am sad & kinda angry, cause they cut this ep short. i like the actors that play the Wang brother's, but why were they needed in the last eps?!? just so Wu Suo Wei can say the line about Wang Shuo being adopted?!? plz - somehow feel cheated, even though both couples got their happily ever after moments . i feel like something is missing... feel like the bad guys got away with murder & the family kinda accepted Wu Suo Wei, by keeping quite. that's not exactly them welcoming him into the family - but the end...
this was a hell of a ride, pity this ep & how it was constructed kinda mars the perfection that was this BL IMO. bummer - think i will go re-read the web novel, now i got these actors (image in my mind) that can make that experience even better.
enjoyed & liked most of the actors & even the side character's, but without a doubt Wu Suo Wei/Zi Yu was the MVP for me. i will miss watching this every Mon & Tues - this was so much fun & for sure a rewatch.
others below were more focused on the sex scenes - or that's how i interpreted their saying that. but if u say the dialogue doesn't add anything more, then i guess this will be a one off. thanks for the heads up
idk why everyone is saying this is bad. i have watched it until ep 10 & i think this is very interesting. the acting isn't bad & the story is building slowly. sadly i can't find the rest, so i am stuck wondering what will happen😫bummer
what i saw didn't even have a translation, so i couldn't rate this. as i don't know if the dialogue made up for this in anyway. the way i saw it, i have to agree with u... even though i think some of the positions were freakin ridiculous & the marathon f*cking, was tiring to watch - so acting them out... nah not believable. so until i get to watch this with a good translation i can't rate this in anyway
again this looked like real sex to me, Gyeong Won is Seong Ho friend & he was sent to find out if the "teacher" he was meeting was the same guy that ghosted Seong Ho after blowing his mind. after getting spooked Min Hyeok comes back to ask who the friend that recommended him was & if Gyeong Won had told Seong Ho, that he had found the "teacher" he was looking for. then he continues to "service" him & then it ends with him again teasing an "maybe we will see each other - u never know" idk why the constant tease - or what the point of these "lessons" r, as they a one & done - it feels more like it's a notch on Min Hyeok's belt. that he got another guy hooked on him... very weird plot that idk what it's point is - either way this not BL as there no LOVE involved - even the teaching shtick - one would think the 1st lesson in sex would be to always use a freakin condom...
but what do i know - this was light porno at best - but whatever.... fine for a one off as this hella short (both seasons).
this looked like real sex to me & what i didn't get, at the end he gave Seong Ho his name & told him "don't call me teacher" that means he was interested in seeing him again & yet as i have seen the 2nd season / side story, i know that he doesn't see him again. that's why there, Seong Ho sends his friend to met an online sexual coach in the hopes he is the same "teacher" that ghosted him. i don't get the point - as in why play with guys heads (as he does the same to Seong Ho's friend). also even if he is a sex therapist, shouldn't he make sure his client's use condoms?!??
idk how i feel about this, was well done - too well done in the sexual scenes IMO (still think it wasn't just very good acting). but whatever - fine for a one off & this hella short (both seasons).
guess i am gonna be the odd one out as IMO this was ok, wont say i was blown away by the writing (it was bad) like that speech at the end - Armin HAD to add that crap, previous life sh*t, for what?!? & he said he learnt from his previous life & made better choices, i beg to differ... if anything Armin showed us that no matter how may chances u get, u will always end up making the same mistakes. he just lucked out that TD was there to hand hold him (quite literally) on his 2nd go - that's why he survived.
what did piss me off, was that Lilly got away with murder or rather her side pimping business can keep thriving. i guess this to show us that this is what it is & nothing will ever change - sad really. Armin or TD could've used their fame & power to do something for the other wanna-be actors, that r being exploited like this, but they got their happily ever after & that's that - guess everyone cares only for their own asses in the end - this the moral of this story.
the problem with these short dramas/BL's, they don't start they already finished & the plot has to develop at the speed of light, which IMO feels rushed & lacking as a lot is left open, unexplained or not explored. get that Jayden was in-love with his older brother's bff. a love he confessed when (will call him "Hyung" cause that's what Jayden calls him throughout this BL & we never get a name) Hyung get's into collage & as Hyung is uncertain or shocked by Jayden's confession. Jayden promises not to give up. but then yrs pass & am guessing that his older brother suggests rooming with his younger sibling (that is living alone) cause he knows his younger brother has a crush on his friend. & even though there times where Hyung looks very uncomfortable being around Jayden, by the end he goes with the flow - why idk... but as i said, this too short & a lot feels left open - but there's a happily ever after sealed with a kiss, so i guess we gotta be happy - idk. this was cute, but a one off -
came across the 1st ep on the tube & it feels so rushed, that it's feels unclear.... idk if this worth watching or not - from the 4 mins of the 1st ep i don't think i will even bother watching the other 8 mins🤷♀️
idk what everyone is going on about (but heck i thought this was BAD) but this bromance at best (given they freakin related, that's a good thing) there nothing remotely "Homoerotic" in subtext or context. people got BL on the brain, so two guys can't be friendly without it there being "subtext" like plz - what a reach... but this was a once of & a never again all rolled up in one 🤦♀️
the director is the problem here & i also think cause Korean society still isn't open & accepting, having…
i got what u meant & it's not that i don't agree, kissing or kinship is a part of acting & the role - & if u r not comfortable u shouldn't take the role. but what i meant in regards to the director, is not that they biased against LGB... but that they should know to change camera angles, so the kiss wouldn't be so in ur face & there other tricks to make it not this jarring . as watching dry kisses, is very uncomfortable to the viewer.
regarding the kisses themselves, even in straight drama's u get this weird kiss cause the Korean society doesn't accept open show of sexuality. it's vulgar & the actors (specifically the actresses get targeted if they r not reserved). now that is changing, so maybe it will slowly change even in the BL genre.
idk why these mini BL's (& even some J-dramas) r all the rage suddenly... but this time i couldn't watch until the end cause Sun U is basically playing Jae Hyeon, manipulating & gaslighting him & Jae Hyeon being so innocent & unsuspecting of Sun U's true motives, is making me see red. so i can't bring myself to enjoy this. even if Sun U is doing this cause he cares-for or even loves Jae Hyeon, idk to me this manipulative behavior isn't justifiable or enjoyable.
it bothers me when one of them gives tight lipped kisses when the other one its obviously trying to give a proper…
the director is the problem here & i also think cause Korean society still isn't open & accepting, having the weird kiss shows that "this just a role, we not really into this.." so to go off what u wrote, u might as well say 'if the Korean society isn't accepting of anything LGB, why even make a BL.
this was cute - the MC is the assistant producer, not the lead actors or their guardian spirits. it was over the top acting & cringe most of the time, but it's so short & was over in a blink, so all in all cute.
For me, not that great. The ending was interesting but wasn’t enough. Also too many unanswered questions!
does the bad-guy get his comeuppance?!? (i saw a clip of this where that director assaults Su Yi& then start threatening & pimping him out) & is this depressing from start to finish?!?? should i bother to watch this from start to finish???
