wow I can't believe I was about to pass on a drama bc of its tacky poster. I'm only on ep 3 and I'm enjoying the quality of production so far. can't wait for the plot twists that everyone has been talking about

I think FL was mature enough to give Xin Er and she saw that Xin Er really did move on from the ML and was just a pawn in the mother's plans. I don't think An Sheng did anything wrong business-wise (he didn't know 5G was New Way's project), if anything he was just a bit cringe/awks bc his crush on the FL but I think he is able to know what the boundaries of his brother role are now bc the FL made it very clear

Sooo cliche...in the middle episodes I was just trying to prevent myself from falling asleep. At least towards the end I was interested enough to see the action

factsss its now a staple (especially if there was some sort of PTSD/nightmare thing that came from it. It definitely has been in kdramas but I think nowadays Cdramas have adopted it

I agree that the justification for becoming a fiance is a real stretch. It doesn't even make sense because it didn't seem like she really liked him either (she was a bad student).

I'm pretty sure that the little sister is the current wife + husband's daughter. So they are technically half if you follow the logic above (if FL is actually Mr. Gu's + FL's mom's real daughter).

I have to agree...after seeing so many romcoms that hit, this is just extremely average. I can't tell if it's just the actors/actresses for me though. I really liked the setup...just something about the execution idk about

Hmm I do see the Mary Sue vibes but as a newcomer into the industry she also is a bit helpless at times and I don't find her character unrealistic.

Yah agreed I'm happy the grew and gave it a second/third chance and we didn't have to be there for a majority of the miscommunication in the beginning xD

yah Liang and Miao are in an interesting position bc they really care about the company but they have some personal vendettas. They also have higher ups keeping them in check if they go crazy. More of a realistic "villain" in workplaces, doing subtle legal stabs instead of a mole.

I think it was just misunderstandings on top of misunderstandings. I'm happy they're not the main cp otherwise I would die of frustration. But they really are a match
