this was cute & i liked more then their coming out to the sister & the friend, the fact that they were ready to come out of the closet together as a couple. as this so short, i didn't expect any grand ending's & the friend also accepting Suhyun was great. all in all a very cute, sweet BL without much drama.

f*ck this was hot. so was right, the reason Xiao targeted Shu Lang was cause it got under his skin how good he acted. he wanted to bother & mess with him to see how the "mask of goodness" falls of his face. all his action to date, was his way of pushing Shu Lang to the edge - so he would show his true colors. that he isn't any different then the rest of the world - that he aint no saint. ironic that playing all these mind game's, his mind is the one that got effected the most - realizing he is attracted to Shu Lang - a man. & don't doubt he was joking when he said he was disgusted by gay men (or however he put it) i think that was his genuine sentiment. but just to mess with Shu Lang, he was ready to flirt with Lu Zhen & found himself getting turned on by Shu Lang. that whole scene in the car was smokin & the whole situation Xiao has found himself in is ironically hilarious. *******************but that aside, what Shu Lang did doesn't save that girl, not in the long run. that f*cker will find another occasion to force her into submission, as i am sure he has done before to others & will do after he has had his way with her. his position & power gives him the 'go ahead' & there no one that can really make him stop. so idk what Shu Lang's plan is, to get even. but can't wait for the next ep. this BL is living up to the hype i felt watching the trailer.

this was a tough ep for me to watch. this side of Shirasaki is hard for me to stomach, the groveling, begging... no matter the character behaving like this, it's more then 2nd hand embarrassment - it's visceral. seeing him begging, groveling for Kuroki;s help was beyond uncomfortable. the fact that in-spite of how Kuroki feels about Shirasaki, he in the end folded & gave into Shirasaki's begging says a lot about him. still didn't make that whole drawn out scene, any more plateable & for sure will never rewatch that. *************************************************************************************************************************also Shirasaki has a tendency to very be self-centered, in this ep he finally understood how important the role he was cast for was to Asami & how he must have felt to have give up on it. but no matter what, Shirasaki never thinks to ask Asami about his day, how he is feeling - heck Asami's so good at hiding his true feelings - u have to watch him like hawk to notice something is off & this time when he finally tried to reach out.... Shirasaki was off busy with his own issues. which r always more pressing then Asami or their relationship. cause he knows Asami will always indulge & prioritize him. ************************************i feel sad for Asami who was the adult as a child & now as an adult he is in a relationship with a needy child that can't seem to offer a bit of support.. heck he doubts Asami needs anything of the sort & takes him for granted. living like this can be exhausting & soul crushing. so before this ends i really hope Shirasaki matures enough to understand that he needs to support & be someone Asami can lean on & not always be the one taking & getting support. i hope -

all the bad-guys got their comeuppance - really liked that Gong Gil avenged his sister & was the one to punish Mok Ju, it seemed very fitting. & even though i am sure everyone loved the ending we got. personally i think it would be more fitting that after Ji Yeong lost her life & the book activated it's magic, she would disappear not the book. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************sorry but from that part onwards it was b.s. IMO - i get wanting a 'happily ever after' but come on - 1. the book can't disappear, for the main fact that Ji Yeong needs to get her hands on it in the future. so it has to remain in the past & pass through whomever until Ji Yeong get ahold of it. - 2. Ji Yeong waking up with the scar - sorry but either they could've made it look like she injured herself in the airplane - so it was still healing. but the way it looked, there no logic in it. & the worse bit - 3. the King traveled through time - how?!? just wishful thinking made it happen??? & let say him wishing really hard brought him into the 21st Century - yet he hasn't raised any alarms? there no country where people can just exist without documentation, let alone money. & he popped-up into a country bordering another, where someone undocumented who is Korean & speaks the language can mean a spy or worse. also he didn't look like a hobo, where he get the money to look so well groomed & clothed?!? & how he gonna make a living? be Ji Yeong kept man??? a reach IMO. **************************************************************Ji Yeong popping up in the past is less of an issue, as there were no records kept then - especially not of the average (non connected, moneyless, powerless) civilian's. but in this age, the idea is ridiculous - too fancifully for my liking. ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************this was a great drama until this ending (which soured thing for me) even though it was just 12 ep's, the plot was well thought-out & acted. there wasn't a boring moment or a moment where i felt this is unnecessary.... & would be perfect if not for the ending ugh... but it is what it is & i am sure i will rewtach this, cause this was fun to binge watch & loved a lot of the character's.

the acting here is phenomenal - the emotions r so raw & hard to just be a spectator & not get effected. feeling rage or tearing up with the character's, gave my goosebumps watching this throughout this drama so far & this was the peak. ******************sadly as we nearing the end, so knew that it's gonna get sad as many likeable character's r gonna die. idk what awaits us in the next (last) ep, but i don't want anyone in the royal kitchen to die. as is poor chief Eunuch Seon & Court lady Mal Im, let alone countless innocents had to be murdered so Prince Je San could take the throne. even felt sorry for Queen Dowager In Ju - but at least she didn't die thinking the one who went on a rampage, was Yi Heon. *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************also one of the reasons Prince Je San succeeded, was cause Chief state councilor Han & his whole clan were help bent on strategizing about how the get rid of the King, the irony is hilariously sad. ********************************************************* ****************************************************************************************************************************************& i didn't mention Im Song Jae (the King's bbf) or his father cause they were in the midst of conniving, scheming & killing. so yeah sad that they died but what they usually did to others came back to bite them in the ass & they not that innocent so it is what it is.

as much as i am enjoying this & kinda get what's going on i also feel like there is a lot going over my head & i am not 100% sure if what i assume is right. from what i see Queen Dowager In Ju is a good person & maybe she got rid of the King's mother cause her clan wanted absolute power (but that's assuming Yi Heon was from another clan - was she?) & i guess Prince Je San has got to the evidence 1st that Queen Dowager In Ju & her clan falsely accused & executed Yi Heon's mother - what will break him. causing him to go berserk & justify Prince Je San "take over". hell of a plan he has concocted. *************************************that's why there is a pat of me that's annoyed that Ji Yeong would stop with the b.s & just tell Ji Heon that his uncle Prince Je San was dangerous - to keep a close eye on him. something anything but keep quite.

i am glad i was wrong about Man Su [8th rank senior cook] & the reason he was being (or what looked like) mean to Gil Geum also glad he came clean to Ji Yeong. but they were being so transparent in their subterfuge - Mok Ju's personal court lady isn't blind or stupid. i hope Man Su's mother does pay the price, cause Mok Ju doesn't look like the forgiving & understanding kind.btw the person/character i have come to hate the most is Prince Je San - he is just gross / slimy & i hope Yi Heon (the King) will start suspecting him. as is Ji Yeong hasn't thought to warn him & i fear it will be too late when she does. there too many good people that could die cause of the rebellion...

i really liked the group, pity this didn't turn into a quest where the 4 just went on a long journey until the end. all the palace intrigue is so tiring & even depressing to watch. until this ep i felt really bad for Man Su [8th rank senior cook], yeah he was Mok Ju "rat" & would constantly do her bidding - BUT when push came to shove she did't stand by him & she wont in the future. so i get that he is powerless & can't refuse or evade her orders. but his going after poor sweet innocent Gil Geum - really pissed me off. like WTF dude why target her (yeah i know he thinks if she leaves it will hurt Ji Yeong) & yet Gil Geum lack power & is so innocent she can't hurt a fly - so i am pissed ugh.

in the previous ep when Ramphueng confronted the ghost of the female Khemjira, i thought that she or her previous incarnation stole her man or some such. but after this ep, i guess they murdered(?)/sacrificed(?) her child. that would freakin justify turning demonic, where no one can stand up too, let alone defeat u. as the saying goes hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. justified IMO ***************************************************************************************************************also from what i've seen until now, idk why in the description says that Khem got a female name, cause women in his family were safe. that's not the case. ********************************************************************************************************& as the old woman (that Jet called grandmother) knows Ramphueng & why she is holding a grudge, shouldn't she inform the master so they might figure out a way to appease her soul , so that she might stop & move on?!? *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but found it ironic but also cute that Jet & Chan r reincarnations of female Khemjira's bff's that were a gay couple. it's cute - even though there really isn't a story/romance between them. so idk where this is going. not developing their plot feels more like a miss then a hit to me. but it is what it is. & regarding the main couple, must say i am kinda astonished at Khem's lack of pride, given the fact Peem doesn't treat him with kid gloves. if anything he loves being extra rude & mean to him & yet Khem still around trying to kiss ass. & i get that it's cause he is desperate to live. still shocking *******************************************btw i thought Peem choosing the life of a shaman mean he needed to be celibate, no??? am sure that's what his grandfather told him. so doesn't everyone know this fact? if so why Phrima trying to woo him? & why Peem letting her?!??
Was this review helpful to you?
must say i don't get why Ramphueng is so powerful & wish Peem told Khem that the reason he can't help him, is cause it could cost him his life or the life of someone close to him. & hope just for Khem to live, "they" won't sacrifice a side character. the worse would be those spirit kids Peems got by his side 24/7. sorry not sorry Khem not worth the sacrifice. *********************here i don't even like him much, he the type of character where the whole plot & character's revolve around his sorry ass & i don't get why. was he needed to hold a candle for Jet & Chan??? if he was a good friend, the sec Chan came by, he would find a reason to leave - as Chan & Jet might bicker but u for sure can feel there is more between them. why insert ur-self into their story?? why everyone gotta cater to his pathetic ass? i don't find him cute in the least (the actor might be, but the character - NOPE) & the sad puppy dog eyes don't move me in the least. *********************************************************************** ****************************************************************************************************************************************ironically when the plot doesn't revolve around him, it's quite interesting, even cute & entertaining (even if he is in the scene) as long as the focus isn't on him - this good. but the sec he is the focus, i lose interest cause i know it will take him ages to talk, move, react like a freakin sloth *******************************************************************************************************btw mentioning Chan - i knew he would remain behind for Jet, sadly Khem is thick & can't catch a clue to save his life. he stuck like glue to Jet, so there is no chance of anything developing between Jet & Chan - which is a shame, as i am sure they would be 100% much more interesting & entertaining to watch. oh well - ********************************************************************Krittanai might be a good guy, but seeing him in this BL reminds me of his character in Work From Heart, he was a narcissistic ass-hat in that & the gaslighting let alone the SA didn't ender him much. so seeing him & that smile makes me uneasy. i know he gonna be the catalyst that forces Peem to admit his feelings if not act on them. but still Krittanai's character Ohm is to vivid to forget & sadly that not a plus. good acting as i hated him lol - but now i feel like i need to prepare myself to whatever he's gonna get up too - ugh

this ep had it's ups & downs, but that ending killed me, Wu Suo Wei almost gave his "master" a heart-attack lol.... but have a feeling the next ep is gonna be a tough ride. just when i thought the main couple had overcome all the major hurdle's & it would be smooth sailing until the end.. guess not - aish ************************************************************************************the start was hilarious, Wu Suo Wei's grand escape that was helped by the "goddess" or rather Chi Cheng & then Chi Cheng distracting his father to allow Wu Suo Wei to limp away. so funny & adorable, but that's Wu Suo Wei for u. the whole reunion was wholesome too, love how Xiao Shuai who is usually terrified of Chi Cheng's shadow - when it comes to Wu Suo Wei he has no fear... the way he pushed Chi Cheng out of the way, so he could get to Wu Suo Wei OMO funny...**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************seeing Chi Cheng & his father, now it is so clear that they one & the same, they r tough & mean to everyone but the ones they love. maybe cause they r so similar, they tend to butt-heads, ironic really. but given the society & country they live in - it's not hard to understand where the father is coming from. Wu Suo Wei's mother said more of the same, just worded it in a different way. it's hard being in a relationship as is, but when there laws against ur sexual orientation, it's triply so... ***********************& even though the sister ignoring Wu Suo Wei, when she came to pick up her son bothered me - her talking to her father about the couple. shows that she is just like her father & brother, she has a tough facade but isn't a mean person, it just takes her time to warm & open up to new people. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the scene where Wu Suo Wei was all alone & he went to his family home, cause he felt lost without Chi Cheng & was seeking comfort in the place that held so many memories, was kinda heartbreaking - cause now without a mother he is all alone. so Chi Cheng even been gone for a few hrs, is insufferable. yeah he got Xiao Shuai, but Xiao Shuai being in a relationship he knows he's the third wheel, even if that couple doesn't say so... & now Chi Cheng gotta get thrown into jail - poor baby Wu Suo Wei
Was this review helpful to you?
Wu Suo Wei's family might have been poor financially, but they were the richest when it came to TLC. now baby Wu Suo Wei is all alone & being an only child... kinda breaks my heart & yet he is more fortunate then someone like Wang Shuo, who is a broke human-being, regardless of everything he has in his life. but i don't feel sorry for Wang Shuo, i do for his brother cause he has turned into his nanny & sadly i doubt he will get to live his life, as he has to watch-over his brother 24/7. this so ironic ********** ****************************************************************************************************************************************Chi Cheng is an utter d*ckhead for throwing barbed-words at Wu Suo Wei, when he's in mourning. i get that he's angry & it annoyed him that the 1st words out of Wu Suo Wei's mouth, were "...what r u doing here..." Chi Cheng can be a petty sh*thead, the fact he loves Wu Suo Wei doesn't mean he can't be mean to him. he threw him out of the house, cause he stayed out all night, as if Chi Cheng hadn't spent the night out himself & there was no apology or anything afterwards. ************************so him breaking Wu Suo Wei just so he can then turn around & hold him close, isn't something i am happy about - but it is fitting of Chi Cheng's sociopathic personality - still doesn't make me like this any better **********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************well have to apologize to YueYue, she was being "motivated" by Guo, who wasn't wrong thought wise - the lie about why Wu Suo Wei & Chi Cheng met needed to come out & get cleared up, so they could have a healthy relationship but Guo was totally wrong in the way he went about things - IMO. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the rest of the ep was the polar opposite of how it started out, guess almost 2 eps of heartache & sadness was enough. not that i am complaining, this was fun & much needed after all the tears - just happy to see baby Wu Suo Wei back to his old smiling, naughty self

OMG but Armin is doing my head in.... idk how many times i stopped this ep, he keeps having these childish breakdowns & sorry but dude's a 40yr old, that got a 2nd chance & from the sec he woke up, he is acting worse then a child. so idk when he will start to get his act together (& we only in the 5th ep OMG) 5 more to go & i feel like pulling my hair out, in frustration. dude isn't acting like an adult & i wish - really wish every time he has his hysterical breakdowns, spouting nonsense about the f*cking future - i NEED someone to just come up behind him & slap him upside the head!!! maybe it will restart his brain & he will realize that he needs to STFU & avoid the future, not continuously cry about it - as that aint gonna change sh*t.... aish with this character! ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but beside this i kinda get him not rushing to forgive TD at the start, he just needed to explain that he was almost put i a similar situation, by his ex b*tch of a manager. so TD excusing his "arrangement", as Narin's offer didn't make it any better. but it worked out in a different way & then he met Charlie - which logically made him lose his sh*t & as he didn't know how to react/act with Charlie (as he was still figuring out what he should do) TD's popping up, just allowed him to take out all his anger, frustration & pain on TD. given all TD has done for him, it might seem ungrateful but usually we acts the meanst with people that r closest to us, cause we know they will never abandon us - whack logic, but it is what it is. so glad he realized by the end how important TD was to him & went to apologize - some growth...

think the fall from the 1st life & the head injuries from the 2nd, have turned Armin into a special needs case. cause idk who is moronic enough to go on talking about the future & if that wasn't enough, he keeps going up to absolute strangers & starts bombarding them with the past, as if they also know WTF he is talking about & can give him answers, as to what happened on the day he died. like WTF is wrong with this dude?!? u don't need to be a genius to figure out what u need to say, who to say it too, let alone when.... but the dude's suffering from diarrhea of the mouth - there is no thought process, what pops-up in his brain comes out of his mouth. it's not even cringe moments, just a continues face-palm moment with this dude. *****************& the sh*t about everything happening faster, is utter b.s - he just didn't know the people he would come to know in the future, so when he came across them in the 1st life he just didn't recognize them. like i watched a ton of BL's & drama's, yrs later sometimes when i rewatch something i realize '...wow this actor was also here...' but when i saw this the 1st time, i didn't know the actor so there was no need to notice him! this commonsensical - but we talking Armin so common sense not that common i guess - lol ... aish **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************still haven't figured out why TD is so enamored with Armin & why he is putting his life on a hold, to run around helping him. but if he cared so much why hasn't he offered him a better contract at his agency?!? wouldn't that be the best way to take care of Armin & his career?!? *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************& i know men can't hit women - but OMG i need someone to come slap Lilly's face off! not black & blue - that her skin will come off. she's a pimp & disgusting - i NEED some justice to be meted out ASAP in her case

i really love the scenes, when they were children it's so wholesome & heartwarming. & ironically Jun Xi has retained his innocence & pure heart from childhood. while Han Tuo (maybe out of desperation) has turned conniving & he keeps manipulating Jun Xi, which just feels wrong - when Jun Xi is this trusting - feels unfair. *******************************************so was happy when Han Tuo came clean & told Jun Xi how he feels about him, but then he had to turn around & ghost Jun Xi, just cause Jun Xi didn't reciprocate?!??? like r u kidding me??? **********************************************************************i hate these type of friends, u "fell" all on ur own & i guess gave & cared for... cause u were in-love. what about ur unsuspecting friend? they didn't have an ulterior motive when they cared & gave to u. but now cause u have confessed & they didn't know how to react, u r ready to throw away a life time of friendship as if nothing, cause u didn't get ur way??? hella selfish IMO. **********************************************************************************************************************************************even the end - Jun Xi has treated Han Tuo & Xiao Yang like family since they were children, even if Xiao Yang was suddenly ghosting him he would be worried thinking about her 24-7. that love? - yeah the platonic kind. idk how i feel about this whole plot that feel like a whole ass gaslighting exercise - toxic relationship.
