mind you he isn't even a real actor but a rapper lol. acting a bit goofy in a show is way different from what was required of sang yan in this show (which is way closer to his real personality btw).

it makes me mad that the only show and actors who got mainstream award shows recognition are the squid game actors. they were alright but you cannot tell me what jihoon did here isn't heaps and bounds ahead of whatever jung jae won his emmy for.

oh wow is this on pace to become the first drama to crack 9.3 on this site. at this pace i won't be surprised if it even hits a 9.4?? don't think any show is surpassing this for several years to come

oh it's been constant for me so i just assumed the drop was because of verified ratings. hope it's fixed soon though! also the sight might be glitching because of the large activities on tangerines.

netflix hasn't translated the episode titles at the beginning and end of any of the episodes which i feel like are so crucial to the storytelling. can everyone watching on netflix please report missing subtitles (https://help.netflix.com/en/node/104515) so that hopefully they are added soon😭

man what has this show done to me. i am trying to watch other shows but i can't stop thinking about this one. this is unprecedented level of brainrot. PLEASE LET ME MOVE ON TFF😭😭

honestly if this was any other ship, the weak points would have detrimentally ruined the overall impact of the show as for my personal enjoyment. i rarely give any show a 10, and objective flaws definitely affect my ratings. but they gave me everything i wanted from a good romance so i am willing to ignore it just this once.

a perfect show might not exist in theory, but i believe some changes would have taken this to the closest a show might be atleast for me. i think it really speaks volumes about sangyifan as a ship because despite most of us not being interested in anything not involving them and the show diverting from them quite frequently, they have managed to create a lasting impact in the mind of viewers to the point we don't even mind the dragged out plots.

only 3 modern cdramas have a 9+ rating here which is why i was surprised with the ratings specially after the soured mood here post the hong kong episodes. but like you said, the last four episodes truly turned the tide and ended the show on a satisfactory note for everyone which is why we left the show with a sweet taste in our mouth, which i am really glad for.

i have watched tens of kdramas after this but haven't been able to love any of them as much as i love this one. this is such a comfort watch for me and i'll always love it and carry it with me forever. thank you for existing wfkbj ♡

wow!! such strong ratings despite the flaws in the storywriting. the ratings would have been off the roof if the show was around 28 episodes with only sangyifan or the non-romantic plots involving only sangyifan as individuals. it may not be objectively a 10 but i am biased anyways so it'll always be a 10 for me, flaws aside.
