everything she said make sense... why should she married her daughter to someone who have nothing.. no job, no…
I have no problem with wanting those things. But like QS says, it's just for her vanity, not for her daughter or the family. My main gripe isn't that though, it's the fact that she justifies it by treating her daughter as her property. Like, what century are we in? This isn't a period drama.
The two moms should just marry each other and go be the shittiest people together. 🙄 I thought for a second QS's mom came to her senses when she gave her the household registry, but nope. To compare your daughter to a flower you've been growing for 30 years? Holy shit.
Youku YT VIP has it through 13, Viki through 9 and I'm guessing the app through 16......but how is it in general....like…
I'm enjoying it so far, despite me not being usually into sports dramas. The characters are pretty interesting. The toxicity has been pretty minimal thus far. I think they're going for the uplifting and inspirational theme. The plot is pretty good, but the setup was a bit uncomfortable for me at first. In addition to the 7 year age gap, she's also his coach. As someone who works at a university (albeit not in China), that just screams ethics violations and disciplinary actions waiting to happen. But hey, this is drama land where love trumps all logic. And I guess it's like the modern equivalent of Yang Guo and Xiaolongnu's relationship, lol
Ep 15. "if you dare lose the race, I'm going to propose to Luo Na immediately." The most specific and probably effective threat/motivator. 🤣🤣🤣
Same! Read it twice and I still can't figure it ...
lol, the synopsis is awful. It's technically correct, but it's written poorly and full of contextless spoilers. Basically, Demons and Immortals are enemy factions, Lord of the Demons Fu Sheng (FL) saves a minor demon Jing Yuan (ML) from the Immortals and he kind of falls for her immediately. My best way to describe this drama is it feels like a condensed/abridged/low budget The Legends + Love and Redemption crossover. Pretty enjoyable though.
My interpretation of the ending: they died together in their human life and reincarnated again (you see the same…
I think he was injured in his fight with his sect brother before leaving, but I don't think he suffered any more afterwards fighting off the assassins protecting the girls. So for me, I think the timeline and their relationship development doesn't really let the scene fit anywhere else in the story. The other inconsistencies I just chalk up to continuity errors due to the low budget of the show.
the end= they died together??? Then there was some more aftercredits stuff which confused me EVEN MORE
My interpretation of the ending: they died together in their human life and reincarnated again (you see the same golden light as the last time), but her goddess/demon powers (which is able to control/influence the reincarnation cycle ) basically sent them back to the celestial realm, so they're back to being the phoenix and dragon. And when she turned around, she sees him still following her.
The post-credit thing is just like a bonus scene. I think it would've taken place during their life as mortals since that's the only time when he'd have those kind of injuries, but the costumes don't match, so who knows. 🤷 edit: she's wearing the same clothes as they were when watching fireflies on the bridge, so that scene fits right between ep 21 and 22
Randomly clicked on this while browsing and it's actually better than what I was expecting. I love stories of characters coming together to heal and grow together, and given the setup, I think it could've been better with a heavier tone. At least based on the calendar, it's unlikely to have a sad ending. And the leads are pretty cute together and nobody's a complete idiot, so I'm satisfied so far. Still hate Chen Min though, what a creep.
