This drama was so b o r i n g... the story was literally a garbage - very basic, predictable and oldschool - and while chemistry between main couple and also between all side characters was nice, it wasnt good enough to be a saving grace of this drama.
I understand why some people like it a lot but how can this drama have such high rating is beyond my comprehension.
From a viewpoint of person who watched this only for SIG would you say it is worth it? I am considering doing the same but idk if I should really do it :D
I only watched 2 eps and while the first one was epic, episode 2 felt slow and a bit confusing with all the different…
It does get much easier to follow! First two eps are bit confusing but it will soon make more sense to you if you keep watching. The pace, however, gets faster only slowly. But at the same time, all episodes feel quite wholesome
how do you like last episode seeing koreans asking japanese trainees for help? The japanese trainees look like…
I honestly think it wasnt that hard to 'evil edit' that. It makes sense that jtrainees were struggling considering difference in korean and japanese idol system and they have to go back to japan for akb promotions even during training for the performance (which is ridiculous) but to struggle this much and give a bomb performance everytime? I dont believe that.
The thing is, mnet found something better than rigging the votes. In previous seasons they showed during live voting some trainees that were on/behind the cutline and they got voted in, in the end. All they have to do is to say "look! [Mnet fav trainee] is at 12/13/14/15 place right now, you better vote!" And their fans will vote them in. Final broadcast is going to be a wild ride and i cant wait to watch it live lol

You mean that one scene where juri helped yena with pronunciation? Loved it. This is how it should be - they help each other where they are lacking. But it is not the same "teaching" like i was trying to point out. They finally looked like they are both contestants, both on a same level.
The point of my previous comment was that Mnet cretates certain narrative in episode. I am sure that during the show several japanese trainees tried to take a lead and do something/help others for example Aoi during position eval or Hitomi during the first eval but mnet tried since the very begining to highlight and reinforce the narrative of less skilled japanese trainees and skilled/more practiced korean trainees. This storyline (plus whusple trainees) was showed into our face repeatedly and it got boring and untinteresting
Oh yes!! I am so thirsty for a good standard Twilight-inspired k-romcom. I still dont understand how koreans didnt hop on the vampire romcom hype train because i believe they could make a perfect cheesy but enjoyable and not-totally-stupid vampire story.
(Btw. I am just reading Simon vs. Homo sapiens agenda and i am so happy to hear that i am not the only one who does not like the writing)
Isnt it more probable that Ae Sin is about 26 years old? That makes the age gap a little bigger but still bearable.Either…
For whatever reason i thought that events in the first episode didnt happen that close to each other. I guess i should rewatch it. I felt Huiseung is little older than she is and marrying her before her 20th birthday would make sense as her origin is not clear and stuff. Anyay isg sometimes i feel like that math lady meme when im watching mr. Sunshine and im tryingv o put things into context and connect the 'clues' together :D
Idk why people are bothered by the age gap tbh. I was worried at first because I thought there's no way an unmarried…

Either way, the age gap is not as disturbing as one might think when you realize Ae Sin looks younger than she is (mix of naivity and actresses baby face makes her feel young) . Also in the history it wasnt unusual for older men to marry significantly younger women.
The premise is amazing. I've heard only positive comments about Jung So Min's acting, but I don't know if Seo…
He was good in 38 Task Force and Hello Monster so i guess you dont have to be worried that much. Also Reply 1997 was shot 5 years ago (wow, time flies!) so i bet hes not the same fluffy boy we remember. To me he feels like an universal actor and i think he will do a good job with such intense character (but i might be a little biased ^^)
it says that it has come out already????? still can't find it? I've watched the anime 3 times and it never gets…
It takes about 6 months for japanese movies to be released on DVD after theatre debut. Then someone needs to sub it. I am guessing it will be online around september/october
Can someone please explain the scene where Hui Seong is dragged by Eugene and Dong Mae to the hotel room (on episode…
They both probably saw him walking around in the same suit Ae shin uses and limping around. Unfortunately, he doesnt know the whole truth about jemulpo incident so it is potentially very dangerous for huiseong to walk around like this. Eugene and Dongmae are very aware of it so they dragged him back to the hotel room so he doesnt make/get into any problems i guess
early episode dont really depict who those characters trully are, if you even have the slightest interest trust…
Well i have already seen 6 episodes so i hope there is something that will change my perception of those characters. I am planning to continue watching anyways :))

Also I cant wait to see what the writer has ready for Jang Dong Yoon's character
Mnet outplayed us all.

It started like a cute office romance/cohabitation but even then it wasnt anything new. Last 6 episodes were absolutely boring.
