The scene that really got me was the first kiss, that entire scene was SO beautifully done and soft and intimate and lovely. The whole finally being honest thing and just how sweet it all was 😭 Dgmw, Haram was pushy at first and absolutely irl the way he acted wouldn't be okay but it's one of those characters I'd hate irl but I adore on screen. Separating fiction from reality is okay sometimes He's such a sweetheart and is ultimately is very respectful. Jun has major trust issues but is also very sweet. It's not a perfect series duh but it gave me everything I wanted of it and I love it for that. Also, the poster of My Sweet Dear? Loved the callback, this company is great for sweet little shows (and I liked this one even more bc it felt more complete) I'll stop ranting now but again, I'm sad y'all hated it but taste is a wild thing lol Oh, but I want to shout out the soundtrack again. It's SO sweet and pretty. They have a ton of tracks by Yehezkel Raz and I love them all, plus all the other music. Gosh, this show made me happy

Episode 11 had me terrified we'd have a repeat of Enchanté where Force's character gets screwed over and Book's character doesn't take any responsibility, but episode 12 gave a proper apology and reconciliation followed by lots of really sweet moments. I was very impressed by Force, bc honestly I was really scared since I loved him as Akk so much that having such a different character type was worrisome, but he pulled it off so so well. I can now fully confirm that I love Force and not just Akk. Cher was,,, interesting. I was annoyed by him at first but then liked him a LOT, only to get frustrated with him for repeating the same conflict over and over. But he's way better written than Theo and actually cared for and thought about other people, he was just a little (very) stupid and that's okay. I think once I rewatch this, knowing that it ends well, I'll enjoy it a lot more. I also liked a lot of the side characters and they had some really hard topics they touched upon that I appreciated- moreso the stuff about gay men being stereotyped as predatory rather than the stuff with Tian. For that, I think it could have been done a little better. I see what they were going for, but it felt a bit too dark to just throw in as casually as they did. If they'd focused on it just a little bit more I think it would have been more understandable, but it kind of felt halfhearted to just throw out that her stepdad did that and then move on real fast. Either commit or don't include it. I'm not super upset by it bc again, I see what they were going for, it just could have been handled a little bit better even if I don't think it was necessarily handled poorly. Back to the stuff with the stereotype, it's iconic that Cher heard people being homophobic and said "I just signed the petition for legalizing same-sex marriage and I'm gonna send it to you too so you can sign it 🥰". Kill them with kindness AND get the signatures, love it. Three and Zo were adorable and it was fun to have an already established couple just for filler fluff, which I'm sure some people felt they lacked substance but it was done just enough where I really liked the characters and felt an actual attachment to them even with limited development. Circling back, episode 11 was ass. It was just really shitty writing to have the same conflict that had already been resolved come back again. I understood Cher's pov and can sympathize; he didn't feel worthy. So he should have had a conversation instead of just furthering Gun's insecurity of never being able to keep someone close. That was handled very poorly, but the apology was well done in that there was one. I was worried he'd just be cheeky and not actually say he was sorry for hurting Gun, but he did and that was good. Aoi was a bummer bc I really liked her until she made Jack tell them to break up only to switch around later and be like "Jack tell Cher to talk to the boss I hate seeing him sad." Again, poor writing. The cute moments were wonderful though and this as a whole is a huge improvement compared to Enchanté as a whole. Also the styling for Force was great. Did I mention I love that guy? Gun was a fun character and I love how ushy gushy he got by the end. I'm gonna end this here otherwise I'll talk forever. It's a cute show, end novel.

Even the synopsis is wild lmao and then all of a sudden we got Kan and Bar ? Didn't even realize this was connected to love mechanics 💀 as I haven't watched this idk how much screentime they get but if it's as much as they did in love mechanics then that's really funny imagine playing the same characters in more than one show and you're still side characters and people who weren't even in the original series get to be the mains 💀 edit: my fuckin bad bro ig these two were in Love Mechanics and I just completely erased that fact

I like ZeeNunew and MaxNat ofc but idk this just didn't add anything new for the characters? Only Syn and Nuer felt like they needed more and it was a little bit sad that the scene they did get was just played for laughs 💀 like it was funny that Syn just kept accidentally fuckin Nuer up but since that was their only scene it was like,,, c'mon man let them have their moment.
