One question totally unrelated to the drama but suddenly triggered by it: I don't know the rules of subbing but why do they include "upbeat music" "grunts" etc in subs? It it a timing sync thing?
When I first saw Seon Ho in strongest deliveryman I fell in love with him. Not just his handsome face but also his charming personality, brilliant smile, and the most natural acting ability. This is my 7th drama of his and I just keep falling deeper and deeper. And like Hye Jin said in her confession to Du Shik, now I feel my heart will explode. I am so happy that this amazingly talented dude is getting his well-deserved recognition and praise worldwide with this drama. Hope he never stops soaring! All the best to him.
Okay... enough of me getting emotional and dropping all the cheesy lines here. Gonna go rewatch Eulachacha Waikiki 2 and You drive me crazy. I had a great time with the drama and all your comments♥♥
It's really heartbreaking that all bad things happened with Do Shik were accidents and he was a victim too but still everyone (including himself) blamed him for them.
Can’t agree more. Love his character too. Hope to watch him in a lead role soon!
Have you seen Once Again? It's a 100 episode (50 episodes just broken into 2 parts each) weekend family-drama. He is the lead of the second couple. I fell for him from that one. He's just awesome! Then of course was Youth of May but he's not the lead there.
Most users have low- rated this drama because NB didn't have a character development and till the end she was…
I haven't read the webtoon but what i got from your description of it is the Webtoon writer showed JE's character dislikable and I appreciate that presentation because that's realistic. If you come out of watching or reading a character like his and a relationship like theirs you are not supposed to feel butterflies in your stomach if it's successfully and realistically depicted unless you are in that relationship in those moments where you are smitten by it and can't think rationally. As a third person watching it happen to my friend i'll suggest her to come out of that relationship stat. But the drama tried really hard to make jeon likable and gave the relationship a romantic smokescreen.
But I respect people's different opinions of liking everything about it. It's not the viewer's fault that the script and the direction were indented to get exactly this reaction and successfully got it. It just shows how the director and writer perceived the relationship and JE and decided to change the original presentation and honestly I have no problem with the intention of giving JE a redemption arc but I just feel it was not told well (again, could be for the lack of episodes). And yes the part that Nabi needs to find herself first before finding love in someone else. If they ended Nabi and Je together but kept JE as the Webtoon "trash" and ended it on a cliffhanger of a relationship that'd have been okay for me too (even though I hate ambiguous, indefinite and open endings). It'd have worked for this story in a realistic light. But the fact that it's not shot and told realistically yet trying to convince so is a bit...
P.s. I am with you on being glad about people liking JE not just because of SK. I feel the writer altered the character for JK to bank on his current popularity and gave him the girl because he didn't get her in Love Alarm. And I like that LA's writer was smart and daring enough to go ahead with their initial decision of not giving SK the girl just for fan service. I respect that.
p.s Thanks for the heads up
