Lee Byung hun is one lucky bastard. After being involved in numerous scandals across various issues he decided…
Time and time again, men can bounce back scandal after scandal, and even star in career highlighting works like nothing happened. While female celebrities get cancelled if she's on her 4th relationship. Speaks volumes of gender double standards in Korea
I just opened Twitter and got bombarded with Park Sunghoon sharing a parody of Squid Game but it’s p*rn tf
I felt bad for him before simply being hated on by the masses for his The Glory villain role. Now he has a chance to redeem his popularity and he makes his own bed like this 🤦♀️
Ding Yuxi by far stole the show in this drama. He isn't just a pretty face, but proven himself to be a phenomenal actor. I'd be really surprised if he isn't nominated for an award for his role here
Just finished ep 2...sorry but does this get better? This came highly recommended to me, and I hate not giving a proper chance but I am just not getting into the story or the leads at all
I dont care what anyone says S2 has been a ride! With some really fleshed out characters and development, including those of other roles like the workers. Sung Hoon's Hyun Ju is my favorite new character in S2, while I am rooting for the downfall of TOP's Thanos character (and his lil sidekick) every chance I get.
As somebody said in review, this show is good but they left out all the juicy details from the novel. Obviously,…
Personally I am glad they left out the juicy details you mentioned. ALTHO I feel like the audience was owed at least one good passionate kiss scene from the leads 🥲 Lol. The built up tension, longing closeness, emotional intimacy (albeit the lack of physical) only added to the amazing chemistry.
If I say THIS is the dark and edgy assassin romance mjty wanted to be but kind of failed they'll boo me but I'll…
Surprised this was low budget to be fair! I mean the choppy editing and shaky camera work at odd scenes gives it off I suppose..but BUT the amazing art direction and set, no crap CGI.. more than makes up for it. I was in for a visual and storytelling treat. This is an amazing production all in all, and I cant believe it's been sitting on my PTW since 2018. You know it's quality production when it passes the test of time.
this deserves a higher rating. 😭 still one of my favorite dramas. it was an emotional rollercoaster but the…
This drama scored a 7 on Douban, passing the vibe check with the ever so picky Chinese audience. Mind you, Cdramas with 8+ rating on MDL, typically score below a 5 on Douban. So the drama is overall a success :)
While I loved the depth, complexity and layered personality of Gong Zi, I have a hard time understanding the GZ and Wan Mei ship across the internet including MDL.
That man puts his own agenda and motives first, and while undoubtedly developed moments of setting that aside for sake of WM...the act of selflessness, mutual consideration, and honoring the one you supposedly love, remained largely amiss til the very end. He was hoping to control Wan Mei's love or into loving him, while drawing the line often as to where he could implicated.
Hence, his self centered approach to his love for WM was met with the only fate it deserves, an unrequited one sided obsession..
In stark contrast, Chang An, while does not always agree nor support Wan Mei's endeavors, understands making sacrifices for the one you love doesnt always have a place for reason and accepts the gamble with possibly grave consequences for himself. Where Gong Zi retreats into his boundaries of self interest and protection, Chang An fully crosses it in his love.
