his previous action dramas aren't from Netflix though, Taxi Driver is from VIU and Chief Detective is from Disney/HULU.…
Netflix is the distributor of Taxi Driver, and the series' three seasons running on Netflix is where the $$$$$$$$$ come from. Is it OK with you to phrase it that way?
I was going to respond further, but nah. I don't feel like engaging you. My comment above speaks for itself. It's fine if you disagree. I don't care.
I thought that when someone blocked you, all your replies to them disappeared from sight along with theirs. The block came well after my inquiry as to their Dumbassland citizenship, a day or so later. Clearly, they blocked me upon realizing I was correct. That revelation was too painful to bear, apparently.
It's telling that you're unbothered by the personal insults lobbed my way, but are deeply saddened and concerned by mine. Interesting. Yeah, you're just visiting and abhor "abysmal" negativity, yet you read through a full "negative comment cycle," then chose to issue a scolding to one of three participating parties.
I'll assume that, as part of your healthy, self-care practice, you won't be back to read this reply, but I'll leave it just in case.
More than half of the above conversation about "queer" is missing. Another commenter who jumped in and came at me deleted all his comments. Either way, consider not playing hall monitor in comments. It rarely comes off well.
Thanks for the info on the Yoo Ah In clip. I will check it out.
This is the first watchable thing out of Thailand in ages. lol Of course, it's absurd and has that weird junior-high-school-drama-club-doing-soft-core-pedo-porn vibe, but the frequent skin (bare butts!) and horny scenarios make up for it, so I'm OK with that. :D
Several of the actors actually look like young men and are exceedingly attractive, so I can overlook the grade school-looking cast members, bad acting, clunky direction, pause-filled dialogue, slow-motion movement, and hilariously nonsensical plot. With the help of my FF button, I can navigate from spicy scene to spicy scene.
Thai BLs, if that's what this is, can be so weird. What's up with the bleach-blonde actor, who happily acts out sex scenes, but won't really kiss?
What is your other favorite JBL that's showing now? Thanks.
I started watching Love Sea, but dropped early in the second episode. I can't deal with that kind of silliness. Just my opinion.
As for other shows, please fire them at me. I have watched all the Jbls I know of, but it's always possible a good one slipped by me. I would appreciate it.
This is very good. Love guitar guy's creepy vibe and sexy, hoarse voice.
As I got further in, I didn't enjoy it as much. Some lame directorial choices. Still digging guitar guy's husky voice and creepy vibe. He'd make a great vampire.
This is quite good. The acting is exceptional, from all four actors. Why is it some of these independent studios, struggling by on tiny budgets, often bring the feels far more effectively than other, big-budget Kbls that leave me cold? I see a lot more natural kissing from the independents, too. I suppose the more establishment groups are more paranoid about reaction from the generally homophobic Korean public?
And I'm sure he is fine with your choice! As if your ranking of him makes a difference to his global and local…
Please point out where I asserted that my "...ranking of him makes a difference to his global and local impact or his profit line." I made no such claim, even if the voices in your wee head say otherwise.
lolYou would think this is a "masterpiece." Did she write the shooting scenes where Odajima and everyone…
I checked out the screenwriter. I've only seen a scattering of her work, but am a big fan of the underrated/rarely mentioned "No Touching At All," which is #15 on my 30 fave gay flicks list, where it sits among big-budget feature films. It has a gritty/neurotic/horny vibe I love. The chain-smoking, booze-swilling boss is a favorite character. I also liked the "Seven Days" series and "Does the Flower Bloom."

What an unexpectedly pleasant response. Appreciated.
My own hierarchy: Taiwan Japan Korea
Thailand
I loved many of the old classic Thai BLs (Lovesick, Make It Right, Together With Me, Dark Blue Kiss, Love By Chance, Tharntype, Until We Meet Again, Theory of Love, etc.), which were the first of the genre I saw, but almost everything since 2020 has been crap. KinnPorsche had its moments, but deteriorated over its runtime. ITSAY/IPYTM are so on another level that I have a separate category in my head for them.
Your "honest and sincere expression of sympathy" came amid rhetorical bombs from your buddy Eliot_Tools and this from you, directed at another commenter: "Oh, you're one of *those*. The "LGB Alliance" hate group. The ones who hate everyone who doesn't conform to your narrow standards of non-heterosexuality and gender. I get it now."
But yeah, why would I think you were being snide or "rude," right?
Every assumption I've made about you and Eliot the Dumbasslander, is based on your own words. Get over your delicate self.
lol Did I use too many "fancy words" for you? "Obfuscate" is a pretty big word by MDL standards. Why would you use such a thing? What is YOUR "true intention?"
"It says that you're a troll." You repeated this phrase three times. It seems you have "devolved into parroting" yourself. Why would you do such a thing? (Oh god, I parroted again.)
I did not say "everyone" who is not from the US is from Dumbassland. I said that YOU and Eliot_Tools are from Dumbassland. Living in Dumbassland has nothing to do with not living in America, it has to do with being, you know, a dumbass. Hell, half the people in America are dumbasses. I knows from painful, everyday experience.
So, where DO you live, and why are you reluctant to share its name?
BTW, the etymology (oh god, another fancy word!) of a word doesn't change, regardless of where one lives, though I'm sure you'll claim otherwise.

As for Kinou Nani Tabeta, sorry, but not a fan. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though. :)

What an odd reply.
