But see, I am of the opinion that directors should be casting actors who can actually "act," not actors who cannot do so. And there are plenty of talented, young actors around who could have filled this role and made it believable and the character sympathetic. This guy's bad acting pulls me out of the show with every line he delivers.

Now, if he's some kpop idol, and I'm not going to bother checking, and the whole idea was to cast him in a show, well then, what you get with an arrangement like that is a lousy show. It has happened many times with idols in BL. One notable exception is Jae Chan of DONGKIZ in "Semantic Error." He is a fine actor. I wish he'd drop the K-pop gig and go full-time acting. They're trying to make him a solo act, and he's fine but not extraordinary on stage alone as an idol. I like to call him "Pillow Lips," cause, you know, his lips are like two pillows. :D

Hey brainiac, take a look at my custom lists, which include lot of films as well as BLs. If you did so, which I'm sure you won't, you'd see that I don't "hate" lots of shows. Quite the contrary, I love lots of shows. It's just that none of them are silly messes like Boys' Balls Tactics.
Perhaps get some standards?

Not snark: Consider breaking up long comments like this into paragraphs, moving from one general thought to the next. Those breaks would make your walls of text look much less intimidating. MDLers HATE anything longer than three sentences for starters, and huge text blocks are causing seizures here, I'm sure. :)

lol This is beyond bad, but occasionally in a good way during the "sex" scenes, which if you squint hard enough to overlook the bad acting, are semi-arousing. Thank goodness for the ff option. I was through this thing in 20 minutes. Despite all the hoopla from the faux MDL prudes in comments, the sex is not the least bit explicit or believable. But that's where the "so bad it's almost good" element comes in. The camera shots where a lamp or a phone or whatever is carefully placed so as to cover the supposedly naked actors' junk are unintentionally hilarious. This director has zero self-awareness.

Itt is the hottest and looks fine in chains.
Day is hot/evil in a near-convincing fashion.
That Gear dude is a bad actor, not very good looking, and I have no idea why he was cast.

This has the usual style of bad acting required for all WeTV projects. I blame the directors because I'm guessing the actors are doing the best they know how, but any coaching they get is really, really awful. Same, over-the-top, stupid OST, blah blah blah.

So, this has to get a "dropped" from me, seeing as I watched all of 20 minutes and skimmed the rest. Two stars for semi-hot non-con scene. The rest is a zero.
