keeps hidden so that he can film romantic scenes without problems.

At this point I have no idea why anyone would think that some weird rumours from a nobody about xu kai cheating would hurt his career. He has survived several rumours similar that proved to be false so most people wouldn't even care.
The gambling rumour could be dangerous, but it seems nobody find it credible because they exagerated and xu kai is just too busy to be able to do what they claimed.
If xu kai was smart he could probably write and film a drama about his life. I bet it would be a hit.

I think something very weird happened with this drama.
We have no idea why a lot of things happen in the last eps. like how did the fl become a full demon without her past changing? why was she able to use the sect sword and later techniques without any training and effort? why didn't the ml die? why did he become some kind of cat demon? why didn't we have a decent scene between ml and his father in the past explaining stuff?
however we had enough time to have lots of flashbacks of repeated scenes and plenty of scenes of the second couple that had 0 interest at that point
I am sorry, but the ending of the drama isn't bad. It is awful!
For some reason the fl can sudenly use the sect weapon and can use the sect techniques without even training or effort. Then only her could use the weapon of the ml why? why did the fl become a full demon just because she didn't get the evil demon core? if it wasn't the ml that made her a full demon in the present why didn't her past change? why didn't the ml die after being hit by the sect weapon?
one of the worst xianxias I have ever seen. the music and special effects are good, but the story is so bad... and the ml is one of the most useless mls ever. whenever he says he is going to deal with something he fails miserably and needs to be saved. I also don't get the demon lord. it is very creepy that he falls in love with a little girl he raised.
this is one of the most confusing and weird xianxias/wuxias I have ever seen. I mean, the ml was hurt by the villain and is on the floor sufering and then people acuse him of colluding with the villain?
why nobody else helped the ml fight? why does the villain even need the stones if he can just go to the base of the strongest sect and do whatever he wants?

ps I have no idea why the students of 2 guys that are fighting would decide to become best friends and go see their fight. how was that supposed to work out?
i loved the show, but the last few eps made no sense and i don't even get the ending. It was so confusing..
I think the ending was the most original thing I saw in xianxia. they basically used the powers of the book and the pearl to create a paradox so that 2 versions of the ml could be possessed and fight each other in a place the laws of the world didn't apply.
I do have a problem with the last minutes of the ep (they don't explain how xie xuachen is alive there, but as fate destroyed the book he basically changed the future. so anything would be possible. and we do see that the fl is using a spirit ancklet that she never used in the original timeline. so I guess it is ok
I can't wait for tomorrow! I'm sure the ending will be great and the writers may have a couple of twists more…
my problem with HT being the last villain is that the DL is already sort of possessing the ml. we don't need another guy doing it... I think it is much more likely that HT and the ml will fuse and remake the world so that pearl becomes human and ends up with a soul of the ml that miraculously survived
