You'd also notice the look on his face when Pran lied about who called him whilst they were drinking at the bar.…
absolute sh*t move there, agreed.
So im just thinking, for such a rash person with the emotional wavelength of a 5-year old (the personality/character that Wai is portrayed to be), it wouldnt make sense for Wai to be so calm to have known all these and not react impulsively. That's kinda a out-of-character plotpoint for me.
My imaginary plotline: i'd rather Wai starts ignoring Pran after finding out, and gets super pissed and paggro about everything - which Pran inevitably finds out and they quarrel a firestorm. Yet at a moment where Pran needed friends to protect him and no one else stood up, Wai does so, cos no one bullies Wai's bestie.
(Wai's internal monologue) 'I'm pissed off as sh*t for him keeping important stuff from me, but that doesn't stop me from loving my best friend, even if i feel like kicking him whenever i see his face for now'

@Mermaid @TheGORJUSMARSH Thanks for confirming
I was confused.
If i were Pran's best friend, i would confront him about this? Or at least I'd be angry and give the ignoring treatment for a while, as opposed to faking..
I'm a bit late to realise/ask this But timeline wise for ep. 9, was Wai putting on a fake face when he went to talk to Pran about liking Pha at the bar?
Since Wai technically saw them in the car few days back.
Ps: Also, if it helps to soothe the hate on Wai, Jimmy appeared in p'Jennie's reaction video - p'Go had a go at cursing him jokingly while watching the episode ~
And on today's Very Special Episode of Bad Buddy... This was a bit weird. A bit contrived. A bit half-baked. But…
Yes to InkPha
Would love to see KornWai but seeing how Korn doesn't standup for Wai at the bar when he was bullied, probably not. One would protect or at least help one's crush out right
let me take this chance to say also: We should all aim to be a supportive friend like Korn
We may all find ourselves in various situations that could lead us to do things that we aren't comfortable about to other people - while we deal with the root of that, we can also use our minds and hearts to find ways to support and be that edifying presence to that person(s). Especially if you know that your presence and words can be that candlelight, no matter how small, that a person in darkness needs.
yeah. the resolutions needs to at least involve Wai being:1) remorseful of his actions2) aware of exactly what…
yup, those were two separate events
Pat was literally standing up for Wai when he didnt have to. Korn mentioned as well ---> but Pat did so anyway, whether be it cos of Pran, or cos he couldnt see past his teammate (Wai is technically his teammate) being bullied. Pat and friends did the exact same bullying a few episodes back as well.
but i highly doubt there'll be space for any confrontation, seeing that it's ep 10 next already
ok i wanna throw in what i think about wai,,though i already see where this is going (pat and pran forgiving him…
yeah. the resolutions needs to at least involve Wai being: 1) remorseful of his actions 2) aware of exactly what he did wrongly, and the failed justifications he might have had while doing so 3) aware of the unnecessary + painful hurt he has caused to someone whom he claimed to have 'loved as his best friend' 4) proper redemptive action on Wai's end
The episode did not tell us if Pran Pat was aware that Wai did all the nonsense: a) broadcast of sound on stage b) dropping of curtains
Wai is all the toxic bitches in other BLs combined. That's why Backaof did not feel the need for a female antagonist.
im not buying the motivation - there has to be something more. unless the dude is literally evil and has the emotional temperament of a jealous 5 year old
but he had far too few lines that the ship sunk too
too bad Wai-Pha isnt gonna work out too, the opponent is too strong
SIGHPIES my ship has sunk

Merry Christmas, all!

a) broadcast of sound on stage
b) dropping of curtains
from the bad behavior of Wai (being hurt and disappointed does not justify your actions, no matter how good-looking you may be even)
to the sudden 'okayness' of pat's friends (aside from Korn, there was a good scene to explain his behavior)
to the group scuffle involving firearms and the resolution of the arrest warrant/legal charges
the pacing is alright but the weight of these issues did not sit properly because they were resolved too easily.
in which case i will like NANI WHAT THE HELL
