btw given Fan Xiao's personality i am wondering if Shu Lang suddenly bumping into him, is just a coincidence or all orchestrated - cause i doubt there was a moment where Fan Xiao didn't know where Shu Lang was, after they parted ways. so after everything we have seen, i don't think i could ever truly trust Fan Xiao & i wasn't the person wronged like Shu Lang, so can he every truly ever trust him enough, to take him back?!??? idk - & now that he has a child dependent on him, in reality he never would chance it IMO but obviously the BL & reality have little to do with each other 😂🖐
anyone saying "...oh how can u not feel bad for poor Fan Xiao, if only u know what he went through in the novel..." sorry not everyone read the novel & they (i) only have the BL to go off. & yeah i feel bad for how he grew-up & his past trauma's, but(!) as i always say - just cause u r hurt doesn't(!!!) justify u hurting others! ✌
i am pretty sure we saw him getting hit by the car, after the ghost scared him, he ran & got hit. hard to stage that - & he had an operation so i doubt that was a mislead. but nothing is a 100%
so the ghost with the joker smile the wife. The one with Thup Chaba.are we still going with Thup being the son?
Thup can't be the son, cause he was handed over to the monk as a baby (& his mother looked beaten (she was one of the sacrifices & was the ghost that came to whisper to him when he was sleeping in the interrogation room, she also showed him the body of the guy in the freezer) she also never hurts him, unlike the ghost with the "smile" & he wasn't sickly as a baby like the cops son. also am pretty sure Chaba was the nurse the cop cheated/ran away with, the ghost with the smile was murdered before he ran away with Chaba. according to the drunk cop.
cause of ur comment, i went watched the intro credits (i usually skips them like i do the preview, cause there too many spoilers in them IMO) anyway the person lying on the ground, with the red cloth on their face is the ghost with the smile. so maybe they look similar cause they mother & son?
I can’t keep up with the character’s names. They’re not here also in mdl. So the policeman is not dead?…
no, the gambler that got arrested isn't connected - the cop is the one that got stabbed & started the killings. cause the ghosts were after him & his son - who was sick. the ghost with the smile is his wife - who he killed. & yeah he is the one that supposedly ran away with another nurse name Chabab - i personally think he murdered her too as he needed 7 victims, not only to prolong his life but also for his sons health. as it showed in the hospital file, the son was in the pediatric unit until the age of 3. after that cause of the sacrifices he didn't need the hospital. & Thup said the son is the same age as him - that's why i guessed he was the one that told Darin to go get a blessing, basically sending the new chosen victim to his father to "bless" - well that's my guess
so Mek the bad-guy?!? or am i wrong - cause now i think he is the sick son & the head of that commune/shrine is his father, the cop. am sure he hasn't been in the force for yrs, so he needed his son to infiltrate the force, so he/they could keep tabs on how much info the cops had & how to always be one step ahead, so they never get caught. as the father needed to act like a saint, so he would always have access to a new batch of victims, when it was time for the ritual. 4 more eps to go - but wonder if i have figured it out, time will tell.
but am really enjoying this & love the mains they such a cute couple! btw idk why the next ep is in almost 14 days 🤷♀️😫
given some of the comments i read, had to say that i enjoyed the mains chemistry & i loved how they made each bloomed, when around each other, yeah it was more noticeable with Jung Woo who started to smile when he was around Tae Young, he started to come to life & that was such a major change from the start (before Tae Young came into his life). but even Tae Young who was always smiling - was happier & almost walking on air, just being around Jung Woo. they conveyed perfectly how being in-love makes u bloom & it warmed my heart watching them together. & loved how the whole intimae scene was dealt with, there was a lot of tenderness in that scene & i think it kinda fits Jung Woo's personality. Tae Young seems like he would be more wild & adventurous type, but cause it was their 1st time together, the mellowness & consideration conveyed in that scene was fitting the character's & their 1st time, same with their kisses.
not every BL couple gotta be hot & heavy, a tender heart felt kiss & coupling is a more mature approach to convey love IMO & this worked perfectly for this couple! they had good chemistry 💖
wish i could say i loved this - this started off strong, but fell flat. given Minato's personality & hang-up's i guess unless he did a 180 by the end, showing some growth i wouldn't really be that happy.... & he didn't change - if anything in this ep he told Shizuma that he "fell" for him cause of how he talked about his ex gf (that cheated on him). to anyone it would sound like he "fell" cause Shizuma was so unlike his mother, to me it came off as Shizuma is someone who could be easy to "handle".
at the end when Minato says "...if u cheat i will kill & eat u..." i believe that. while Shizuma's threat had no teeth, as he has already proved he will grovel, plead & apologize - trying to understand & forgive Minato whether it's justified or not, even before he tried to open his mouth, he is forgiven. so i aint happy with this end, as to me Minato lucked out, but Shizuma has gotten the raw end of the deal. the bummer is that this has been the case with quite a few J-BL's recently, they start off great but slowly they like a balloon, slowly getting deflated & a "sex" scene & a few tepid kisses can't revive this corpse. 🤷♀️🤦♀️
genuinely don't get why others didn't like this, it wasn't a "mess" - yes it was short & it felt a bit rushed, cause a lot needed to be covered - but each issue was dealt with & i think by the end everything was resolved in a healthy way. the acting was great & the mains had chemistry. maybe it wasn't perfect, but i have seen a lot of BL's that others r hyped about & idk what they r talking about, cause there it feels like it's more about the actors not the character's or the erotic scenes or lustful kisses. that's doesn't a good drama make IMO.
this was good & i enjoyed it from start to finish - for sure a rewatch.
Fan Xiao's monolog at the start was a pity party for one, everything was me me me.... so i rejoiced when Shu Lang didn't soften. why should he?!? so what if Fan Xiao had trust issues, how is Shu Lang or anyone good to blame? what, cause a person is good that means they lead an easy life?!? there r people that smile & laugh & r in the world of pain. as i always say, just cause ur hurt Doesn't justify u hurting others!!! Fan Xiao is a selfish ass hat, in the previous ep i felt sad for him, but now i don't - cause the sec Shu Lang started speaking he shut him out, cause he only wants to hear, what he wants to hear & as long as Shu Lang's not accepting his "apology" & ready to start over, he has no interest in really listening to what he has to say. this NOT boding well - idk how this "love" story's gonna get back on track, for me to root for it or Fan Xiao, as of now - he unworthy of Shu Lang period.
side note: anyone adopting a child & then tossing them aside like so much garbage, cause they finally got pregnant, deserve to be thrown into prison (both "mother" & "father") heck a hefty fine would also be grand - anything & everything that would serve as a warning, for others not to act like heartless degenerates. who f*ckin does that to a child?!????? disgusting!
the sec we met the sick head of the house, Ai Soon - i had a feeling he was the one behind the deaths/murderers, before him i suspected Ta Khuean. so didn't need to see him in the interrogation room, to know he isn't the serial killer. cause if the murders aren't about the killing, but about the ability to prolong life, then the one in need is the sick guy - no?!? but the preview confused me, what cop? or is the cop the same one that went mad 15 yrs ago & went missing?!? & is he Ai Soon?!? time will tell.
btw if i was Darin, i would search out Thup & stick close to him, as is the guys on Singha's teams think he is like a good luck charm that wards of ghosts. that true or not, does it matter when u got a target on ur back?!?
& laughed out loud when King finally saw "smile" pity it didn't amount to anything - & no i ironically don't want him dead. even though i don't trust him & i am still annoyed by how shady he is. but that doesn't mean i want him to become the next victim.
well this was an easy binge watch, as this was less then an hr & even though i agree with everyone saying this was bad, i didn't mind it..... yes, the acting was bad - the plot wasn't developed, the audio was weird & even the cinematography was shaky at parts. oh lets not forget, the weird edits - basically this was a train wreck, but oddly entertaining. like driving past an car crash, wanting to look away, but being morbidly fascinated & looking anyway 😂
i think the concept was 50 shades of gray, but a chaste/toned-down version, which was executed badly. the acting kinda made me laugh, Hae Jun looked so freakin uncomfortable being manhandled, & the kisses were like Jae Hun was trying to eat him lo... watching them was cringe & funny.
u don't need sex or nudity to sell the product, if it was a version of 50 shades - heck this wasn't even BDSM light - this was a farce, a weak imitation of what BDSM is. so either do some research & do it right, or change the plot to something u have a clue about. watching the guys flounder around especially Hae Jun, made the whole viewing into a comedy - a bad one at that. it felt like he was literally forced into something he didn't want to do, even when he's supposedly fallen in-love with Jae Hun 🤷♀️ oh well this was a one off - hope the actors find a better project the next time around this was a disaster.
like u, i didn't get the open ending which to me (considering Sugiki past behavior & personality) seemed more…
agree, this was a let down - now if Sugiki had offered more then a reminder of the 10 dance. he didn't smile when he walked away, like Suzuki did. basically nothing to indicate he changed his mind & now didn't see Suzuki as his enemy. so yeah this wasn't a well throughout out ending IMO too
like u, i didn't get the open ending which to me (considering Sugiki past behavior & personality) seemed more like a new way to get Suzuki to come to the competition. then any kind of start to a relationship. the fact Suzuki smiles, again means nothing cause IMO he was more infatuated... while Sugiki even if he was attracted, was hell bent on not falling in love with anyone. so u r right to be confused by the end, as nothing is clear & anyone saying otherwise is using more wishful thinking, then reading right what they saw - that's my two cents 😅🖐
this ep went more or less as i thought it would, Minato is great at throwing himself a pity party (& i am at a stage where i don't give a damn it's cause of his traumatic past - everyone got sh*t they need to deal with, that doesn't justify using innocents as mental punching bags to deal with said trauma!), while Shizuma (as per usual) bent over backwards trying to understand an accommodate him.
even Minato's "confession" felt like he was doing Shizuma a favor, cause of all he said - i.e promised. is that a confession? is this love??? - idk, but i aint a happy camper - Minato isn't worthy of all the work Shizuma is putting into him or this "relationship", if anything Minato keeps taking him for granted. & i get that Minato (who has always been the younger individual in the equation) is used to being taken care of, by everyone around him - they baby him. but isn't it time he grew the f*ck up?? he said' "...he also worries he would hurt the person he loves..." WTF would u call what he has been doing to Shizuma, since they met??? actions speak louder then words, so wish he started acting like he cared (& no, f*cking at the end, doesn't make up for how he has treated Shizuma until now & sadly will keep treating him & it for sure doesn't mean he cares as we know from the start of this, he has no problem bed hopping)... idk - what to say, this toxic & Minato not worthy! oh well 🤷♀️🤦♀️
so after everything we have seen, i don't think i could ever truly trust Fan Xiao & i wasn't the person wronged like Shu Lang, so can he every truly ever trust him enough, to take him back?!??? idk - & now that he has a child dependent on him, in reality he never would chance it IMO but obviously the BL & reality have little to do with each other 😂🖐
