You haven't seen a single comment about the dubbing? Everyone's complaining about it! And it's not that bad if you consider that it's dubbed in another language. Still, you get used to it very quickly, cause the story is sooo good. It would be a shame not to give it a chance just because of that.

I completely understand how you feel. It is just that this uncertainty about whether there will be a continuation really hurts, and we have been through it before with other equally great series like Stay With Me and The On1y One. I do not mind waiting for a second season, even if it takes a long time. What I cannot stand is not knowing whether there will be one at all. That feeling of being left hanging is what hurts the most.
I wish I could just stop hoping, but like I said, I cannot. So let us hope that this time things will be different, that the series will gain even more hype and that sponsors will come through for a second season.

I went through the exact opposite. I didn’t expect to love it, I just wanted something enjoyable to pass the time. But after episode 2, I became so obsessed with the story that I decided to read the novel. And that was it… I fell in love with the novel, their story, the characters, the series, the actors, everything. I became completely obsessed.
Having read the novel and seeing how the episodes were unfolding, I knew we were heading for an open ending. And even though I thought I had prepared myself, that once again one of my favorite series would be left hanging without a proper conclusion… here I am again, hurting and still hoping.
In conclusion, I envy you, because I couldn't protect my heart 😞

Oh, he was breathtakingly handsome in this episode. And he was incredible in every aspect. I was usually more impressed by Chang Xi's talent and how well he played his role, but after episode 9, Yan Chao proved that he's just as talented an actor.

You're right, we need to support them if we want a second season. There's no way they ended it like that without planning for more. That wasn't just a cliffhanger, it was a full setup for continuation.

Yeah, that was such a smart way to stage it. The emotional build up made the second kiss hit even harder, like everything just snapped into place at that point. And the way it escalated from shock into something fully mutual and intense was done sooo well! I'm gonna miss them so much 😭

Are we going to talk about THAT kiss??? Honestly, I don’t even care that we didn’t get a real kiss throughout the whole series (except for Chusan’s dream), because it all led up to a kiss like THAT!
So much emotion, so much desperation, need, and relief were expressed in that moment. I can’t even remember the last time I saw a better kiss in a series, it was perfect in every possible way 🫠

No, if I don’t see an official announcement I won’t believe anything. I can’t take another disappointment…
