The trailer showed up on my yt page today. Guess they know how i have turned a 150 year old silver witch waiting for this drama and to see Tae Joon as an ML. And to reward my time and patience they even got him the amazing Choi Soo Young as FL. I mean, I can't... just... so emoT-T. Thanks peeps! My loves! Hope you make it an amazing show!♥
Joo Won is seriously getting on my nerves. I get why he's suspecting everyone and in any other drama they all could've totally been partners in crime like a little town of psychos and because i am seeing from a wider perspective i can understand that they are good peeps but since joo won doesn't have our perspective he's incapable of making a straight judgment. I understand all these but i am still hating him with a vengeance at this point. Oh I so Effing LOVE Jingoo! And also why is he looking so hot here? Ridiculous!
Note: This opinion is mine and mine only and no one other than the show itself has influenced it and so it's pretty normal that it may be different from a few or a lot others' or everyone's opinion because we have unattached minds that don't work as a hive (isn't is awesome!)
Review or whatever: It was so disappointing that i dropped it at episode 12. Was really looking forward to it for the time travel element and Jo seung Woo. Firstly, the story seemed to have the potential of being intriguing which somehow it wasn't for me. There were a lot of events that delayed the rush of it. I thinks its the arrangement of the events that was not done as interestingly as the story was to make me invested in it. I wish they didn't have the love story, it took away from the thrill of the mystery and its unravelling. Every time there was a sappy romantic something happening, i ffed and misses out some plot part probly. But i was too indifferent by then to care.
ML-- I think this character didn't need an actor of JSW's caliber. Any other decent actor who's not as experienced and talented as he is could've done it, not as good as him maybe but then again it didn't need that good. A self-made, rich, smart, a little callous to stuff, pretending to be flirty, tortured and guilty inside hero dude saved by the realization that he can manage life without being a total @$$ from the love or bamboozling of a heroine from the future. Hmm... where have i seen a million variations of this type minus the girl saving the boy (which was awesome btw and the best part of the show) and the future part? JSW could've sleepwalked through this character, but since dude's a sincere pro, he didn't. But still he probably needed only 20% of his mojo to play the role and still it was this fine. I see waste of talent and experience, but he probably wanted to chill this time and thus took this easy relaxing performance that needed his energy just for the stunts. So i respect his decision because even the most talented actors need to have their chill roles i guess. It reminded me of his earlier adorable cute-smile loverboy roles. He was so cute in them. He may have wanted to relive them despite the plot, idk, whatever. Love to him♥ I'll rewatch stranger.
FL -- I never liked PSY's acting until Alhambra. And then she totally impressed me in Alhambra and all my disappointment on knowing she is with my favorite Binnie in his project after his long long break dissipated and i was happy and Alhambra became one of my favorite dramas. So this time i was not as disappointed as i was at the time of Alhambra upon finding out that she is in this drama. And she didn't disappointed me here. I liked her. And her character was the only thing that i liked and that had me going till episode 12. I am also impressed to see her selection of the roles these days. Even when the drama wholly is falling apart for me, her character sticks. I mean just because she's PSY and has always done romance in dramas, should she keep on getting characters that must have a romance no matter how unnecessary and disruptive to the story it is? Here she was kicking @$$es, flipping faces , taking names and being awesome and then bam she is in deep time-transcending love with dude she met 2 minutes ago. If they were so life threateningly eager on a loveship they could've shown a friendship with a forecast of romance that won't be shown in the show but imagined and edited into YT music videos by shippers because some things are best enjoyed when not shown explicitly. There have been so many ships like these floating around in the dramas with stories which are not hellbent on inserting a romance in a mystery or thriller, etc. (I am watching beyond evil and i have watched strangers)

I have no understanding of how all the arrangement of cutting so few episodes can save them a lot of loss and how much loss they could have incurred had they let the story finish at its 16-episode pace, because i am dumb at number stuff like these. So, i kind of wished in a sappily emotional i-so-love-this-story-that-i-could-die way that what if they could have just let it have its original time with worrying just a little and not a lot about the money value and instead the value of the that faction of the audience that wanted to watch the love of two people, one of whom is healing from loving a girl one-sidedly for a quarter of his life and then trying to recover from her death and the other falling in love with someone else's love even before loving the actual person in love, mature a little slower than in one episode (not exactly one episode). Also the value of the ones who made this whole drama so beautiful that is everyone involved in the project. I know they (the drama people not the channel people) did an applaudable job trying to show the journey of Ha Won's heart from Ji Su to Seo woojin as delicately as possible for in the available episodes' time, but i wished for a slower course. Just me. You see, i kind of naturally dislike slow pacing in dramas except when i surprise myself and become adamantly for the same slow pacing. I am weird like that.

Has he done something seriously bad? Why isn't he getting any main lead roles since 9 kms? I think first romance too was shot earlier and released in 2020. So he technically has no new ml roles since 2019. T-T
