TBH I skip over gaming scenes HAHA so my perception might be skewed
the amount of gaming scenes might be comparable to Gank Your Heart though? It's definitely not as much as Kings Avatar or even Love O2O
The game is FPS and played by the real actors though (not animated characters)

LOLLL story is a mess, audio sucks, typical short web drama
but acting is decent (ML is pretty good...I've watched him in another drama before too)

mmm it also didn't make sense to me that they didn't seem to practice much. Especially ML as the captain, there's no way you can go into a competition without having at least a few days of group training. It mostly seemed like single training though (and ML didn't participate). Idk how it is in real life but other dramas show them practicing a whole lot more (although admittedly those are the scenes I skip over)

but honestly I thought they were together a few eps before that (I only realized that they weren't official when he confessed LUL)

(start of with the OG) Love O2O: online friends, ML knows who FL is first

The Kings Avatar: a new start-up team being led by a legendary player. FPS game

Gank Your Heart: start of story is that FL needs ML to lead her in a game (also in and Love Scenery and You Are My Glory, if you count those gaming but not pro league dramas). Covers the topic of some toxic behaviors of some teams/arrogant individuals. SPOILER: GYH also has a period of start-up and FL being a manager.

Go Go Squid: FL is an online celebrity-ish but is in school (although GGS FL is in grad school); ML is an older/legendary player (although GGS ML is retired already). There is some return out of retirement secondary character (iykyk).

Falling Into Your Smile: ML personality is sooo alike...serious but playful to those close to him; flirty to FL only and easily gets jealous. Also, main CP is in the same team. IMO, I like Out with a Bang's CP more though...feel like they match more (can you tell, I wasn't a fan of FIYS FL at all)

oh wow thanks for this comment. I'll look forward to watching once all eps drop. I've been dropping so many dramas this year too. I can't tell it's just cause last year was really good or if this year is just really bad

S2 raws up to ep 8 dropped today. and I think 2 eps every Tues, Wed, Thurs after that (although I'm not sure if there will be more eps this week) according to duboku

I always remembered this being a really great drama and forgot why it wasn't on my top 5 of 2021...there were a lot of good releases in 2021 and the ending was...not as good as the rest of the drama (it was more of a slice-of-life note)

oof I paused this show because I was waiting for it to fully release. Thought I was half way (feels like I'm half way) but I'm only 10 eps in? oof not a good sign

ahhh watched again and it did not disappoint 💯💯
the whole crew's acting...just so natural. they seemed like they had a good time filming

I love how mature but sweet the relationships are

it's pretty light drama...cliches and decent pacing so far (I'm up to ep 11) no major angst so far (although it might change in next ep....we'll see)
each ep is only 30 mins so it's really not too long
good filler (as long as you don't mind extremely mediocre acting)

agreed....the first few mins that show her singing a song dubbed is no biggie...but the scene following that is dubbed as well so I think at least some actors will use dubs

wow how did they manage to keep the same actors
that's a feat in itself

might have to rewatch the previous seasons when this drops bc its been so long

hmmm wanna keep tabs on this before I become invested by watching the first eps

honestly exceeded my expectations
decently produced, business sabotage storyline was not overbearing, overall light and characters made reasonable decisions
the funnest character was Mr.He...what a wild card, kept me on my toes
I'm glad I watched this (this isn't to say there are no cliches though...its unavoidable in a 40+ ep drama)
