The first half was definitely more enjoyable (the 100 days for the most part) and DO's acting was so subtle and…
i totally agree with you! The writer just had no idea how to tie all ends of the story together. The last episode was really random and kinda annoying to watch tbh. The cute chemistry between main leads was the key element of this drama but ending did not bring me any satisfaction whatsoever..
the plot is kinda boring. Usually, by the third episode, I would be hooked or at least interested to watch more,…
honestly... i feel like this drama is supposed to be kinda meaningless. I love good politics in drama and this drama really did not deliver in that department. It was totally made for people who like romantic cinderella stories and the actual plot things almost seemed like and afterthought. (I actually preferred episodes 3-9 over 10-15 lol). I would say that it is not overhyped but it's just that many people who usually don't watch historical dramas watched it and liked it because they look for different things than usual sageuk audience.
I think that the creators knew the drama will be success with DKS being main lead (he was good though) and with the story being Shopping King Louis vol 2 they knew people like this story so they just did whatever they wanted. lol
If you are looking for an epic meaningful historical drama i recommend Mr. Sunshine.
the writing was kinda messy and honestly... not so good ... but it was the cast and their overall chemistry that made the drama this popular and enjoyable to watch. Nam Ji Hyun and Kyung Soo were really great as main leads ♥!
I get your point. My last article too was based on the same dramas. But that is because I have only taken the…
i totally understand you! with these dramas you can be 100 % sure people have at least heard about them no matter how old these dramas are. but i think it would be cool mixing in 2017 or 2018 dramas that were popular as well. Maybe these dramas didnt make such impact in the long run but community still remembers many despite not watching it (and some people might discover something new!). just a little thought though. I enjoyed the article anyways :D!
oh my god. i regret so much reading spoilers from the japanese version lol. I am usually okay with knowing future stuff but this drama makes me reconsider my habits :'D
Is it good so far? I don't believe in ratings of ongoing dramas :)
i think it's cute and enjoy watching it but based on your rating of different dramas that are (imo) similar to this one i dont think you will like it that much (unless you like main actors)
This drama has quite some plot holes but it is the type of story where you don't mind them that much lol. The characters are overall good (i'd say this drama relies more on it's characters than the story tbh), chemistry is really nice and the scripwriter is obviously having a lot of fun with all those little jokes inside. 100 Days My Prince is a perfect guilty pleasure drama for me :D!
I feel like there is something very off about this drama... While parents (and 'parent mafia' LOL) + children + main leads are quite good, all spies and evil people are either terrible actors or not very well written. (Im Se Mi as a good spy woman is just not doing very good job. she just sticks out like a sore thumb.) I'm going to watch more episodes because i hope those positives overweight negatives but i feel like this drama has a potential to go terribly wrong. There is just way too many plot holes imo.
Poor main lead and her husband, they are such perfectly average people and they got into this terrible situation by accident. I pitied them so much in the 1-2 ep lol.
Is it good to watch even if am not a fan of so ji sub ?
it is nice! so far the begining is enjoyable and combines the spy /crime genre with slice-of-life family comedy quite nicely. Unless you really hate So Ji Sub there is no reason to dislike it! (Though i can see why some people might complain that SJS's stone face/perfectly neutral facial expression is kinda annoying lol)
