The flashback with Donghee with Hotae's mom made me cry 😠knowing he had an abusive dad is heartbreaking but I'm glad she was there for him and showed that he can love whoever he loves and she will love him all the same for it 🥹
Weak kisses but honestly I can forgive it with how wonderful the rest of the romance was. Seriously??? I got butterflies from all the cute little moments. I have a lot of thoughts bc this was really, really good and I LOVED the cast. Seriously, b1a4 was one of the first kpop groups I ever liked back in like 2015 so seeing Gongchan in this made me so so happy. I LOVED the characters. I've read a bit of the manhua and liked it a lot so I was excited to see the adaptation and I am really happy with how it turned out. The side couple was SO loveable, just as individual characters but also together. Also, they're all so ridiculously gorgeous it ain't fair. Shout-out to the stylists, they did a fantastic job 😠seriously so beautiful. Overall, despite the conflict making me feel like I was gonna burst a blood vessel, I really really enjoyed this series. The cute and sweet parts were too good.
This was hella frustrating at the beginning, my least favorite trope is someone getting blamed for something they didn't do and no one believing them. I had no idea how they'd make me like Taehyun after that beginning but they absolutely managed to turn him around and won me over. After all the trauma that poor boy endured it's understandable that he'd have issues with empathy since he probably shut down his feelings in order to survive. Anyways not time to psychoanalyze this character lol by the end I liked him a lot I also loved Dayeol a LOT. Seriously, both Jaehan and Yechan did AMAZING in this. Who tf cares if there was no kiss, they had great chemistry and it was very very romantic. This was way behind my expectations so ig I should thank the people who talked shit 😂 I was able to be very pleasantly surprised by how sweet and happy this ended up being. The end was a little silly with the timeskips and whatnot but I just suspended my disbelief and had a great fuckin time. Again, loved seeing these two in this, it's very cool to have two members from the same group acting together in a really lovely love story.
Bruh, why were so many people dogging on this 😠I almost didn't watch it cause SO many people were saying it's bad but it's really, really good?? Maybe it was bc I was expecting it to be awful but I genuinely thought it was wonderful. The acting was fantastic, especially Yechan. It wasn't perfect but it was damn good
This was SO beautiful. I put off watching it for awhile cause I was too excited and for good reason. It had so much emotion and love put into it. I could ramble forever about this because there's just so much depth and care that I feel went into it. Beautiful series, well worth the wait. Lots of emotional complexity but I'm so happy with how everything turned out. Also, Li Ming and Heart have one of the most beautiful stories I've ever seen ðŸ˜
Is there any episode where I can stop and be happy? Like they get together and are happy? Kind of that?
Kind of? Maybe if you stop at like the 10 minute mark on episode 8. That will have you miss out on a bit of the story, but they're happily together there :)
I was fully prepared for a devastating ending so I was pleasantly surprised. If I were expecting a happy ending…
Dongbaek said "I'll remember you first next time." and that was true. It's no less tragic than the beginning of the series where Dongbaek doesn't recognize Yudam. I think it could be redundant if they just showed it all again, as we see that Yudam feels that Dongbaek is familiar and feels attracted to him so there's a high chance they'll get together again. Obviously I wouldn't complain about seeing it all play out and end fully happy, but I'm content with the ending that's full of hope. Obviously there are some unanswered questions like wtf was up with Denis, and this show could definitely be explored in a longer series to fully flesh it all out, but this is excellent and I'm honestly happy. And I think it was very well made from the incredible music to the very captivating storyline and cool dialogue. Plus it looks beautiful. I am really happy I watched it all the way through and honestly thanks to everyone who said it was a sad ending cause you let me get a surprise when it wasn't lol
I was fully prepared for a devastating ending so I was pleasantly surprised. If I were expecting a happy ending I can see being disappointed, but expecting a horrible ending made me enjoy what it actually was a lot more. It was a very hopeful end in my opinion and they gave the perfect amount of information to assure that there's hope

Damn, I'm hella confused at the general consensus going around that this story was confusing. It made total sense to me and I really, really enjoyed it. There was some RAW dialogue in here that really hit and Park Jeongwoo delivered those lines so well omg. I love his voice, it's great.
Seriously, I've watched this twice already and upon finishing it the second time I wanted to watch it again. First…
I especially loved the proposal and wedding of the guests at the hostel. That was SO sweet. Oh and the scene where Neung was telling Palm about his book and then the subsequent symbolism in the sun bracelet as mlm couples were children of the sun?? So sweet! And I love that Neung had genuine character growth and became a very good person who you can tell will treat Palm right. Also the whole show I was rooting for Chopper to kill his dad, but him shooting his dad was even better cause my sweet boy doesn't have to deal with the guilt of killing his dad but he still made the statement. I could write for hours about how much I love this show. I highly recommend it but I can't promise y'all will love it as much as I do lol
Seriously, I've watched this twice already and upon finishing it the second time I wanted to watch it again. First off, shout out to the stylists, everyone looks great (especially Pond oh my GOD) but also I love the music, the cinematography, the setting, everything. It all brings me so much joy. It's well balanced with the angst which I love, it's not just stressful and sad the whole time.
