While I agree with you that Lost in Kyoto deserves a low rating because of its extremely low budget and the fact…
lol Love that you're obsessed with me. I'm living rent-free in your tiny mind, but small as it is, there's lots of space in here anyway. You really should do something about the cobwebs.
P.S. Wait a minute...are there separate pages for each episode of dramas on mdl now? I did not know that and am wondering how I stumbled onto the "episode 8 page" without knowing it. Oh wait...now I know: desperate for ammo to launch my way, you lied.

This reply is beyond parody.
I've run into desperate losers on this site, but you're the first to pretend that "sloppy spelling and grammar mistakes" in an Internet comment thread are something to be dissected and graded, as if you're some wannabe high school English teacher. ARE you a wannabe high school English teacher? lol
So you like and support gay-phobic content out of gay-phobic China, run by a gay-phobic dictator...own it!
Finally, I am well-educated. Thanks for noticing. :)

"Addicted" was made ages ago, and features zero fake homos in silk pajamas, flipping through the air doing triple somersaults while slicing people apart and tucking their nine tails between their legs, then casting meaningful, longing glances at other fake homos, while people like you drool and agree to pretend along with the show makers that the whole enterprise is not a huge joke and not an insult to all gay people and those with a healthy taste level everywhere, regardless of sexuality or gender.
Comparing "Addicted" to homophobic shows like "The Untamed" and "Revenged Love" is idiocy. They are worlds apart. Addicted honestly and forthrightly portrays gay love and sexual attraction. It doesn't hide it behind the above-mentioned smokescreen and ask the audience to play the stupid game you are so eager to engage in.
That you don't like the specifics of the gay love story in "Addicted" is beside the point. The makers were at that time free to tell ANY gay story. And you are free to not watch it.
I do condemn China's homophobic, gay-hating government, and I don't care what you think about that. Also, I disdain the attitude you espouse, which only encourages the industry in that backward place to keep turning out this insulting garbage. Why should the government free its creative industries to make what they choose as long as people like you will eat up this kind of sublimated fake-gay trash that is degrading to anyone who cares about LGBTQ people?
China IS the problem, and you are likely a Chinese government bot. They employ thousands of such automatons to spew what you're spewing. If you're not getting paid for it, you should sign up. Why insult gay folks for free when you can make a career of it?
If you don’t like this genre, don’t even start watching it! Gosh
Why watch homophobic, pseudo-BLs or pseudo gay content at all? Why watch anything pretending to be gay-but-not-really out of any country? In so doing, you are only encouraging the homophobic content. Why should their industry push for greater freedom when they know people like you will watch this stuff?
I wouldn't watch this insulting content if it came out of Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, or anywhere else, so why watch it out of China?
Quit abusing the word "hating." The way people like you use it is absurd. I don't "hate" this show or China. They are not worth expending the energy it takes to "hate" them. I disdain them as I would any such garbage thrown at me, and I toss it aside. To do otherwise would be kind of "dumbass." :D
Her "haters" will follow her to RedNote. I certainly understand tuning out pscyho Cnetz, but how does switching platforms accomplish anything? Maybe she should consider simply posting with comments permanently off.

"You truly are an obnoxious person." hahaha Thanks for this. I laughed.
There are 9,522 comments in this thread. TWO of them, mine, are negative. No doubt, the other 9,520 comments are splendiferously positive, ecstatic even. But my two un-strong, not-at-all-witty comments are too much to bear? You are exceedingly insecure in your love for this show.
After I left my first comment, you came spreading "hatred and self-righteousness," telling me not to watch your beloved "genre." Please grow some self-awareness before engaging me further.

Why? Did my one comment ruin your view? :)
Genre-wise, I knew I found the Chinese "censored BL" stuff obnoxious, with its gay-but-not-really characters in garish silk caftans, casting meaningful glances at each other while triple-flipping through the air and slicing bad guys apart, tucking their nine fox tails or whatever between their legs as they go to be absurd, but didn't know that was what I was getting into, minus the caftans, when I started this.
But, I quickly discovered how awful it is and bailed. Sorry to upset you(!).
omg..."omegaverse," "knotting," "rutting," "in heat," "exiled," blahblahblah...? China can't show a decently realized, emotional and sexual gay relationship, but they can put together all this moronic pseudo-sexual silliness over 16 freakin' episodes and people not only watch it, but obsess over the minutiae of it all in comments below?
The answer, sadly, is yes.
Who watches this crazy, deeply stupid s**t? Reveal yourselves!
Changed my mind...I'm dumping this rather than attempting to watch it over time.
After watching two episodes, I thought about when I might go for number three today. Doing so felt like a chore to dread rather than a pleasure to look forward to. So yeah, the show is mostly bad, as are the vast majority of Thai BLs. If I want hot, gay making out and sex, I'll seek out feature films or porn.
Episode 2: Well, this isn't the worst Thai BL I've ever seen. I only have to FF through about a third of each episode. The make-out scenes are excellent. Those drawn-out pauses between lines of dialogue are crazy-making. Jun is so cute, I want to violate his every opening.
The endless workplace sexual harassment is wonderfully amusing and entertaining...no, no, I mean TERRIBLE! It is horrendous. The power imbalances are criminal!
