in the cdrama liu yikang isn't the emperor. he kinda stands as the prince regent or just replacement for the emperor…
probably. he would be like jingling, just standing in court and can present his ideas but isn't the one to make the decisions. he's still a prince, so he still gets those privileges.
this was kinda disappointing for me. it felt so awkward at the start and even if it improved a little later, i still didn't like it that much. no hate to the drama but the acting was just....not it.
yeah i heard that too. i want to hear more about it/learn more since it seems like no one even cares?
ohhh lol makes sense. i'm not a zanilia fan (at all tbh) so i really didn't understand the situation. that's probably just zanilia not like ZJQ or something.
i'm not sure. the sister drama (the princess weiyoung) had a bittersweet ending where the ML died a few years…
ikrr :( the bittersweet ending got me feeling a little dreadful after, i kept thinking about it even after i finished the drama. i really don't want another ending like that for song of glory aaaaaaaaaaaa
i'm not sure. the sister drama (the princess weiyoung) had a bittersweet ending where the ML died a few years…
yeah, i know but i just simplified it for the sake of it. bittersweet endings always get me emotional on the inside no matter what, i really hope that there's a happy ending. there's a ton of tragedy in this drama so a bittersweet ending would top it off.
right?? girl must have no time for a break! she has 3 dramas (or is it 4) coming out in 2021. ding yu xi ISS so…
haha i agree! DYX's expressions are so on point. sadly i dropped intense love right before starting to watch TROTAR. idk lol but i prefer DYX in this drama. more lively/had a personality. but yeah i may pick it up if i wanna see more DYZ...haha
Why do I have a feeling that it will be a sad ending...:(
i'm not sure. the sister drama (the princess weiyoung) had a bittersweet ending where the ML died a few years after the conflict due to sickness. i'm not sure if this drama will follow suit, however it may head in that direction if the writers wanted to keep the ending.
hmm well that depends. there's a lot of younger, less experienced actors/actresses and the more experienced people…
yes, i agree. many low-budget dramas tend to care less about how good the acting is and just hire random actors. you can tell how much money went into this drama and how the production wanted to strive for a less silly plot. if you want to watch dramas with younger cast, you should definitely watch a few of zhao lusi's dramas. she's only 21 but is very talented and has a ton of dramas out there.
awh you don't like ju jingyi? that sucks lol cus she's the FL. i dunno if there won't be a secondary couple but…
ermm did i offend you? i didn't mean it haha i just meant that if you don't like JJY you'll have trouble watching the drama. it's just a preference thing ig.
kinda, yes. bai suzhen's child grows up and after passing the imperial exam, goes to pray for his mother at the temple she's locked in. xiao qing (now a dragon) makes all the water in xi hu go away, and suzhen is freed from the temple. she also meets xu xian again, and the cdrama ends.
i really hope that alan yu's acting has improved. if not, i doubt i will be able to finish this drama when it airs. his stoic face just shuts me down. if he's gonna be "unruly" and "flirtatious" i wanna be able to say "oh, okay. nothing wrong with that description." i have some expectations for this drama. hopefully i don't totally shut down when it airs.
oh well indeed. i guess we just have to sit and wait. leqing will get some kind of karma i suppose :))
