Is it only me who feels bad for Nuea? He is the only one who doesn't know the wedding is fake. He likes Lom, but…
my exact thoughts.
before i rant i want to say that i find Nuea and Lom cute and i do see the chemistry. The GL couple is also a feast on the eyes.
On feeling bad for Namnuea, he doesnt just love his job as a wedding planner - at this point this job IS what defines his core being because of the satisfaction, enjoyment and identity he materializes from it. He keeps emphasizing that no matter which wedding events he plans, the most unforgettable thing for him is the love between the bride and groom, and how they themselves will remember the day even if all the guests forget.
What Lom and Yiwa doing is essentially trampling upon his pride - and if i may add - taint it with their lies because Nuea feels like he'll be a homewrecker or at least someone who participated in a wrongdoing. If Nuea has any maturity, he would do well to stop and leave this project to someone else. I'll feel sorry if Nuea's innocent and pure love for his job (and life) gets twisted because of this.
Of course, this is fiction and the style/filters has shown enough that this isnt a drama that's meant to be steeped in reality. The cutesy camera language is the only thing that's keeping me sane cos it constantly reminds me to take this as a comedy/fluff. Still, when i put myself in the character's shoes it kinda sucks.
A lot of people complain about how Japanese and Korean BLs are too short, but at least they aren't meandering…
they are definitely going to pull a 'flashback' and tell us what Patts and Lomfon talked about.
and of course, Tai wouldnt know until the peak of the tension explodes and a fight occurs. what is Tai? a pretty vase to care for and look at?
editing is really off. I echo your sentiments on the waste of good acting, line delivery skills and good chemistry. I actually think the story shows promise IF it is properly edited/screenwrite-ed.
i also smell the GL coming, but it's just gonna be 2minutes as a consolation prize.
Anyway... was I the only one who found Minoru's jealousy exaggerated and meaningless? 🤔 I mean, by his own…
i was also confused for a moment cos i was like, didnt yall date for a year already? does this make sense?
then it dawned upon me that the gift was for them 'meeting' (not dating) for a year. And they only technically got together at new years', plus that period where Yutaka was learning how to deal with having important people in his life for the first time -----> which means they probably were only properly together for like a few months at most?
the amount of insecurity that Minoru has makes sense cos people in love always see themselves as smaller/of less value than the other party, until that other party comes around to affirm said person via actions, words, time. To add on, Minoru already feels 'useless' compared to Yutaka cos of Minoru stopping his studies while Yutaka was already a 'proper' working adult.
i want to take this time to mention that in korean shows, the common trope is that the
- 'handsome/pretty/hot and popular girl or guy that everyone wants to be together with is falling for normal commoner me, i feel so special' [which i appreciate and like cos korean production values are sky high usually]
but in japanese plotlines we commonly find - 'two normal common persons who see each other as the brightest stars in the galaxy'
hopefully, with this event, Minoru learns to trust and have assurance in Yutaka, that this dazzling shooting star in Minoru's eyes will continue to fall quietly next to him, despite how normal he feels about himself - unbeknownst to Minoru, Yutaka feels the same and always wonders how in the world does he deserve such a blessing.
that scene where Yutaka Minoru and Tane were randomly eating those grenade rice balls at the edge of the door without a table or a chair? --> we may not see it , but that, my friends,
is truly their dining table together (bokura no shokutaku).
He has his back to Tai and she is facimg him. As a pro-drama watcher, she saw Tai approachimg and kissed Patt…
I'm into the show because the premise feels interesting, but the draggy and overly-intenyional editing keeps screwing it up. I feel like I'm being treated as a goldfish with 7second memory.
Not to mention the overly artificially 'produced' vibe they use to strongarm viewers into feeling "YES THIS IS A ROMANTIC MOMENT'.
i think the main actors deserve more trust, they're pretty good in portraying emotions and expressions.
And lastly, bugs/lazy writing in the characterisation and plot.
I'd still watch the show cos i have grown fond of the premise and chemistry.
Let's hope the remaining episodes don't screw it up

this is giving me Ploy and Vee feels from love mechanics - but there was a long delay for Patts to have pushed her away (it could have been a dramatic delay for the audience but in real-time it was half a second - but we'll see).
adding to the negativity.. the joke is, the source material actually had some really good content to be adapted…
I might be wrong, but seeing the director's past works, i think it has got to do with the screenwriting. Either that, or the director has a really hormonal cycle of producing shows..(for lack of a better description)
Negativity incoming if that's not your thing... I usually don't shy away from dropping shows left and right but…
adding to the negativity..
the joke is, the source material actually had some really good content to be adapted for screen.. i have no idea but when i saw that the screenwriter is the same as the one for 'star in my mind' - everything clicked. What more could i expect. Strong start and then lazy development, trying to be carried by actors' chemistry and camera techniques later on etc. One central issue being beaten so much there're hardly any twigs left on the poor bush. and then a SUDDEN switch of character motivations for the ending 2 eps.
i quite like boun and prem so it's kinda sad that they don't have other good shows that they main aside from this. Hope that more chances will open up in the future for them. the other actors' script/plot wasn't tight as well - the most interesting was Wan and Tul actually, but too many missed opportunities too.
lol.. gem seemed bored.. or tired .. like so close to yawning..but surprisingly fourth is a very serious quiet…
yeah, i dont think they are experienced in doing reactions (fourth said it's his first time)
not trying to be mean to the channel owners but the large age gap between the hosts and them did not help - thai people have quite a strong sense of age hierarchy, so around their elders (more than a decade older, maybe close to two decades even) i guess they are much more toned down as compared to how they were on set with similar-aged people or people just slightly older.
Fourth looks loud but is quiet and serious indeed Gemini looks quiet but is actually the social butterfly ? it seems
😂😂 that forgetting chinzila was cutee tho !! And in next episode also Tinn will encourage gun 😌And yeah…
no bets needed that the holy chinzilla plushie and the cape will be merch at the GMMTV store. @JennyStuckOnThatRooftop can we also not forget that once again Tiwson wins best wingman award for setting up the plot and place for the boys all the time. he's the hidden MVP. (no Tiwson = no MSP)
I wish Win and Team had more screen time, especially considering this is a shorter series. I usually don’t mind…
yes to more WinTeam scenes/moments! im generally a fan of side couples if they are done well but at this point there's too many, and some pairings need more work.
i see more chemistry for 'A' and 'Bee' than with Prince ..
Me too. I can't really see what her objection to their relationship could be especially when she hasn't even talked…
agree with this. preview seems to suggest that she is sincerely doubtful of Xun An cos of his past with Ye Qiran + the legit concern for her brother's trauma disorder/issues. I don't think it's wrong for her to want some assurance and security for both issues - and perhaps she sees herself taking on the role of a parent to protect Lang as well. I just hope she doesnt go overboard - i think as long as it is clear that the two has shown that they have thought it through she would become a supporter immediately.
I love this show but the kissing scene was uncomfortable for me. It felt awkward. anyone else feel this? The second…
i think physically the blocking/position felt awkward yes - but the emotion delivery was right. It would have been better if Xun an's eyes were initially open (or open for longer) to show the 'shock', and then close to accept Bai's emotions.
the cameras for between us have officially turned off. they are done with the filming! https://twitter.com/BounPrem_TH_OFC/status/1594741042913644545?s=20&t=eSh5rcEkYJj0fgVZTDFbUQ…
all the best (i mean it) to the post production crew. It's really crazy to air the show when filming isnt completed, i cant imagine the amount of stress for the editors especially.
the original lines (mouth shape) of Su Yu was:
"the pillow isnt as soft as your ass"
(look out for the mouth shape saying 'pi gu', yes that means asscheeks in mandarin)

Not sure if im being overly sensitive. my 2 cents
