Hyun watching Ji Woon confess his heart, while not knowing Lee Hwi was female, must have been a sobering moment. cause his friend had the guts to do what he couldn't. yeah he might be worried Lee Hwi / Dam Yi will reject him, but have a feeling he is more worried that in-spite of confessing, they couldn't really do a thing about it. cause Lee Hwi / Dam Yi is in a hell of a bind given his identity & position. *********************************************************************************************************also read a comment saying they couldn't feel bad for Hyun as he had every opportunity to get in the ‘circle’ by confessing, that he knows the truth. well i beg to differ, i am 99% sure if he came clean while Lee Hwi / Dam Yi's mother was alive, he wouldn't live past the confession. **************************************************************************************************************he is related to the Grand Queen Dowager (who isn't Lee Hwi / Dam Yi's fathers mother). so he is a threat to Lee Hwi / Dam Yi's position & thus his mother & her clans position. she wouldn't let him live, if she found out he knew. & the only reason she left the Court Lady, Eunuch Hong Bok Dong & Hyung Chul (King Hyejong's bodyguard) alive, was cause she knew she needed their help to keep the ruse going. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************Lee Hwi / Dam Yi's need to rush into a marriage is to put distance between him & Ji Woon. to make it clear to Ji Woon that he was serious when he turned him down, that he should stop & move on. also i doubt the father is offering to delay the marriage out of concern for his son. he is more worried about Han Ki Jae's growing power, the conniving to make sure the Crown Prince's place to the throne was solidified. & the sec the Crown Prince marries let alone has a child, Han Ki Jae's lineage let alone position is gonna grow. which will not only endanger the King but his 2nd son's life & future. *******************************i donno how i feel about Lee Hwi persisting with So Eun, especially when she understood So Eun was interested in another. i get her wanting to get-on with the whole marriage thing so it can be behind her & it will push Ji Woon away. but that isn't fair to So Eun - or any woman for that fact as she can't really offer anything other then friendship. this is turning into a mess that idk how anything is gonna get resolved without someone dying

the wedding bit is gonna complicate sh*t - not that Lee Hwi / Dam Yi had an out. as the grandfather pointed out, at the Crown Princes age the father already had Lee Hwi / Dam Yi. they marry young - so this issue would've popped-up sooner or later. the bigger question is how Lee Hwi / Dam Yi gonna deal with "his" wife. let alone how he gonna deal with the honeymoon or the heir situation. ************************************************************************************************************************found it funny that Eunuch Hong Bok Dong suggested hand-holding - poor innocent Bok Dong (⊙_⊙;)********************************************************************************************************************************************wonder why Hyun rushed off when he realized Ji Woon was the kid Lee Hwi / Dam Yi saved. wondering not cause he realized Ji Woon was the 1st love of his 1st love. but it seemed like it had to do with the date & Dam Yi... so hope we find out soon - as is there a ton of questions i needed answered.************************************************************************************************************************************************Prince Chang Woon is such a douche, he a menace to society & am thankful that he had no chance of becoming King. that is the last thing the people of Joseon needed. but am left wondering about Prince Won San (Hyun's older brother) why he keeping company of that douche?!? his words made him seem like he not that different then his younger brother BUT his always being close to that despicable Uncle makes me wonder...

wondering if Kim Ga On is gonna be an addition to the list of guys falling for Lee Hwi / Dam Yi. but considering the flashback, maybe he hates royalty so much so, that that would never happen. still wondering if he knows who put the OG tutor of the Crown Prince to death, cause it wasn't Lee Hwi (who was a kid at the time) so why he try to kill him (in the assassination's attempt), cause he related to the people who ordered the death?!? & that's also why he is "watching" the King?!? & is he the one killing off the official's... & does this mean that the new Queen isn't behind the assassination attempt - so many questions. *****************************************************************************************************************************************glad the situation with the Ming delegation was solved. had a feeling that Tae Gam just needed someone to show remorse, about everything he had been through. glad Dam Yi (who sympathized) found it in herself to offer that token of peace. guess it was something she would've liked for someone to offer her - the understanding & expression of regret, that she will never receive. *******************************************************************************************************************************************side note: considering everything going on, am kinda shocked we didn't see hide nor hair of her granddad, he not one to sit back or take a vacation. especially when politics r involved - for sure not after bribing Tae Gam. wouldn't his side hustle be in jeopardy?!?

this was such a roller costar ep - aish.... Ji Woon fan-girling over Lee Hwi is adorable & funny. but his putting that flower behind his ear took me out. as in Korea a person who puts a flower in their hair, is considered bonkers. so that scene was extra funny IMO. but he still such a man, as he was oblivious to the part where So Eun has developed a crush, or that Lee Hwi was acting jealous (when the 4 bumped into each other), still that was the quite before the storm...*****************************************************************************************************************************************btw what is going on between Han Ki Jae & Grand Queen Dowager?!? was sure even if they didn't like each other, they were on Lee Hwi side. looks like the Grand Queen Dowager got her own agenda. also is King Hyejong cold towards Lee Hwi cause he dislikes her grandfather? if so, is he in accord with the new Queen wanting to push Lee Hwi out of line of secession? a lot going on there.*****************************************************************************************************************************************also i get why Tae Gam (Chief Eunuch of Ming) was acting like a spoilt brat or rather held a grudge against Joseon (as a whole). he was sold off as a kid, by his country men. he & other children like him - who knows what a life he lived in Ming. heck him being an Eunuch already paints a pretty distressing pic about how he survived there. so that despicable guy offering more slaves to Ming was adding fuel to a fire, that has been burning in him since he was a kid. ******************************************& as he couldn't take out his anger on that douche, the day after in a paranoid, infuriated state, assumed he was being looked down upon by a court lady & as he couldn't hurt the Crown prince, he took out his anger on her. so yeah he deserved getting punched but this gonna back fire, as sadly a court lady doesn't justify seeking revenge/justice on her behalf, let alone destroying diplomatic relations - what a mess

this a fun ep (in-spite of everything that happened). was partially right Hyun does have a crush on his cousin, only he is aware that his cousin is female. kinda shocked he chose to keep the secret. on the other hand feel bad for him as he's slotted into the SML role.... which means he will give & give, never to really get his hearts desire \(〇_o)/ might even end up sacrificing his life(ノω<。)ノ*****************************************************************************************************************************************must say as much as i don't like Han Ki Jae (as he a total bad-guy) in the scene where he walks in & slaps Chang Woon across the face - showed everyone especially Lee Hwi / Dam Yi that she is lacking & will never have the killer instinct to be the ultimate ruler, that her mother hoped for. leave her being scared (justifiably) of her grandfather, she is scared of her own shadow, even though she is doing a great job in masking this fact. but anyone & everyone who looks can see this glaring fact. & sorry but i don't buy Park Eun Bin as a male - she is a great actress & is doing a better job (far better then other actresses i've seen in roles they supposed to be playing men), but anyone with eye's can see that she is female. but the plot & acting is so good i can ignore this glaring truth.*****************************************************************************************************************************************what is Kim Ga On's assignment?!? he now close to Lee Hwi but keeping tabs on her father - why?!? idk what is going on & how everything is connected - hope we get answer's soon. also i was wondering why Hyung Chul stopped being Lee Hwi bodyguard, he is the main one that has been protecting Dam Yi since she was a baby. guess he got promoted to being King Hyejong's bodyguard - bummer. *************************************************************************************************************************considering Dam Yi situation, she needs to surround herself with people she can trust & neither the Court Lady nor the Eunuch can do much (other the sacrificing their lives) which will give her a few secs (if that) before she is "taken down".

i thought Ji Woon would be faster on the up-take. the sec i saw his "office" being ransacked, i knew his father was involved. the torture of the brother & sister (that work for him) was overkill IMO. but i guess Seok Jo needed to drive the point, that Ji Woon had no other go, but to agree & do as he was told. even though i totally don't trust his father & am worried, that by the time Ji Woon fulfills his assignment, both siblings will be dead. *****************************************************************************************************************************************also until the outing at the end was about to say that i guess i got i wrong (about Hyun's reaction/feelings towards Lee Hwi). but the way he looks at him/her regardless of their familial bonds & similar gender that aint platonic. i for sure haven't looks at an of my cousins (regardless of their gender) the way he looks at Lee Hwi. ********************************************************************************************************************************************& i was sure the assassin was sent by the new Queen (Lee Hwi's stepmother) & her clan. but the Grand Queen Dowager (who seemed to be rooting for Lee Hwi) appointing the guy that was the assassin, is making me wonder if i read her wrong. or was she duped.

find it ironic that Dam Yi saves Ji Woon again from drowning. the dude in water sinks like a stone. one would think after what almost happened to him as a kid, he would learn how to swim \(〇_o)/(ノω<。)ノ *****************************************this ep on a whole was very light & fun. liked the new addition of adult Hyun. even though the way he looks when thinking of Lee Hwi, or acts around him it seems like he is infatuated with his younger cousin. has he figured out that Lee Hwi is a girl? (not that i have a problem with BL) just when he was looking at the "pen" he brought for Lee Hwi & that other dude made fun insinuating it was for a female, Hyun didn't look offended. which he should've been, as too him Lee Hwi is male (a male of small stature, but a male all the same). maybe i am over thinking - time will tell.****************************************************************************************************************************************side note: i feel sad for Prince Jehyeon, as it seems like he genuinely likes his older step-brother. so seeing him trying & getting the cold shoulder is sad. not that i am faulting Dam Yi, even without the jealousy part of seeing her father being open & loving towards the new son, she has to be doubly guarded as the new Queen is openly hostile.

2nd ep & i am bloody crying - that scene where the mother tells her daughter to eat, broke my heart. & if that wasn't enough poor I Wol (she wasn't even a witness per-say. just worried about her friend & asked the inspector - the last guy asking after her, if he found Dam Yi. only to get "taken out"). but the bit that i was thankful for - was that Ji Woon saw his fathers true colors. *********************************************************************************************************************************given everything that was going on, was worried how Lee Hwi / Dam Yi would react when she found out that Ji Woon was Jung Ji Woon son. the man that killed her identical twin by mistaking him for her.****************************************************************************************************************************************also wasn't expecting to lose the Crown Princesses so soon. was worried who could help Dam Yi reach adulthood. cause as much as Court Lady Sang Gung & Eunuch Hong Bok Dong could help, they didn't have the power to get in between anyone as powerful as either grandfather, the Emperor or that despicable Han Ki Jae. but that whole part was skipped over lol so never mind.

the scenes with the budding romance between Dam Yi & Jung Ji Woon were the bright spot in this ep. the rest was pretty depressing & not only talking about young Lee Hwi's end. but the massacres at the start, just to cover up the existent of Dam Yi being a (god forbid) female twin to the new born prince. i guess when a woman has no worth, it's logical that sharing the same womb will be looked down upon. sad reality (the inferiority of females) world around at that point in time, i think -*****************************************************************************************************************************************the abusive patriarchs in this - whether it be the Queen's father, the Crown Prince's father or even Ji Woon's father, that cause of the edict from the Emperor (or personal ambition) is ready to kill anyone getting in his way. just shows how they abused the power they had. scary world/time to live in regardless of ur statues or gender.************************************************************************************************************************************************************so how ironic they all cause the death of the one they want/the one of worth, while that poor child ends up paying for the greed of so many.

am glad didn't have to suffer another ep of Yi Joo getting stepped on. but - get she didn't think about the consequence's of the encounter (crashing Yoo Ra's date), no one could've assumed Do Guk's move would be to invite her to his hotel-room. but once she accepted the offer, one upping it by requesting to spend the night together. she should've known what would be awaiting her back home (considering she grew-up with devils). lets say she didn't think - the sec she was locked in her room, she should've(!) contacted Do Guk - asking for help. again cause she grew-up in that hellhole & knew how those demons would treat her.*****************************************************************************************************************************************seeing how Do Guk treated/ reacted to Yi Joo have a feeling their backstory (like a majority of K-drama's) they met when they were kids & she was good/kind to him - that stuck with him. so he got a soft spot for her, which in this ep after everything he finds out, will develop. but have to say that kiss min's after Yi Joo vomiting, makes that whole scene a bit yucky IMHO *****************************************************************************************************************************************the rest of the character's r just gross human-beings - they keep one upping each other at being vile. hard not to pray for their downfall & hope it will be hard & painful. ***********************************************************************************************the "mother's" hate for Yi Joo as a child (not just an adult), the way she has broken her - seems personal like Yi Joo the consequence of her husband affair or some such. yeah people don't need a reason to be evil, but it seems personal with Jung Hye. (time will tell)

when this plot-point played out in the OG drama, i was sure it was just a way for the writer to get the mains to cohabitate. but now am wondering, does this actually go on in China, where cause the parents separate & get remarried to new people, the children of the previous marriage r discarded for the grandparents to rear or (worse) to an orphanage?!? hard to wrap my head around this type of mentality. u chose to get married & bring children into this world, but when things don't work out in the marriage, the innocent children become collateral damage?!?\(〇_o)/*******************************************************************************************************************************************those guys from the previous ep seemed like trouble, but how easy was it for them to get into the aunts house (⊙x⊙;) a woman living alone should know better, then to have shoddy locks - just saying (ノへ ̄、) & thankful this didn't turn dark & they left the poor kid alone... but i guess this was needed to push Su Yu, so he would tell his father to marry Duo Duo's mother.****************************************************************************************************************************************btw Duo Duo's father is in jail - not dead & not divorced - like what?!? & didn't Su Yu tell Wu Bi he got incarcerated a yr ago - so what am i missing? how this logical? this writing was a bit farfetched IMHO****************************************************************************************************************************************side note: that girl that keeps using Han Bo as an errand-boy is getting on my last nerve, he needs to tell her to f*ck-off in no uncertain terms. ******************************************************************************************************************additional side note: kind a cute that Duo Duo changed her wish at the end cause she now had a father

1st off didn't like or enjoy the sex scenes, they just felt intrusive & exploitative IMHO. which made me cringe & look away. especially when u see (hear) Masumi bonding & developing deeper feelings cause of the intimacy. *******************************which wasn't the case with Ritsu, in-spite of him saying "i love u" it just fell flat to me, it felt like he was parroting Masumi without any true meaning behind those words. *************************************************************************************that's why wasn't shocked he was sleeping around. he didn't think it was a big deal (even though he never had the talk with Masumi), defining their relationship. something that would force him to make it clear, up front that he wasn't a one person man, that a relationship with him would always/only be an open one. **************************************************************something he knew not one person (he was "playing" with), would knowingly agree too. so he acted oblivious, even after getting caught he choose to gaslighting Masumi by saying "i thought u understood". **********************************************************************************************************************************************get why Masumi went a bit cray cray, considering Ritsu was his 1st true love (still didn't like the stalking, which was driving him crazier). so even though Ritsu was in the wrong to document them together, but given the promiscuous life he led, he must've learned the hard way, that he needs a leverage against people who wont let go, when he had enough. so even though disliked the method, i understood the reasoning behind it. ********************************************************************************************************************************************btw Ritsu aint a good-guy so idk why anyone thought he was bad, only after seeing he had taken candid pic's of them together. given his narcissistic personality i doubt he can ever truly be in a healthy , mutual reciprocity relationship \(〇_o)/ but from ep 1, i've stated that this a toxic 'ship' in normal circumstances `(*>﹏<*)′in these unusual ones, doubt they any less toxic lol but it is what it is(ノへ ̄、)

don't get why Jang Hyun keeps finding ways to put himself in danger, not with Gil Chae's attitude. yeah i know - love\(〇_o)/ blah blah blah.... but seriously, he keeps getting hurt & involved with a mess he didn't want anything to do with from the start, cause he has fallen for her ( ˘︹˘ ) every time he finds himself in the mix of things ╮(╯-╰)╭****************************************************************************************************************************************have to say this, Yeon Jun is a moron(!) i thought scholar's were supposed to be smart. here the only reason he has made in this far & in one piece, is (1st) cause of Soon Yak serving as his personal bodyguard & now Jang Hyun `(*>﹏<*)′ yet, he won't quite (╬▔皿▔)╯ he can't fight for the life of him - like make it make sense(ノへ ̄、)****************************************************************************************************************************************the banter between Jang Hyun & Gil Chae is fun at times. but when u got a character like Eun Ae around, Gil Chae kinda falls short. & yeah maybe Eun Ae is too pure & docile to be paired up with someone as jaded as Jang Hyun. but he for sure would have a boring, but safe life with her (●'◡'●)****************************************************************************************************************************************btw what is the back story. why Ryang Eum seemed elated, he gonna see the emperor?!? how he connected with Hong Taiji & the invaders & why Jang Hyun give the crown prince that (dirty) look, even before their conversation ผ(•̀_•́ผ)

both the older guys in this BL r such a pain (in different ways), but Aish ~(>_<。)\ i wouldn't be putting up with either of them. both Shin & Asuka r totally whipped, to keep coming back for more.****************************************************************************************************************************************with Shu at least it's not a roller coaster - he just tepid & stoic. hard to really read what he's thinking, let alone how he truly feels for Asuka. even the end, him seeing Asuka (helping that girl friend out by duping someone who can't get the message, into thinking she's) now dating him. i can't say for sure what Shu felt. was that jealousy? was that hurt at the betrayal? what ¯\(°_o)/¯guess the next ep will clue me in o(≧∀≦)o****************************************************************************************************************************************but Minato is the main one that is getting under my skin. get he's not 100% ok with the fact that Shin's 11 yrs his junior. but he keeps having conversations in his head, instead of voicing them to Shin. ***********************************************************Shin complements him, thanks him, professes his love to him (not mentioning all the other stuff he does to show his love) non-stop & what does he get in return? weird, rude, quirky outbursts of verbal abuse ผ(•̀_•́ผ) ?? & he's still coming back for more🤦♀️ironically what i dislike even more is that Minato keeps pushing him away, treating him rudely/unkindly time & again. & then he gives him a small gesture of hope & kindness pulling him back in. i don't like this - feels gaslight-y to me.****************************************************************************************************************************************would say communication is the key - but the ones that need to open their bleedin mouth, r the older guys that should know better. (╬▔皿▔)╯ugh `(*>﹏<*)′

this has taken me 3 tries to get to the end(ノへ ̄、) usually i stop at the (or after the) nurse room scene¯\(°_o)/¯ the oops i slipped & landed on my love interest\(〇_o)/ is an over done trope, that just make me roll my eyes & cringe. **************plus i aint into the bully to lovers trope. it's totally different from the enemies to lovers trope, where there is a type of equality & feels less toxic IMHO.****************************************************************************************************************************************wont say this was any better this time around. Da Yeol isn't just stoic, he's the underdog (given his background). the fact he's so focused on his training, isn't just cause he wants to succeed for his father, but so he can better their lives. which made this whole ep that much harder to push through. especially when not one adult used their logical brain & just jumped to conclusions (they didn't even try to hear him out). **********************************************************************************him also being naïve (like the juice box incident, or the phone call after giving Tae Hyun his number) makes me feel sorry him even more. cause he seems even more trusting & vulnerable, not someone who can handle a jaded person Tae Hyun.****************************************************************************************************************************************mentioning Tae Hyun, i have yet to dislike a main this much - he not cute or funny. add the friends he like to hang with & they seriously make me see red. & sorry but they hurting so they taking it out on others isn't justified or excusable. Da Yeol being a softhearted guy makes me dread his falling for Tae Hyun that much more ~(>_<。)\
