Okay so the worst dad of the century award goes to Pat's dad. So the best employee / ex employee / silent shipper…
so, Pat's Mom did know all of the truth right
im like rewatching the episode and in the 1/4 part she alluded to it during the conversation in the hospital. (saying it's all what the dad has put in Pat's head, i presume about Pran's bad character)
Not that she is to blame entirely since she's also caught in the middle of all these. but she did contribute to the rivalry and misunderstanding since Pat was young.
Friends, if you have a partner, let's make ourselves and our partners better people as much as we can~ open our eyes wide and not join in on destructive lies to those around us
I have the highest respect for Pat not squeezing himself into Pas business and supporting all her choices. I’ve…
to add on, and that Pha came out to Pat and was sincerely concerned that Pat would be upset/affected since Pat used to like Ink - Pha did so not to get Pat's approval, but to settle Pat's emotions (if any) on this. All turned out well since Pat was okay but Pha did not know that beforehand and came to Pat despite her uneasiness.
We can see the trust and love in this sibling relationship
I felt bad for Pran. He pushed him aside like he had no regard for Pran
and when Pran returned home his fears surrounding his mom's rejection, anger and disappointment materialised as well.
Moved by Pat's boldness at the mall, Pran started from the small steps of bravery (admitting to mom that they 'aren't friends' but something more) and straight up courage coupled with frustration when he declared that they were boyfriends
This is the Pran who hid his feelings for years out of fear and disappointment that any relationship with Pat wont end up well.
Something more lighthearted at the start of the episode: The 'engagement procession' at school of architecture..
Pran definitely planned it ahead right? Wai and gang + The senior was planted as well. It was a 'revenge' for Pat earlier on when he asked Pran to declare his love for Pat at a common school building or something
Pat tried to plead midway but Pran lured him in like a master fisherman (chinese idiom)
Also, engagement ring was implied/mentioned twice in this episode!
25,000 comments. I will say it again and again: Bad Buddy is really a series that truly deserves all the love…
just curious, what were the general initial doubts and reservations when it was announced? (or did u mean at the first episode)
i was hooked from 1st episode but had the general fear that it would be one of those series that has good setting strong start and ended up having #$%^&*( for plot development
Did Pran at the Beach she was going to make Pat declare his love - what was the quote?" I'll make you get down…
come on, we gotta have that Pran box of memories revealed somewhere soon! and then some hidden stories from Pat's end (him running to pass Pran the guitar is one already)
then once and for all we (the audience) can know who fell in love first though PP would deny it all
I understand that some people really didn't like Pran's mother's way of dealing with things, but she was a victim…
agree T.T
even Pran was 'flawed' in the sense that he got emotional and spoke harshly to his mother (cant expect him to be more mature than mom here right, at least not now)
The way the characters are written makes me believe in them, that they really exist.
a side note the scholarship thing between Pat's Dad and Pran's Mom. the teacher/person-in-charge should have given it more thought and care??!! like obviously the dude who told you this info had a conflict of interest..
age rating 13+ is what's stopping us >.< i hope creativity is used to still give a good experience while keeping within the legal boundaries (maybe skirt it a little please~)
I felt bad for Pran. He pushed him aside like he had no regard for Pran
and the fact that Pran was mature enough to ask Pat to go along with his Dad and Mom back home to communicate properly - despite Pran himself feeling emotionally attacked, drained, and in fear. (did we all see Pran's tear rolling down)
Pran knew the right and wisest thing to do then, even if it meant that he had to suffer being alone for that moment, and be scared that THIS moment might be the last time he can meet Pat. (irrational fear)
not sure if im overdramatising it by throwing my understanding of Pran's personality in this situation
Maybe Pat will let him know about it later. Still doesn't justify his mom's action towards Pran.
agreed. i feel for Pran too but his words were also hurtful to his Mom (even if they carried element of truth). But of course it would be unfair to expect Pran to be more mature than his mom at this point in time.
i have the answer to this! the team had to stop halfway and recalibrate the filming cos of covid measures changes, so some parts were filmed quite far apart from each other - u can tell by the hair hahah
think P'Aof mentioned in one of the reaction/recap vids
and he's so young - hope he finishes his education well and gets to his dream of being a director too (ohm mentioned in an interview that nanon skips too much school cos of work hahah)
Another very intelligent approach that I found in BB is how p’Aof made side/supporting characters that aren’t…
just wanted to ride on your post to mention that the cast for the parents are really good?
very natural and expressive/detailed acting. It's not awkward at all and very believable. Esp Pran's Mom and Pat's Dad - are they like super veteran actors or what.
Scenes of Pran with Pran's mom screams theatrical energy being thrown and received well via their line delivery, non-verbal expressions and eye contact.
Okay guys, now I scrolled through twitter for an hour. I had nothing better to do. So ... this is much bigger…
so the thing is, they're actors right.
They're free to have their own relationships out of the show, and also both of them are very open that they love each other as friends/soulmates? and also in an interview Nanon said Ohm flirts actively and a lot with people but can't say more in front of the camera lol.
i dont really get the shipping fandom thing so i guess im not on the same wavelength. What about actors/actresses who are married and play as a couple on screen with another person? everyone readily accepts it right.
Isn't shipping meant to be a fantasy thing and not like, play sims and dictate romances and outcomes..

perhaps they had more important scenes that day and the crew could not afford to have a Nanon with a swollen face

to sum it up, it's a mess

can only depend on the fanfic wordsmiths
