Title A Dream within a Dream Spoiler
Omg!! I am getting more and more frustrated -- super annoyed of Chu Gui Hong -- like you all said -- he's a pure stalker, annoyer, brainless, clueless, and stubborn all in-one! Like serious?!? Are you that blind to the fact -- that Nan Heng is not the bad one - that you make it out to be?!? Still holding on the grude/blame that Nan Heng killed your father -- and you are going out of your way to try to mess up/kill/frame Nan Heng in any way that you can -- including lying and fabricating evidences to make matters worst than it is! Wow, I definitely don't want Nan Heng to have a friend like him anymore -- Chu Gui Hong is pure selfish and doesn't nothing right at all. He doesn't even bother to go find out the real truth behind his father's death - rather just aim for revenge/revenge and more. Like really, if I could, I want to slap him silly until he sees the bloody truth. Unbelievable!

I hope that Nan Heng will rescue his buddy out - Shuangguan He and put him with Song Yi Ting immediately!! Song Yi Ting is also getting on my nerves too. Who is she to threaten Nan Heng with the secret he just told you about his secret identity?? Like excuse me?

As for Song Yi Meng -- Omg -- girl -- seriously -- you really are blind by everything and can't accept or see the changes that Nan Heng is working so hard to do - to make you see that he does love/care for you -- and will never kill you again (in your so-called dream world mindset). I want to slap her too!! This story of her stubbornness is getting super draggy and frustrating. Get together already?!? I am getting to the point where she really doesn't deserve to be loved by Nan Heng - even though the facts shows otherwise - Nan Heng really loves her -- but she is completely blind by it. Just stuck in her little world - not believing that things have been changing a lot around her - especially Nan Heng's actions towards her.

Nan Rui -- another annoying character -- but I can see he has eyes for Song Yi Ting still - and haven't given up on her either. sigh.

As for the King - never liked him one bit -- nor Nan Heng's so-called uncle - both are power hungry and straight up controlling/manipulating from beginning to end. The King/Emperor/Father constantly loves to put the blame on Nan Heng no matter what - making Nan Heng suffer the most throughout this whole story -- which at times I feel super sad for Nan Heng - cause nobody believes him or truly cares for him. At least him mom does at times - and those working with him (when he is the real Li Shi Liu). Other than those and so-called annoying assistant as Nan Heng -- everyone else dislikes him -- or just labels/stereotype him to be the "bad/worst" one - when he's not completely that way. As for the uncle -- he really is a two-faced person - but definitely not to be trusted at all. I bet you that the so-called uncle of Nan Heng's is the super evil one - unless there's still one other we don't know yet.

Either way, I wanna pour cold water on Chu Gui Hong, Song Yi Meng, and Song Yi Ting - they need a real wake up called to get matters in proper order again - especially towards Nan Heng! They're constantly accusing things about him too or want him dead -- sigh.

As well, I want to put the king/emperor and the uncle in jail! They deserve severe punishment for what they did to Nan Heng all these years - should be locked away forevermore or even more - like death... capital punishment for them both......

Ok, so just watched the next two trailers -- ep 23 -- Nan Heng/Li Shi Liu saves her from killing herself - unmasked - and obviously she looks surprised - but finally the truth behind who Li Shi Liu is -- will she believe it's him or deny that he is who he is - Nan Heng = Li Shi Liu?!? or will she run away saying he's lying to her and faking to be Li Shi Liu?!? Probably her pea sized brain will deny him that Nan Heng is Li Shi Liu. Even though Nan Heng prevented her from killing herself! As whether or not there'll be a proper relationship/trust/belief after this fact has be reveal to her will be another matter to be seen. Will she accept it or push him (Nan Heng) away from her once again?! If she does push him away from her, I'll be so mad at her - cause she's selfish and more cruel than Nan Heng, himself!

Then the trailer for ep 24 -- omg -- everyone wants to use him or try to destroy him - as Nan Heng said to his assistant -- both his uncle, the Emperor and Chu Gui Hong wants him either dead - manipulate/control him like a puppet to kill his buddy or admit everything and be killed by others. But I really like that fact at the end of that trailer -- that Nan Heng said he'll do anything to get out of all these mess and live -- and beat the others down too. I'm cheering for Nan Heng to have a better life soon - to win all the battles that are trying to ruin him completely!

P.S. Can't believe what I heard -- they confiscated his stuff? (Chu Gui Hong/or was it his uncle or his father/emperor?? - the ep 24)? I hope they didn't - -and that he can get away again. Hope that his people (as Li Shi Liu) can escape unscathed too along with Nan Heng, Shuangguan He and hopefully Song Yi Meng (that's if she believes and can finally trust Nan Heng -- otherwise, leave her behind and move on from her).

Song Yiting, before you go about threatening NH maybe remember you caused this whole fiasco in the first place?🙄
So true! It's literally her fault from beginning to end!

Sigh -- so, Jiang Tao Hua has real amnesia, it'll take her some time to recover - but even then, she still sticks with the 3rd Prince - b/c base on the trailer -- her maid/friend Qingtai has been stabbed and thrown into the water to die - whether or not she survives is another matter. Then, she goes and works for the 3rd Prince - in order to gain trust from him -- but hopefully what she does for him, will not hurt/ruin Shen Zai Ye's plans too at the same time. Will she remain trustworthy after she regains her memories is another matter to be seen. Will they get back together to bring down the 3rd Prince and the Empress of Baiyuen is another matter too. I hope she does and that she and Shen Zai Ye will reunite more powerfully together to protect the kingdom of Qi. Plus I do hope that there will still be love b/w the two and not just only a battle of politics and power, etc...As well as find the real cure to her poison once and for all -- not have to die -- like the other drama of Liu Xiu Yi's - titled "Kill Me, Love Me" - where the other FL of his ---which also contained a similar poison as to what she has here too - died from it and did not survive. Therefore, I am hoping and praying that Jiang Tao Hua can live with a happy ending story in this one with Shen Zai Ye.

I enjoyed these last two episodes as well, although the mountain scene was pretty poorly executed, I don’t even…
i think so too -- but -- I do hope she will not really push away Shen Zai Ye from her life -- basing on the trailers seems like she will in order to achieve her goal of exposing the 3rd prince and the empress at the same time. sigh. :( Now I feel sadder for Shen Zai Ye.

Yup -- too much filler and plain boring - and annoying...like I just wanna fast forward these two episodes - parts that I don't care to watch much of.

I hope so too - that Nan Heng will kill him too and not be hated by his mother about it.

Title The Princess's Gambit Spoiler
Ok, so the 4th Prince is saved - but she (Jiang Tao Hua) falls off the cliff b/c of the other girl (villain) dragging her over the cliff - Shen Zai Ye spared her -- didn't kill her - was trying to kill the villain. He did but before she falls over cliff - she drags Jiang Tao Hua too -- sadly she fell - but survives full of injuries and now wakes up with some memory loss. Sigh -- I don't know how Shen Zai Ye will do when they meet again after everything that has happened to her -- will she remember him or forget him? Will they be together? Can they still trust each other after this incident? Hmmm. I hope so based on the trailers... But will she survive from the poison that's within her caused by the Empress from her country or not, is another matter.

This latest episode 19 made me cry a lot after Shen Zai Ye found out the real truth of her background -- of what she had to suffer and go through in her life - that she has yet to explain to him -- personally herself. He had to find out everything about her indirectly after the incident of her fall over the cliff and him capturing the people that worked under the villain -but in fact was forced to do so - b/c of the Empress' poison in them too like Jiang Tao Hua. He now really regrets what he did to her and wants to get her back. Therefore, I hope that they will clear up the misunderstandings and get back together again.

update: just watched another trailer (ep 23) - she survives, has amnesia (real or not) -- sticks with 3rd Prince b/c of his connection with the Empress of Baiyuen. Refuses to get back together with Shen Zai Ye - b/c she witness her most beloved assistant/family member get killed in front of her by the Empress' people. She wants revenge for her - therefore, wants to keep Shen Zai Ye out of it. But to be honest, I want her to work with Shen Zai Ye to take the Empress and 3rd Prince down. I don't think she alone has enough power to do so. Especially when the Empress' has her brother held captive or stuck at border to protect their so-called country. Plus she's poison manipulated by the Empress too! Argh! Come on girl - I know you need to survive --and get your brother back - but you can go and try to take 2 strong people down by yourself! Especially now that you lost your most trust assistant - to death! Who is going to help you get inside info, etc without raising the alarm of the enemy to take you down?!? You should be paired with Shen Zai Ye to fight back together, not by yourself! Sigh.

Title A Dream within a Dream Spoiler
Argh... I am getting frustrated with Song Yi Meng -- who is still blind to the fact that Nan Heng has changed and loves her -- but to her, she still in the mindset of thinking he's going to kill her no matter what -- therefore, she'll do whatever it takes to kill him instead -- which is ridiculous and dumb -- and annoying. Like get a new brain girl -- besides -- the fact that she never really read the script in the first place and believe this and that will happen from the OS is outrageous and stubborn. Nan Heng has changed a lot for her -- and I feel sad for him a lot.

Next, I am getting annoyed with Song Yi Ting too -- where's her brain as well now?!? I thought she was a smart one - but that's totally untrue -- stubborn as a mule as well - can't take a "NO" for an answer and then goes and steal someone's personal belonging - the sword of real Li Shi Liu's! Unbelievably disgusting and still forces her way into Li Shi Liu (now the real one too - based on the trailer) - like get a life girl - I want Li Shi Liu (real want to threaten her and get rid of her) - super annoying girl! Who do you think you are to force someone to be in a relationship when clearly the other person doesn't like you at all?!?

Third, the super duper annoying uncle of Nan Heng - probably one of the worst villain-- trying to shove another girl into Nan Heng's life - when Nan Heng literally has zero interest in! Like get lost! Nan Heng said it time and time again - that it's his decision not yours (uncle-- villain) - why don't you marry her (Song Yi Ting) instead of him.

Forth - Nan Heng's father/emperor - still no liking him at all - abusive, selfish, ego-center, manipulator/blame game on Nan Heng for anything and everything that often times has nothing to do with Nan Heng at all!

Fifth - luckily didn't see the Chu Gui Hong guy -- he too is blind -- doesn't do his investigation properly about his father's death -- and goes on to blame Nan Heng for it -- hate him for years and constantly want him killed - despite the fact they were original best friends. Stupidity at it's finest.

Sixth - Nan Rui - the 18th Prince is super annoying too. Can't keep quiet for once whenever he's onscreen - like a chatterbox and has zero brains too.

Seventh - Nan Heng's direct assistant is annoying too ... gives commands and whatnot when Nan Heng didn't say anything at all. Chat like crazy and thinks like he knows it all.

Eighth - Shangguan He - he's the in-between type of guy - at times can bring humor and at times can be serious - but of course he fell in love with Song Yi Ting not as the fake Li Shi Liu. But of course Song Yi Ting is blind about this matter. Sigh. Hence why the mess they are in right now in both ep 19 and 20.

Nineth - thankfully so far Nan Heng's current mom cares for him and does many things to bring Song Yi Meng and Nan Heng together. She's going out of her way to create opportunities for them to be together. But so far -- Song Yi Meng - keeps on rejecting the idea of Nan Heng liking/loving her. Sigh - super frustrating with Song Yi meng at the moment.

Overall, I feel sad for Nan Heng and I hope that Song Yi Meng will change her mindset soon and come clean with everything to him. Also, I hope that Nan Heng will be honest with her about his other side of him as Li Shi Liu too. I so wanna give Nan Heng a huge hug right now, cause he needs it .

Argh! I hate him too!! I want him to die -- that annoying uncle -- like get lost -- it's Nan Heng's decision as to who he marries and Nan Heng emphasizes like so much - mind your own business. It's mine to decide who to marry, not him!

I hope that 4th Prince will not die so easily!! I want that manipulator who is controlling our main FL's life to die!! I hate her!! Selfish and then there is the so-called 3rd prince who wants to kill his own brother! Horrible! I hope that 4th Prince will be rescued asap! Then down the next few episode previews - the 2 main leads will have a fallout - b/c of distrust -- partly b/c of the main FL is being controlled by her country's so-called Queen's poison in her and the Queen taking away her brother too. Yet what's more confusing is that he (the main ML) shoots her off the cliff (in a way trying to kill her)?!? But by ep 22 preview trailer she's alive? He says he'll protect her and clean up her mess -- and to trust him?!? Confused @.@ Did he learn something about her that ends up changing his mind about her or is it part of his plan too? Honestly, I hope that there is some romance in it -- I kinda caught a hint here and there - at times, it feels like he has fallen for her and then there are times he's still cautious/weary of her too.

Anyways, I do hope that she (the main FL) will be honest with what's going on with her - that she's being controlled by others too -- and not what she actually wants to do -- to come clean with the ML and not hide anything from him -- I want them both to come clean with each other soon! These next 4 episode previews wants to make me cry. Please tell me it will get better soon.

I do hope for a happy ending -- or will the story end up like Liu Xiu Yi's other drama - Kill Me, Love Me -- cause the poison that the main FL has here is quite similar to the other story too. Feel like it'll not be a HE but another SE/OE too. Unless there's an antidote that will resolve her poison in her completely to survive till the end of the drama.

Title A Dream within a Dream Spoiler
Argh -- ok -- so Chu Gui Hong is mad at Nan Heng -- keeps on blaming his father's death on Nan Heng -- when Nan Heng straight said it's not his fault at all. I really feel sad for Nan Heng -- being misunderstood by everyone - esp his father - the emperor, then Chu Gui Hong and as well as Song Yi Meng. I really want to go and give Nan Heng a big hug and protect him at all cost. He doesn't deserve all these pains constantly left and right. He gets punish for everything - even when technically it's not his fault. From the marriage to Song Yi Meng - the Song Yi Meng's dad stupid hung up issue of not letting his daughter marry him - to Chu Gui Hong shooting him on the horse range, etc. Not once has he not taken the blame for anyone. It's like he's literally the punching bag for everyone -- the one to lay blame for every single thing that anyone does wrong! I feel it is super unfair and unjust for him. Why does he have to continue to suffer in pain since young till now and ongoing?? Honestly, he deserves to live a carefree life too - he deserves to be loved. But everyone treats him like garbage, an eyesore and doesn't even care if he lives or not.

I agree with Nan Heng when he was disguised as Li Shi Liu - when he went to see Song Yi Meng and be blunt with her -- "You clearly can see he (Nan Heng) has changed a lot and learned about his past. Plus you can see he is changing. Yet, you still selfishly believes that he will kill you, when clearly he will not. You honestly don't care if he lives or dies. You only care about yourself. You are actually more crueler than he is." (paraphrased not exact words). Then, he (Li Shi Liu/Nan Heng) left her -- hastily walking away with a sigh and looks like he's about to cry too. Like he literally wants to say to her -- you are blind to everything, selfish and heartless. You don't care if he'll get hurt/die at all. Zero sense of complete logic or understanding or willing to change -- very stubborn mindset that is dead set to believe nothing can/will change... But to be honest, it has already changed the moment she fell into the book/story/transmigrated into it.

To me, I want to slap her some senses into her and get her to change -- otherwise, whenever I see her, I will get frustrated with her too. Sorry not sorry, but right now -- to me, she's heartless and selfish. Her unwillingness to change for the better of the story is plain ridiculous. I feel that eventually she's not the one who will be killed/died - but Nan Heng -- probably by Chu Gui Hong's blindness to the truth - honestly, I hope that Chu Gui Hong will find out the real truth that Nan Heng didn't kill his father nor betrayed him. But the fact now is that he (Chu Gui Hong) did betrayed him when he (Nan Heng) was locked away in the Cold Palace - and the fire broke out there. He didn't help him at all. I can feel Nan Heng being hurt by him since they were young.

As for Nan Rui, you are really annoying towards Song Yi Ting. As for Shangguan He... he's fallen in love too with Song Yi Ting --- especially when he pretended to be Li Shi Liu (his boss/chief) while the boss was busy with Song Yi Meng - and got injured by Chu Gui Hong.

As for Nan Heng's assistant (not when he's Li Shi Liu) -- is getting on my nerves too. Such a chatterbox and what gives him to right to give commands to someone else - when Nan Heng didn't even ask for it. Sorry, but not sorry. He's getting on my nerves more than Shangguan He at times.

Anyways, overall I love this drama at times when there's some comic relief in it -- but then there are times where I really want to hug Nan Heng and show some love to him. I'm glad that his mom is supportive of him and caring too towards him. Plus those who works under him when he's Li Shi Liu. But other than that - those around him still have biases towards him and continues to mistreat him, I honestly want to slap them real hard. Especially the king/so-called father - who constantly hurts him for everything that he never does - but others did -- constantly put the blame on him - even when it's Nan Rui's fault or Chu Gui Hong's fault or anyone else's fault. He always put the blame on Nan Heng! I am so, so mad at his so-called father. He doesn't deserve to be his father at all! Selfish, ego-centered, uncaring towards him. Only shower loved or care towards Nan Rui or even at times to Chu Gui Hong. But not one single time does he even care or worry about him. If I were Nan Heng, I would completely cut off ties with him and leave the palace - live a carefree life and not get stuck in the palace anymore because literally palace politics, etc are super toxic. Nan Heng is being beaten left and right daily. Not one single scene do I not see him not get punished or even get praised/complimented by anyone including the selfish Song Yi Meng.

At the same time, Song Yi Ting has more wise words for her sister Song Yi Meng. She's trying to knock some proper senses into her -- but as usual Song Yi Meng sorta accepts it but doesn't put it into proper use at all. Literally Song Yi Meng is as stubborn as a mule! Like she still constantly believes that Li Shi Liu is gay - despite the fact that he (Nan Heng/Li Shi Liu) is trying to come clean with her that he's not. She constantly just assumes and talk over him - not one moment does she even bother listening to him ever. Her constant assumption/cluelessness/stubbornness isn't really giving her any room to grow at all or even change. Watching her character in the story is super frustrating. Why can't she stop talking over someone -- when they are talking and trying to clear up the misunderstanding of her ridiculous belief/assumption that he is gay -- when he's not?? Like I want to slap her hard! Stupidity at it's finest. She doesn't "get" it at all. She's so hung up to still believe he is gay no matter how hard he tries to prove it to her.

Really, not sure when there'll be really love between the two of them. I only see Nan Heng's unrequited love for her now. While she is still "stuck" in her "assumption" mindset that's unwilling to change or move forward on.

Therefore, I hope that it will not get boring in the latter half of this drama -- and hope to see some real change/character growth for many of them - especially Chu Gui Hong, her (Song Yi Meng) and others around Nan Heng.

Man, I want throw the emperor into jail now and the stupid 2 ML in jail again. They're both mentally messed up - so hung up on everything. As well as Song Yi Meng's father is kinda messed up. Add onto everything else -- the ML's so-called uncle is up to no good -- and behind all of these misunderstandings between the king/2nd ML (Chu Gui Hong) and Nan Heng isn't all that great either. The 18th Prince is really useless and a chatterbox that won't stop talking nonstop and eating too. And the ML's (Nan Heng's) assistant is too chattery too. So annoying. Li Shi Liu's assistant isn't all that great too but provides a lot of comic relief. LOLZ!

I just wished that somehow the 2 main leads - Song Yi Meng and Nan Heng will resolve their misunderstandings soon -- Besides -- even if the story was to steer back on track again -- with her perception in believing that she'll die/killed -- but in actual fact she can't die -- b/c the so-called scriptwriter in the story has been preventing her death many times with Nan Heng saving her no matter what he tries to do "to kill her" -- and as well, Nan Heng by now has already fallen in love with her and trying so hard to let her see/understand the real truth of his past - not what she "so-called believe/understands" just before she fell into the book/story. To me at this time -- she's half-heartily starts to understands, but keeps on denying what is the truth presented to her. Many times I see her, I just want to slap her awake and get her to think things properly - not based on what she "read/thinks" she knows about Nan Heng.

Honestly, if I could, I want to give Nan Heng a humongous long hug for him, I would do anything to protect him and support him, Not hurt him - like she's doing -- I know in some ways at the beginning he has tried to hurt her -- but after so long being around him, you'd think she would change the way she looks at him -- but no. She's in so much denial constantly and to me it's getting me super frustrated with her. Come on girl -- change for the real better and stop pushing him away from you. She really needs more real character growth/development/change soon. To see who Nan Heng is really is - to stop misunderstand him and to stop stereotyping him all the time.

Nan Heng deserves to be loved too. He has lost his lack of trust/love from the people he assume that should love him - his father/emperor is the worst one of all -- then his buddy/best friend...
Now that Nan Heng - disguised as Li Shi Liu has fallen in love with Song Yi Meng - he's slow beginning to understand his feelings/attractions towards her -- and working real hard to change her perspective of him as Nan Heng at the same time. Therefore, I hope their relationship will develop in a healthier way soon and not be betrayed by each other too.

Hoping for a happy ending to this story/drama (even though it's not finished airing yet)

Title A Dream within a Dream Spoiler
After watching up to ep 14 and waiting for the next episodes - I agree with most of you - Nan Heng is misunderstood all the way - they honestly don't know the truth and making him look bad from the beginning - including blaming him for killing the King's favorite wife?!? And whenever he did something - his so-called father always gives him insults, never ever praising him, looks down upon him, etc. Never ever showering him any love at all. Honestly, I feel like the king/emperor is super selfish in every way -- he only favors the 18th Prince - Nan Rui and Chu Gui Hong. Which I honestly still don't understand up until now why the King/Emperor hates him so much. Not once does he ever show an ounce of care for him - constantly even when Nan Heng was young, he (the King/Emperor) would never ever give him any praises either -- and also appreciates his mom either.

Therefore, in my opinion, I sympathize Nan Heng's actions in many ways. He worked hard to protect his country too for his so-called father/emperor/king. But somehow in the process of protecting -- someone is making him look bad and labeled him off the bat - that's he's the Lord of Death. Like wow, no wonder why the FL - Song Yi Meng misunderstood him too - she literally has stereotyped him too -- and still haven't taken to heart what he said before when he confronted her about it all.

Besides I feel like an eunuch is involved in messing up his life in the past -- cause in the rescuing scene - we get a flashback of him being locked in a cupboard when the fire broke out where he was and force to be trapped in the fire. So, I think there's a lot of reasons why he is mad and misunderstood all these years too. I really feel sad for Nan Heng in general - his past is what shapes most of his life - and his distrust with some people around him and only trust that ones that have been through the think and thin with him.

Anyways, I do hope eventually that both Nan Heng and Song Yi Meng can actually work out the misunderstandings between the two of them and that there be more to their relationship that it is right now.

My 2-cents thus far - don't hate me for it, thanks! Plus it's worth watching too - lots of comical parts in the drama - so I find this both funny and serious at the same time, which I like.

P.S. As for Chu Gui Hong - I don't trust him still at the moment -- nor the Prince 18 - Nan Rui too.
