There was an official post on Instagram with the Sep 2 BTS that nothing will be released on Sep 3 and 4. Likely because of national holidays and military parades scheduled in China

I am watching 3 other C Dramas, (LOZH, POB, and TFG), new RL reaction videos, and the new daily drops of BTS - which are honestly super fun and cute - and worth waiting up until midnight to see.

No, you mixed the day and year. The BTS starts with a table read from June 23, 2024. Day 2 of the Table Read is June 24, 2024 as you can see from the second set of BTS.

I am hoping more BTS is released on Aug25th and is June 24, 2024 BTS - would be fun if they released a full day of shots everyday until they complete.

Ummm it’s clearly June 23, 2024 based on the title of the playlist. They started shooting with two days of table reads first to go through the script.

Just click AutoTranslate in the YT video settings and then select English. You have to do it every time for each BTS video when it starts playing.

They had a falling out in the past, and CC has been hurt/damaged, and CC feels that his parents don’t accept key aspects about himself, so he acts distant. You will see this relationship change if you keep watching.

It took me 90 minutes to get through the table read - but so fun! I cracked up many times seeing how awkward the first day was - and how they reacted to the text, and the Director’s comments on what the characters would be thinking/feeling in certain scenes. GCY actor is MvP - hilarious all the time.

Initially, the snake dealer scammed WSW by giving him snakes filled with sand / their gallbladders removed - which made them essentially worthless. CC threatened the snake dealer and made him buy the damaged snakes back at full market value, thereby CC got his investment back and WSW got free money. The snake dealer realized by scamming WSW he pissed off the wrong person, so the second time he sells WSW high quality snakes that the dealer was initially planning on raising and selling himself in the market later - thereby basically eliminating any profit he could have expected that year.

I read somewhere that it was the Agency for Wang Shuo’s actor that had editing rights for the back-half of the show - don’t know if this is true but could likely be verified by looking at the credits. It the scenes were cut out of malicious intent (and not at the request of ZY and TXN agencies) then I hope they find a way to release a Director’s Cut…. Or just leak the scenes since it appears CJD does have the fdrive with all the files.
