Well, everyone has different tolerance for acting and looks for something else in it. I didnt mean to say 'she is bad at kissing, therefore shes bad at everything' i meant it more like 'i didnt like her acting and those kisses were final straw for me'. Sometimes, bad kisses happen to good actors, but i didnt 'believe her' even in other moments. Wei wei could be interesting character but i dont think she managed to grasp it well. I enjoyed the story, not the execution and thats what matters to me.

I think the stars show only approximately how it is.. on the other hand i've noticed that i give lower ratings than I used to to the dramas/movies since the introduction of stars (not by much but still). I wonder if I am the only one who feels so impacted by such little basically visual change lmao. I need to find other hobbies i guess :D
Ah yeah... good old rating-induced anxiety. I sometimes get it and so I created some criteria to stay at least constant within my own ratings but with the update of MDL and addition of stars next to ratings... I'M even more nervous when I rate things :DD. While I am almost sure about my 7-10 ratings, shit gets confusing when I get to "average" and "below average" dramas. I decided that "6" = "average" but here it also means "3/5 stars" and... now I am starting to re-think all my lower ratings bcs... those average and below average dramas are definitely NOT worth 3* lmao. Anyways, I've decided to let things go for now but when updating rating won't move a title on your profile page to 'list updates' I will probably go back and will mercilessly lower some ratings :D. But I shall never change rating of You're Beautiful (9) and Hana Yori Dango (8) because these were some of my first dramas and I now know they are bad... but its a testament of my previous life of being drama newbie (and also being young lmao)

He was supposed to play the nerdy guy but he had some scandal shortly before the drama started airing so the production decided to use someone else because they were afraid his presence might have negative impact on the whole drama (AoY is aired on cable tv and doesnt have super high viewers rates)

I havent seen the u prince series so idk how it works but TvN's Drama Stage is basically a series of one episode stories that are not related in any way to each other (different genres, themes, production crews, directors, writers etc.). TvN picked those stories in competition and then they gave winning writers resources to shoot it.
As an avid gamer i really enjoyed the idea of the whole story plus it was all very well shot and everyone was so good-looking lmao.
I loved how main leads had absolute trust in each other but at the same time they were absolutely perfect which was little annoying to watch. I felt like i was watching two robots that are trying to fit in the human society and humans around them (that were very often really stupid) were trying to "prank" them. And the main actress is really bad at acting (those kisses were dreadful! Male lead was trying is best but she was just... standing there lol). Actually... many people lacked the acting skill imo.
Anyways... i pretty much binge-watched the show so despite my complains i liked it enough :D
I don't understand whhy choose a kpop idol girl for the main girl and not an actress? Being a kpop idol is meant…
I agree with you but often there are professional actresses who are just as bad as idol actresses. Lets hope Joy got that role for a reason. She was not /that/ bad in the liar and the lover, the whole drama was just badly written lol
