they better not tease us with failed "incoming kiss scenes" until the last episode, as they always do :p
i would love to see them have several heated moments lol. we know nam ji hyun can do that but it is hard to say if they let kyungsoo do that with his idol status and whatnot. i feel like they have quite good chemistry and it would be a pity if they kiss only in the last ep :'D
me when watching first two episodes: "well.. the writing is not anything stellar but i am watching it for my faves i guess... its cute tho" me during episode 5: *gets emotional over Hong Shim* *likes the relationship between main leads wayy too much* *has sudden wish i could binge watch the drama*
I guess this is going to be one of those guitly-pleasure dramas for me lol
i thought he was being a duchebag on purpose though? like "i hate it here/my father so i am going to make this…
He is indeed overly angsty but witnessing mass murder and finding out your father sold out your beloved mother can damage person for life, its hardly about losing a girl when he was at the age of 10. (Tough i agree that hong shim is showing not many signs of such terrible backstory. I think its fhe problem of writing though)
i thought he was being a duchebag on purpose though? like "i hate it here/my father so i am going to make this…
i guess i just wasnt really taking his obviously ridiculous demand seriously. it is ofc an awful thing to say. But all in all i still havent made an opinion on his character as an adult person we havent seen much of his character yet.
I think this drama relies heavily on chemistry of main leads/likability of main leads as i dont really expect writing to be outstanding (though first two episodes pleasantly surprised me). I like them both as actors so i dont feel iffy about it yet but i see where are you comming from
The ML is an asshole??? Not talking about his funny snobbity - wanting to kill all the birds because a maid smiled??…
i thought he was being a duchebag on purpose though? like "i hate it here/my father so i am going to make this place a hell for everyone around here" but at the same time is actually not that bad himself (as seen when he was talking to his friend). i think his change into decent human being wont be only because of FML
AAhhh.. i still dont know how i feel about this drama. The movie was beatifully painful and i dont really feel like comedy-romance can fit well this type of theme... but at the same time the cast and crew is so good and teasers and posters are cute.
The character of main female lead was extra annoying. Just a typical troubled girl... And oh boy... Jae Won is really a beautiful human being (plus his acting was surprisingly solid!)
I must say i didnt really like the first ~50 mins of the special but the ending was really nice
Gu Nan Xi was such a cute little puppy i just wish he wasnt just a second lead and actually got some story. Also... i think i could watch a whole drama about Fang Fang and the bad guy q_q. (Yes, I am trash like this lol)
True, the story is hardly original. I hate the rich CEO/heir reaching early thirties, realising he's never had…
As I said, i understand why people like WWwSK and if someone rated it 10 i wont really judge them and i dont think that they are fundamentally wrong (compared to some other dramas i side-eye on peoples lists lol). However, overall rating of 8,7 AND the hype around it is what surprises me considering the story itself.
Boss/employee romance is well beloved storyline and from time to time everyone likes something simple but i feel like this drama was tooo simple and oldschool to the boot and it didnt bring many new things imo. I was curious about WWwSK because i recently watched Jugglers and while that drama fell flat in the second half it was nice at the begining despite main leads having only basic chemistry so I hoped that WWwSK will satisfy my workplace romance needs more. It didnt and in some ways i found it even worse than jugglers. (Plus idk why but i found humour of WWwSK very tacky but people have different tastes.)
"she had the guts and confidence to say no whenever she wanted" - did she? Whole premise was that she quit her job and she wanted to focus on her own life/things (and i loved those first two episodes where she was claiming this). She said that several times and then she proceeded to work overtime and do other additional things despite having new girl in training to do basic tasks in her stead. Hell, she didnt even tell him that shes allergic to pollen. Im not saying that she was a dumb pupet but at the same time Kim Mi Sos character is no different from many decently written female characters these days.
Also idk why it is so trendy these days to complain about lousy female leads when in the past 3 or so years the trend of stupid one-dimensional women has drastically changed (at least in kdramas). Well written female leads dont have to be physically strong to be good and whilr there will always be some drama with stupid female lead like ISWAK i cant think of many dramas from past few years that had horrible female lead (except for some dramas that would be terrible with or without FL...)
lmao no. Ae Shin is the baby whos mother and father got murdered by that man in the suit. The older boy whos father…
Your confusion was just too funny :D! But i was similarly confused with the begining of the drama. So many things happen without giving us proper introduction to characters
Ep 1 ok, so......Ae Sin is the older boy whose dad worked with guns and Eugene is the little boy whose parents…
lmao no. Ae Shin is the baby whos mother and father got murdered by that man in the suit. The older boy whos father dies during attack is a gunner Jang. The first episode is confusing, just watch more episodes and come back later if it still doesnt click for you.
Thank you so much for your kind words! :)I honestly feared I was going to be called childish for addressing this…
I think Hana Yori Dango will be always topical especially with recent adaptation and sequel lol. Also i keep seeing repeatedly on reddit/forums questions like "Am I heaten for hating BOF/ Why everyone likes BOF?" so adressing this is something that will always find its readers :)
This is probably one of the best editorial articles i've read in the past few months here on MDL. I really liked how you used the quotes and the article itself was really complex! Thank you for writing it! :)
Okay, am I the only one who did not want to see P’Bright’s character return? I think it would’ve been more…
OMG same! Bright was such a creeper. I totally hated their story in previous season and i hoped he wont come back. I dont understand how so many people ended up liking their relationship... For thid season i hoped that maybe we will see again a "dark Farm" we saw at the end but he will find someone who isnt a middle aged man who is preying on him and he will eventually change into actually multidimnsional character (neither innocent virgin nor dark player)... if Bright really is a main character then it means their story will be again full of questionable tropes like "i will change for you", "ive suddenly realized how much i love you" and other things that are not a part of healthy relationship...
The one person I wanted some happiness for was Gunner Jang - heartbreaking, and then reveal she was his wife.…
That "she is my wife" moment was probably the most surprising and heartbreaking moment so far. I knew they had feelings for each other and i expected her to die but this plot twist made me cry so much

my most favourite actor but i was unsure whether to actually watch this drama. Thank you for info :)!
