I honestly mistook TXW with Baby Zhang bc of this lol. FCY came out as a memorising butcher just like TLITBH and that was what I liked about both of it. I couldn’t compare the two yet bc this one hasn’t finished but I did find it funny that FCY exbetrothed was a scholar and the fl over in TLITBH married a scholar and even her own father was one. The plot for that one is her butchering business and his advancements in the court as oppose to this one where they both have more equal standing in bg and is a lot more political since he’s the marquis. To me, I actually liked both the same lol. I had been contemplating reading the book from TLITBH for a long time but never reached for it but I’m doing it now for PoJ. I think I should start it sometime.

I’m looking at all those priceless vases in the vault like… 😮 amounting to $700M USD??! 😂

That is one frightening job, even if I was rich, I would still have trust issues for 1% of the day, every, single, day!

I love the fighting scenes so much, I’m actually stoked for the angst. Especially when they fought together.

I think the highlight for me in this ep was Amy Choo realizing how much her ex husband was to her. 😂 And her new assistant pushing her to get him back or he will be gone forever. Sometimes, it takes actually leaving to make them understand how important you are in their life… unlike the fl. ☠️

Alright, but TH thinking of baby proofing all the time, looking through the child’s clothing section and changing his apartment ‘style’ was 😍😍

The problem with TPR comes from the book and the scriptwriter tried to convey it but it was bad, whilst this one comes from the scriptwriter themself. They could both choose to edit out the love triangle but SRQ was plot device while Mr Sunbae is not necessary at all here lol.

TPR was a very long book condensed into a short drama focusing a lot on political manoeuvering while also adding in romance. They regressed some 20/30 years back, and it was always meant to be about the trio. SRQ lived and breathed with LR the whole time separating from PWX. They had a ‘close’ relationship. LR wasn’t ‘chasing’ PWX until way beyond the 2nd half of the book and most of every second was either about SRQ or rebuilding their career. You can’t delete this guy but someone said back when it was airing about how they added more screen time in some scenes even when he wasn’t there in the actual book, so as a book reader, I personally decided to not watch it for a better piece of mind.

OU is a very simple kdrama, the accident with the parents is simple, fl adapting WJ is simple, even the ml dad being in prison was simple. There’s nothing to the plot other than them and the 2nd ml forth wheeling disguised as a romcom. They could have made it even simpler by deleting the first love out bc they actually can but nope they choose to add more screen time, him showing up at the daycare was not it.

I don’t know if I hate SRQ more or this Mr Sunbae. 😂

I last saw a comment yesterday about how if the 2nd ml shows up at the daycare, it’s ruined.

✌🏼 It in fact, did get ruined. I was trying so hard not to comment on it but I don’t think anything can get any worse than this. I’m surviving this show purely for WooJoo. I’m seeing wayyy too much edits on it that it’s ruining my mood for the fl.

The cases were ok but I really liked the ending. The use of all female team is also nice too.

I haven’t watched any of these actors and actresses for a long time. Time flies so quick. 😂

So what do we think? How much is she really involved in it? This first ep was epic and the OSTs were amazing.

I haven’t seen ZYC since Desire Catcher days, it’s a new look to see him in shorts now. I’m not MangoVIP so stopped at ep 2 but the plot is going ok.

Why did the bro in law choose to be a policeman in the first place? Is his accident really just a coincidence? All these questions lingering in my head yet they choose to focus on the first love. 😐

So… how does daycare work? They have daycare for Woojoo on days that’s not needed and can’t on days that’s needed?? 😂

Lol today’s episode was like the first love third wheeling and I’m in the background like a love square. It was THAT bad. Someone, get me away from here!

Also, the in law went full out on breakfast, a literal full table and it looks and sure taste good, alright. 😍

This is what i think after watching halfway through, fl is a participant of Keep Love but hasn’t been revealed. Perhaps she joined to help ml but he doesn’t know about it and creates a plan using her too. Like a plan within a plan recreating their love story x2 (+ the ex and CMM which btw, I was weirded out by her using suicide to not break up as the fl did the same as coping mechanism) and the preview of ep 13 now shows the ml split personality.

In the book, JTH was pregnant but didn’t believe it because she was told the poison would make her infertile. She fled back to her country, and SZY found out so he tried to chase her and had one of his people prescribe her medicine to prevent miscarriage as she was having pain during the carriage ride. They ‘fought’ a war whilst trying to find out how to cure the poison only to find out, it can’t be cured. The very last chapter ends with them living secluded, and JTH goes into labour. They prepare for her to die but after giving birth, she didn’t, and her master figured out the poison had transferred over to the baby. The master takes the baby to try to cure the poison as there’s a few methods which only works when it’s started early in life. JTH parts with her baby in reluctance, SZY doesn’t seem too attached. The baby is never mentioned again after that or in the extra chapters (correct me if im wrong readers). The baby exists purely for plot device to ‘cure’ the poison. We are left to imagine ourselves what happens next as the cp lives out the rest of their lives happy.

What is the HE we want? SZY sacrificing himself or a baby?

The ending to me was lacklustre in both drama and the book. They went through so much and couldn’t even keep their own child.
