MY GUESS is that the previous male lead (who Pat took over from) came back with vengeance and did this/ had a hand in it.

at least that's what i'll tell myself to make myself feel better till friday comes

What hit me more was that in the preview Pat offered to post that they broke up to help Pran - whatever the circumstances that led to such an option even being formed is regrettable.

I'm not sure if Pran would be comfortable with that even if he knew Pat meant well with that.

if it's any comfort to you, i've learnt from previous episodes not to trust the preview/teasers, cos the director cant be trusted LOL. He does all these cuts for the trailer on purpose haha, i guess he loves to bring the audience on roller coaster rides. (remember preview for ep4....)

My guess is that the friendship tension will come to a resolution in at most 2 episodes ---> we may even see character growth and friendship growth in this. (many friendships grow after a fight, depending on what both parties make of it. if both sides really care, it'll show)

cos ALL their dense headed friends started ostracizing them

he said it at the first nivea face wash scene

and his lines were a lot more painful to hear

Korn was straight up expressing his anger (once emotions has been expressed and logic comes back, friends are likely to make up)

but Wai was all like "i cant not forgive you right , if not i'll be an asshole" passive aggressive - which meant that Pran meant a lot more to him as a friend and the 'betrayal' that much more painful. And also Pat has been an asshole to Wai for all time so erm

i am so conflicted.

i hope they properly communicate in 1 episode
