Tempted to watch this a second time. I recall liking it a LOT until about the last quarter, but I can't remember what about that latter part so annoyed me. Anyone else who can remind me, feel the same?
I do remember the hilarious sex scene where the body alignments were so off that it was obvious nothing was going on under those sheets. :)
Based on comments and reviews, I was expecting it to be unbearably dark, but this was a pleasant surprise. More…
MDLers love to go on and on about how shows with dark themes are "not an easy watch," and wave people away with "trigger warnings," otherwise known as spoilers.
Because there are a lot of daisies on this website.
I call them "delicate flowers." :) Afraid of life in general and eager to be offended, they want a "trigger warning" for anything that might elicit strong feelings, from which they believe they are owed protection. It's all weird and somewhat disturbing. Here in the US, it began maybe 25 years ago, with college students demanding they be protected from "offensive" language. They demanded universities become "safe spaces" for them, rather than environments in which they learned to navigate the real world as adults.
Then, they moved out into the larger cauldron of business and society, and the demands kept growing and haven't stopped.
Jed Chung has a nice screen presence. I think he has the talent to be an even better actor than he is now if he keeps at it. Plus, Jed is sex on a stick, which always helps in the movie biz. The cop was good, too.
For the less informed people like me, could you please explain the difference between the two? Feel free to be…
Exactly. There's an MDL contingent that is ever-eager to let us know which films/dramas are BL and which are "LGBTQ," oh...also "queer." You have to study and know these distinctions to truly be a person of the pink persuasion.
Which, as indicated by your comment above, you are not. ;)
This is genuinely the worst thai BL to use to reintroduce yourself after two and a half year LOL
Yeah...I ended up dropping it after episode 2. Later, when I thought about moving on to episode 3, it seemed like a chore rather than a pleasant diversion.
While I agree with you that Lost in Kyoto deserves a low rating because of its extremely low budget and the fact…
Sure you do. This reply is rude, disrespectful, and completely clueless. Why am I able to reply to you, or even see your comment, if I'm "blocked?" You are so full of s**t.

Will you be going across all MDL pages now, checking spelling and grammar in all comments? Didn't think so. Glad to know you were so lost for comebacks to the content of my replies that you had to resort to such utter lameness.
I'm questioning your use of the ellipsis and dash in your reply above. Please review, correct, and resubmit.

While well-above average for a BL, this did NOT steal the show from NR.

Maybe just 8 eps though. A lot of 12-ep dramas are stretched out and laden with filler.

Beautiful theme song.

Please seek out your psychiatrist for a double-dose injection of self-awareness.
Maybe they can help with your allergy to perceptiveness, as well.
Understanding that there are not separate comment "pages" for each episode is apparently over your head.
Enjoy your day.
"I" had just finished episode 2.
Did you know people can watch a drama when they want and on any schedule they choose, even years after it has finished airing?
It's true!
There is no "episode 8 page."
You lied.

Please finish the job and put us both out of your misery.

Is that a proper use of asterisks?
