I will probably start watching this tomorrow or Friday just because I want more episodes to drop, but I’m really looking forward to the following for starters; in Maury Povich’s voice “Jing, you are NOT the father!”
I am so glad the drama stayed fateful to the romantic story just like in the novel. Many were expecting that the drama would change the love story to cater for their fanfiction. Amen this is not happening.

Nah, it's fun to ship characters and such, but they're both real people with real lives. Real-life shipping causes more problems for the actors' careers than you can imagine.
I was thinking about this: when you ask from some people why you don't like Jing, They always say I like him when he was YSQ but after he became TSJ I find him annoying.
You know, Even TSJ hates himself as TSJ. He prefers to be YSQ again. Free from all of the responsibilities he have as TSJ and should care about them. When He is TSJ he is not himself. He should care about most smallest thing happening around him. It is tiring. The only hope and light in this living shell's life is XY. He want to give her best things in world and he know YSQ is not capable of doing that. He is not that powerful but at least he have money and good fame as TSJ. TSJ can give XY peaceful life without any worry, But is YSQ can do same? He think like this.
But XY want to be with YSQ not TSJ. When Xl asked her do you want to marry TSJ, She hastened and didn't answer. She couldn't. Being with TSJ is difficult. He is married clan leader and if she choose him, She don't know she can handle all the problems that are going to bring chaos in her life? But YSQ is someone she adore so much. When she was with her, Everything was peaceful. She didn't have smallest worry. She loved being with him. That's why when XL asked Are you willing to marry YSQ, she said yes soon. In her heart YSQ is really precious she can't hide this fact.
I'm frustrated with this show. All the scenes are so lifeless. Is the director asleep? Everything just happens because it's in the novel, no sense of climax or drama or romance or comedy... it's all so flat!!
The Emperor keeps telling the eunuch to investigate this and that, and it seems that he can always come back immediately with answers. If he's that capable, shouldn't the Emperor know absolutely everything about everyone already? Why does he even need the Inspectorate Office LOL
most of us may hate to admit it but Tushang Jing is the better choice. you can come up with as many scenarios as you want and it wont change that fact. (MY OPINION) Fenglong and Cang Xuan will not be good husbands because they will never put her first. for them it is power that comes first. XiangLiu has been given many opportunities to be with Xiaoyao but he will never give himself up for love. he has chosen one path and is not willing to change it for her. the only thing he can do is make sure she stays alive, sacrifice his body for her and be respectful of her wishes. That leaves jing who will give up his power and identity for her when he gets some FUCKING BALLS TO GET RID OF HIS BASTARD BROTHER. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DISAGREE
Just saw the trailer of 25- 26 it's gonna be heartbreaking but i finally see them working together to thrash SRQ…
it's not the SML that is irritating the viewers but the Main lead themselves, one is a simp and another is just fickle and what they are showing is just a toxic relationship.
I have put this on hold until the comment section becomes more encouraging tbh. The SML is too annoying for my mental health. Im sure i will learn when nutsack (as another commenter calls him) gets his just desserts or when the FL at least puts him in his place and starts to treat the ML as he deserves.
