Gonna sound like a hater but I'm so glad I'm not alone here who feels this way about Alan Yu. I'm sure he has redeeming qualities that keeps him around and producers working with him, but how he is still cast as lead series after series is a complete mystery. He is one of the most uncharismatic and flat actors I've seen objectively speaking. There are dozens of talented and good looking actors/actresses that could use this guy's luck

Yan Yi was dedicated to clear any misunderstanding between them even when she hurt him over and over again without giving him much of a chance. She felt extremely betrayed and emotional which I get, but it shows a lack of trust in him and impulsiveness on her end . Wang Er did withhold the truth partly for selfish reasons but even then he tells her it's not in Yan Yi's character to do something like this despite the apparent evidence and suggested she investigate further. Wang Er & Yan Yi were never friends, so when even the enemy 'vouches' for your man, ya know he's probably better than that.
