it's disgusting. too fat? shamed. too skinny? shamed. JJY actually suffered a lot in order to appeal to her audience and for someone to shame her body is truly disgusting and arrogant. i mean if you don't like it, gtfo it's no one else's problem. if they have communication problems and are unable to display their opinion without being disrespectful they might as well leave. i've reported multiple comments body shaming/insulting JJY but there have been no consequences. if i could give people slaps through screens, i'd be reallll happy right now.

i,,,didn't say adopted children are replacements. but let's be real mrs. shen mentally treated leqing like her own daughter and unconsciously used her as a placeholder for shen lige. it's not that it was her intention from the start, but became the case gradually. i'm not making a general statement that all adopted children are replacements (lmao) but leqing's jealously and previous lifestyle lead her to hate lige for "taking it all away." she says it herself many times. please don't make general assumptions about what i say, i'm talking about one situation and one situation only.

ikrrr. i really wish JJY's hairstyles could be different from time to time. i really really really didn't like JJY's wardrobe in yunxi because it felt so,,,flat. it didn't really compliment her. honestly i just feel bad for her sometimes because it's like half of her dramas don't know what will make her look better. ruyi seems more promising in terms of hairstyle/costume, but if it turns out to be flat again i'll be kinda sad.

yeah, this drama is better than royal nirvana in the aspects of less repetition. the crown prince in royal nirvana wanted his father's attention so bad and a lot of events were unrealistic. this drama has a good balance of seriousness but realistic lighthearted touches here and there. it's just not for those people that downgrade the quality of the drama because it made them sad, lol

this is kinda out of context but since you've watched the drama, could you tell me what's going on with zhong xiao qin and that really young employee? did xiao qin get a divorce or something for them to start dating? i'm so confused.

ohhh i see. yeah it would be a really simple but good detail to add. i think the production kept JJY in makeup just so that it would be more "screenshot-worthy" if you know what i mean.

for a moment this reminded me of "royal nirvana," depressing, but beautiful and bittersweet. i guess you shouldn't commit to this drama if you're easily emotional/can't stand sad events in cdramas.

he's not gonna become a commoner??? as a prince regent when the emperor retakes the throne he just goes back to being a prince, he isn't demoted to be a commoner.

yeah, i agree, good scriptwriter. they evoked enough emotion from people to get these results. that's commendable.

finally someone can say it without being plain disrespectful or rude to the actress :,D i agree, maybe they can tone it down with the pink-ish eye makeup and lipstick, but it's all for appeal. i think it'd be cool if they toned the makeup down but whenever she changed into a girl outfit she could wear the makeup she wore the entire show. it's just a slight difference that counts, y'know?

well i think that's where her downfall started; she was rich and pampered. mrs. shen always sought to look for her lost daughter and after lige returned, leqing basically was not needed as she only served as a replacement role in the family. but yes i totally agree, how would a nitwit like her understand these kind of things xD totally strange.

yeah ik she's acting like that it's her JOB to do it she's portraying a CHARACTER get over it. you're one of those people that get so emotionally invested in characters that you hate the people that acted them too. if anything you're just blinded by your JJY hate parade. low insults. but good job for your effort, you managed to be wrong in every and any way possible :)
