she was literally scared of him in the novel, even dreaded being in the same room as him. how is this stuff even romantic in the slightest? and it's strange because cnetz eat this up somehow. i saw so many comments on xiaohongshu as to why he is not forcing himself on her by taking so much time and calling him too soft and a 'loser'. maybe this is why the novels keep rehashing this sexual abuse in the name of romance. it's genuinely bizzare.

i have only read a few chapters but it's genuinely one of the worst things i have read in my life. people hyping up that novel and calling the drama too tame either are reading something different or have some god forbidden kinks. it's crazy how that fuckass novel and the abusive protagonist is the same source for this wonderful show and a very well written respectful male lead.

i just read some of the questionable chapters of the novel and it's genuinely appalling to see people defending novel wei shao and their "intimate scenes" specially in the discussion topics. she literally resists him during the act by closing her legs and asks him to stop multiple times because of her pain, and is relieved when they are interrupted. this is textbook sexual abuse. i am confident drama wei shao would not disappoint me like this but i am still waiting on tomorrow's episodes.

why are cnetz so strange about this show? i use xiaohongshu and almost every comment under the videos seems to be complaining about how they are not having sex fast enough?? so many of them joke about that making wei shao drink that potion again which is absolutely pathetic. we are seeing two people connect emotionally in a beautiful way and learning to trust one another, and wei shao is giving her all the space without forcing her into anything she wouldn't be comfortable in, and some people are only stuck on the physical aspect of their relationship ://

every episode has been better than the previous one so far and it's lowkey scaring me if they are about to fck up in the end (please please be good till the end😭)

wei shao is truly the "me and my girl don't argue she just tell me to shut up and i do" kinda guy.

finished in one setting. this was an absolute delight idc what y'all say. the fights were whimsical and fun and the overall tone was light compared to the usual bully/action shows we get. i am a big whc fan but not every action show has to be dark and gritty in order to be good. also, sieun and gamin would be absolute besties because gamin would follow sieun around everywhere to ask him to join his study group and gamin's goofy ass would have broken down sieun's walls too. need some good crossover edits between my goats😭

suho sieun are each other's first love and canon wrdgaf what anyone says and or if it makes anyone "uncomfortable" like😭

script issues aside, park jihoon the best actor that you are!! ate up this role like his life depended on it- be it his physical acting or the eye acting. his facial expressions in the last few minutes where he portrayed all sorts of emotions with his eyes in just a few seconds had me stunned. he needs to sweep the upcoming award seasons.

you are entitled to your opinion but calling him just a pretty face is objectively wrong. i haven't seen his other shows but his performance here is beyond marvelous, one of the best in any show i have ever seen and a kind of performance rarely shown by k-actors. maybe romance isn't his genre, but he is clearly a stupendous actor and has a bright career ahead of himself.

i feel like i might be the only one with this opinion but i personally felt baku was supposed to have this very intimidating aura which even the union leaders were very afraid of and ryeo un just didn't have that, if you understand what i mean. but maybe it's more of the scriptwriter's fault for not giving his character a lot more depth which is why he came off as a bit superficial and with a good script, ryeo un would have aced that intimidating and scary persona. nonetheless, his performance was still enjoyable.

mdl hates anything and everything so i'm gonna wait until i finish this to form my own opinions rather than forming any bias. although i know if nothing, jihoon will eat in the acting department as always.

exactly. cinematography was great but the storyline was not gripping at all. i wish i got the tbt hype but unfortunately i was bored as hell and had to drop it.

the injury plot is giving an ick though and her team mates are really annoying.

only 4 episodes in but this is so so cute😭. also the actor has one of the cutest smiles i have ever seen. taejoon reminds me of joon hyung from weightlifting fairy who is my favourite male lead ever. their dynamics and the show in general is also similar to wfkbj which i am loving. hoping this doesn't disappoint in the future.
