I love that it's not just focusing on the romance, even though that's definitely important, the familial bonds and self discovery are very prevalent here. I cried when Yamato's dad said "Yamato, thank you for coming to this house." That's such a beautiful sentiment. We see adopted children grateful to their parents and we see the parents loving them, but thanking him for coming into the family takes it a little further. I love the quaintness and the quietness to this story. Seriously, it was adapted so wonderfully. I love Furukawa Yuki and he did such a wonderful job bringing Mitsuomi to life π₯Ή and Yamato was wonderful as well, he really delivered on that cheerful golden retriever energy that's a bit much at first but so endearing once you get familiar with him. (his hair stylist did him a lil dirty but it's fine) Yeah, this is lovely. So glad I watched it. I love how the romance is a little understated and they don't have a ton of flashy moments and instead just build the relationship up quietly. I think it could have come off as non-romantic if they weren't careful but they pulled it off and it was very sweet. π What a comforting movie π₯Ή
ππ I was scared bc I love the manga and adaptations are always risky, but they really really captured the beauty and the sweetness of the manga. Seeing so many scenes that stayed so true to the original but bringing everything to life in its own way. This story is so lovely and it made me tear up at the end.
Uhmmm,,, what can I say.... We got some really good songs out of it? That version of Comedy in part III was gorgeous.…
It's short so like I don't feel like I wasted my time watching it but I won't personally do it again. Didn't really like the message or the takeaway some people had, tho seeing Jeff comment that he hated Mike too kinda shows that that's more the fault of the audience interpretation and that the show itself probably wasn't excusing his actions. I am in no way opposed to characters who do bad things and are painted to be sympathetic, you just gotta do it right. Personally, this wasn't the case here. Mike wasn't a sympathetic character who just made some bad decisions in a moment. He was just a selfish person who had to live with the consequences of his actions. I think Peem was also selfish, though. He's far more sympathetic, but he still knew full well that Mike was with Pear. Meen didn't deserve to be the target of his revenge just because he revealed the truth to Pear. And yet Meen should have gone to Mike and Peem before outing them to Pear. Honestly, the only blameless person in the whole situation is Pear, and I'm glad she wasn't apart of the equation with the hauntings lol she got out of that mess just in time. As for acting and cinematography, I'm not gonna get into my thoughts on that lol

GOD I'm gonna cry. This was so beautiful! and the soundtrack??? The use of The Story by Conan ??? That scene was so so beautiful and sweet oh my gosh. I have so much to say but I'm just so happy I will instead just go to sleep savoring this feeling π₯Ή
This was a ROLLERCOASTER and I did not expect it to be as dark as it was (yikes) but I really loved King and by the end their relationship was really precious. I'm glad Uea's evil mom didn't get some forgiveness or redemption arc, it's great the last time we saw her was crying in the street tho I do wish it had been a traffic heavy day. Seriously this show definitely needs multiple TWs but at least we got the bare minimum of a love interest who doesn't just retraumatize his bf. This will not be for everyone, even at all. I went in expecting it to be trashy and maybe a little toxic but surprisingly really liked King and Uea together. I could write a LOT about the stuff with Uea and his responses which I have mixed feelings about but I won't do that rn. Overall, I don't know how to rate this show π I simultaneously need everyone to see it and want no one to ever know I watched it. Specifically the cat ears scene. They really said meow bass boosted max reverb with high hats
I love Noey and the gangs fashion sense. Having them dress like greasers is such a fun choice and I love that…
Oh, I also love that Noey from the start was like "Thi you're in love with me." And not in a cocky flirtatious sort of way. He was just annoyed with it like "come on man I know you're in love with me but calm down." meanwhile Thi is just trying to not be there lmao it's one of the few ways to go about misunderstandings that's actually funny. Also, the one guy from Thi's friend group who kept flirting with Thi was hella pretty and I hope he found the love of his life. Also good for you Thi, having 2 very gorgeous people that like you. ALSO! Love the lesbians. I liked their characters before they met and then they got together and I was so happy. I've got a lot to say about this show which is a good sign! It's very charming. Even if Thi sucks half the time lmao
I love Noey and the gangs fashion sense. Having them dress like greasers is such a fun choice and I love that Noey is out of touch with modern stuff lmao (calling an airplane a spaceship is really funny). Also, Thiw is the real MVP that guy is such a legend. Overall, it was a very fun show even if Thi really tried my patience. Like everyone was saying, episode 8 is where it picks up and the finale is also really good. Ik 8 episodes seems like a lot, but if you don't take the show that seriously it's a fun time killer that has a good payoff. I'm not disappointed that I watched it. Again, I love Noey and his gang, they're great characters. I love delinquents who are just really dumb but have hearts of gold.
Seriously, this was so well made and I love the whole cast. The OST is really good too.
There were SO many wonderful moments I laughed so much and smiled so wide. Also seriously! Gongchan is so ridiculously cute π and Seowon is gorgeous π and and and ahhhhhhh
Weak kisses but honestly I can forgive it with how wonderful the rest of the romance was. Seriously??? I got butterflies…
Every time Wonyoung put his foot down and stood up for himself I couldn't stop cheering. So satisfying every time. From him saying he felt wronged and that it was fine if Taejoon was angry with him for lying, but if he was angry with him bc he thought he pretended to love him that he wouldn't stand for that; to when he stood his ground against the ex; to when he stood up to the shitty manager. Love seeing my boy being bold.
