totally agree. the sister (coackroach sister as i like to call her) is just implemented to cause problems/collude with the bad guys. at least she's semi-capable, compared to li changle in the princess weiyoung who would cry to her mother every time something was wrong. kong cheng is soo cute, like he's just a great addition.

should i watch this? as long as the FL isn't irritating/has a fickle personality i can plan to watch. i saw a comment about her being fickle so i don't know if i want to watch it.

thank goodness grand consort is banished/kicked out of the palace and lu yuan is killed. it's a slow but satisfying end to them. too bad the chancellor is really pissed and begins having secret meetings with people to overthrow pengcheng.

ngl i was just in shock a drama could be THIS bad. i'm not one to insult but wow the FL is so dry. she thinks she's so smart but when she confronts her sister she cries and says nothing. Jinxiu is also pretty annoying with the "wow my life is such a tragedy, as if i didn't do this to myself and had a chance to turn back but didn't." it's just,,,wow. these kids know nothing. and mujin shouldn't have messed around with the purple eye guy? i mean if she doesn't have a firm opinion then obviously it will seem like she's ditching feibai. smh

like holy crap LQ is way over that. i really hope she's a more primary role (even if not the FL/FL's best friend. hopefully this page isn't edited accurately and when it gets fixed things make more sense.

i mean it's just a preference thing. i honestly wasn't bothered at all because of how well it was executed. the princess weiyoung had a good plot/production, but sometimes it seems like she gets into way too much trouble with changle/changru. it'd be a lot less repetitive if they cut out maybe 2-3 problems from each. it's really just how much you can tolerate things. i get it.

ugh ZLS is so hard working i have to salute T_T in an interview she said she doesn't get much sleep while filming and i feel so bad for her. she really hit the jackpot, being young and popular with many projects. DYX's eyes are like,,,s p a r k l i n g. he's so cute and i rarely say that with actors. i hope he gets another drama with ZLS even though i know it's impossible,,,but the duo is so iconic i can't move onnnn

yeah, but i find the cliches actually bearable and not irritating to watch like other dramas. the acting is on point and the events aren't dry at all. i guess some cliches come from the fact that it's the sister drama to "the princess weiyoung," which kind of set the stage for cliches in 2017.

ohhh i've seen those before. i just don't like them because she gets some puppy love get in the way of everything else she worked for. it's kinda a meh to me because i can't relate to that type of person at all. it's really impulsive and detrimental to her career if she lets it get in the way. definitely happy that this type of character doesn't dominate chinese dramas.

the villains will eventually get what they deserve (if what i see from the trailers aren't wrong) yes there's some repetition but every incident is different and better executed, i've never felt like there was a drag. maybe the harem drama wasn't as engaging, but served its purpose to introduce hong dan/xiao xin's personality and lige/princess consort's relationship. it may seems really subtle right now but in the last 20 or so episodes, the tides seem to change.
