i totally agree. it seems that the people who approve pictures just,,,don't care. a lot of actresses/actors have extremely old or badly taken photos as their pfp. yeah it's them, but that photo just doesn't represent them. li qin and dark colors are fine, but this picture isn't really all that good. i wonder who's approving these lmao,,,

ikr! the fighting is totally unique and fresh, dynamic and easy to follow at the same time! 37 onward is really gonna be where the drama progresses. there's so many unexpected things and it's such a ride of emotions. hopefully i can survive them :((

i saw a trailer and li ge gives yikang a peck on the lips. i'm not sure but i think that there isn't much kissing or anything because of the age gap. qin hao is like, 42 while li qin's 29. just my speculation though

It was pretty good when I watched it a long time ago. However, the FL and ML are way too perfect. Mary Sue material. Weiwei was simply unable to be bad at anything (except social skills maybe LOL) and Xiao Nai was just a carbon copy of a cliche quiet/talented ML.It was really cute and easy to watch, but that part bugged me out.

this is kinda irrelevant but i saw a clip of the husband (?) getting shot in the head, and the FL screaming and crying with her daughter before running away and passing out. she lost her front teeth? by the looks of it at least. everyone says that the ending is happy so is that clip just a dream?

don't worry then ahah, this one's a little bit of an open ending but definitely not a sad one. apparently a ton of episodes got cut out, so they just used a simple ending. i totally agree though,,,whenever the endings are bittersweet or sad i feel dreadful for days.

Not bad. It was pretty interesting but really push and pull. I find He Fan Xing as a character really annoying. She kept using Lu Ming and parading that they were dating but didn't even see him as as more than a friend. The breakup between Fan Xing and Yuan Song was such a mess. Yuan Song tried forcing her to do something she was embarrassed to do, but she didn't even explain herself. She could have said "Look. I know you want to tell everyone but I'm just not comfortable doing it in front of a huge crowd. I'm not trying to back out on my promise, however we can do this another way." But she didn't say that. She just muttered and blubbered saying she was just using Yuan Song to cover herself up. And every time they fight, she goes in the opposite direction to cry??? And then Yuan Song has to (or tries to) go and comfort her?? Idk but the FL just hits a nerve from time to time. She's unclear about what to do and doesn't confront her mistakes. She really just used Lu Ming, no matter how annoying he was. Overall it was a good drama, just can't stand the FL.

hmm well that depends. there's a lot of younger, less experienced actors/actresses and the more experienced people are at least 25+ in most cases. of course there are very talented and young actors/actresses (example, zhao lusi) but it just depends on the genre/mood of the cdrama alltogether. this drama is a lot more serious, so in order to get a good portrayal of the characters li qin and qin hao are ML/FL. both are 29+ so they have more experience. i honestly wouldn't have cast it any other way, li qin's acting is stellar in this drama and she's really able to pull some heart strings when lige is struck with an unfortunate event.

ikrrrr! i can't tell if he's trying to act and portray the character or just stare at a wall. even as a cold character, it's common for viewers to read their emotions (even just a little bit) from expressions. alan yu honestly gets an unfair amount of popularity. he can't portray characters well and he always just stands there in a bored fashion. this story would have been much better if alan yu was replaced. anyone that can ACTUALLY display a serious demeanor but also allow viewers to understand the emotions that character is going through. i'm not good at differentiating sometimes as well, but woah yu menglong is really taking it to a different level.

glad someone agrees with me :O she's done so dirty getting these roles. i really liked her in "the princess weiyoung" since her acting was really hilarious. this drama was just,,, not it. she gets a lot of hate for the wrong reasons, if anything she just gets bad roles.
