- Wang Zi Jing kills herself- Li Ge's shi xiong becomes a vegetable- Wang Mian to be executed- Lu Wan is exiled-…
yeah it honestly just depends on how upset you get after the drama ends in a way you don't like. a lot of people say that it "ruined the drama" and it was a "waste of time" but it's just because the "unsatisfying" ending. if you don't like bittersweet/open endings then maybe don't finish the drama, just watch up to 50 or something.

Yeah, the ending is so typical of Chinese dramas - unnecessary deaths that the writers are trying to make them…
chinese people aren't allergic to normal endings???? the way you say it leaves bad taste in my mouth. there are a ton of dramas with happy endings. just because most of the bigger ones don't doesn't mean "chinese people are allergic to any kind of normal endings." lmao it's up to the viewer to decide whether or not the ending will ruin the drama, i respect that opinion, but your first claim is quite a reach.

Honestly I really like the ending. It seems bittersweet but the result is actually up to your interpretation on whether or not SLG really killed herself. You can convince yourself that she's dead and gone, or or interpret it as nothing but imagination. These endings are really interesting to me, because not everything is set in stone and therefore it's up to the viewers whether or not it's a happy/sad ending. I'm so happy this drama released, it's my favorite and will be for a long time.

Did u see the trailer for this drama? I’m not gonna lie he looks the same like all of his previous robot roles…
oh i haven't seen the trailer yet, however i will asap. tbh his ability to score ML roles just shocks me.

maybe they were "friend favors" but she didn't apologize to YS or even explain herself. yeah she didn't need to tell everyone about her relationship but to flat out lie to the other is just wrong. i'm not saying she's a bad person but she did make mistakes that were not acknowledged. she shouldn't have told people she had a boyfriend if she wasn't ready to commit to the truth. maybe it's embarrassing at the party but it's just the right thing to do. bringing a rich friend as your bf is uncalled for. she should've at least told YS about it beforehand or just go to the party alone.

i know and understand it isn't totally her fault, but for her to take second lead to that party as her boyfriend was a mistake and a mistake on her part only. she was embarrassed to tell everyone her relationship with ML so she used 2nd lead as a replacement. no matter how scared or afraid you are to tell people you should at least go to that party alone. personally i wouldn't really care about the FL's decisions as much is she didn't take second male lead to the party as her boyfriend. that was totally wrong.

yeah i've seen the hate too. it's not like i don't understand. i'm only trying to explain that JJY isn't the one spreading info, if anything it's her company. JJY herself isn't fake, but the people that try to shape her are. anything wrong with what i said?

telling people to go down there isn't a solution to your problems. it's rude and gives JJY fans a bad name. please be respectful if you expect to get the same in return.

uhhhhhhhhh i mean if you search her up it says she's 5'3. i didn't say anything more about not knowing her height. i never said she lied about her height. the other person did.

I think this drama is much better than Royal Nirvana. I feel that this drama focuses more on familial love and…
totally agree! family ties and trust is very emphasized in this drama which makes it so good. the problem with royal nirvana is how much of a cycle the events are: crown prince intervenes in government affairs, screws up, and then cries because the emperor doesn't care. it's depressing but the content in it repeats. definitely prefer this drama over royal nirvana.

This drama is a parody of the original. I actually really like this in the beginning but has grown irritated with…
i,,,,good to know. i see a lot of "SKK scandal is better" comments but this really stood out to me. in reality i don't see that they're trying to make it seem like the FL is a "once in a century talent." she sucked at painting, flute, and anything related to exercise in the start. she didn't really progress in those as much (besides archery) and it doesn't really ever touch on it again. it's not like she's a mary sue because she makes a ton of bad decisions all the time and her brothers help her out. i mean yes comparison to the OG is inevitable but clearly this version isn't trying to replicate it entirely. i respect your opinion, but i don't see it as a fail. it was still entertaining and fun to watch, and i never found the FL unbearable. agree to disagree i guess, hahaha

i'd die if that opinion wasn't a minority, lolol. there's quite a few "JJY fake this JJY bad at that" news i see so can't help but to roll my eyes whenever i see more. it was out of place for me to comment again after a few days passed but oh well.

it's just a perception thing. different views may be different, but aren't wrong. she did use lu ming as a rebound in sorts which i myself would never do if i was fan xing. it's more of my preference for less indecisive characters than ones that don't know what they're doing. yes, it was (in some ways) realistic, but as a person with a very different personality i just didn't vibe with the FL.

i explained in a different comment, feel free to read. sorry if i went on a rant or anything but it's not uncommon to see a lot of JJY hatred for her body/image. scroll down, wayyyyyyyyyyy down. you can probably see a big thread.

i mean a ton of comments from a specific person i won't name. the insults range from her being too skinny, being a bad actress, not looking strong enough for roles, etc. it's not just on this page specifically but their comments are definitely more blunt on this one. their criticism could be more respected if they were able to communicate in a more civil way, but i'm seeing these blunt statements thrown here and there about ju jingyi. they talk about how JJY/the character she portrays is too "wimpy" and isn't "strong" enough. apparently she's a "miscast" and "seems like one trick pony." overall kinda just radiates hater energy. it's all about "oh she's so weak she can't do anything she's just a bad actress the character sucks etc." i'm not gonna get off topic about the other insults but this person acts like JJY appearing in the drama just made everything collapse into a ditch and get lit on fire. it's not in any recent discussions however it's there. it's just farther down. and if you wanna see a few more just look at JJY's page/profile, i'm pretty sure there's a comment or two from that person again.

i'm sorry about that. not all JJY fans are this aggressive. i don't think she's the one that's lying about things, rather her company and people around her are forcing her to do things. she constantly looks unhappy and tired. (a while ago btw, i'm not sure what's going on now) she's not coming up with the ideas herself, that's for sure. i don't think she is lying to people or trying to be perfect, i can easily suspect her company pressures her to do these things. but i think she's still very individual. she isn't afraid of showing her imperfections (ex. in a live stream she washed her face and saw a small pimple/bump, and didn't care that people saw it, and she has quite a few pictures of her wearing absolutely no makeup) and in interviews she doesn't beat around the bush. as for the height, i really have no idea. i don't know if she's 5'3 or 4'9 lol. people constantly criticize her for many things and because of that she's forced to change in order to please the public eye. she actually gets a lot of really disgusting haters that will do anything to put her down. i don't think that it's just her doing this all by herself. and i'm sorry about the other person, the people [i know] that know/like JJY are pretty chill.

I think it was a must for someone to die in this drama and it was pretty good timing in my opinion but I was just…
emmmm okay, nothing wrong with that. i couldn't really understand one or two sentences you wrote because the wording is a little confusing. that's a problem on my end for not understanding. but i don't think she was exaggeratedly affectionate to the shen family, in reality many cdramas portray daughters (adopted or of blood) to treat their parents very well. i don't find her to be exaggeratedly affectionate, rather she's more careful with her words like all women were during that time. i think she started trying to kiss up when lige came back, but repeatedly got ignored. she had a change of heart after such events. her resentment does not come from her understanding that she is not a shen by blood, her resentment came from the fact "everything" was taken away from her in a sense because lige was reunited with her family and everything changed. she thought that, from the many years they were together, mrs. shen would still treat her as the main daughter and lige would just be another family member that doted on her. we can agree to disagree, because in this case it comes from different analysis and understanding of the situation. but i do respect your words and do not mean to argue.

@JJY body shamers your input is not only unnecessary, but downright disgusting and embarrassing. so what JJY is skinny? so what she doesn't "look" athletic and strong? what about it? it's so toxic and detrimental to see these kinds of things happen. it's just plain hate without anything to support it. i'm sick and tired of seeing the "JJY ruined the drama because she is so skinny and doesn't look like a male" agenda. shut upp lmao it's not hard to refrain from body-shaming. i may come off really rude right now but i'm sick of some people going around being disrespectful to actresses without understanding what they're been through to have such an image.(ye, i did edit the comment. sorrrrrrrrrry)
